Nova is a swamp living Louisiana woman. She figured out real quick she'd been kidnapped by aliens. NOw here she is in a blacked out cage who knew where. But she's a fighter and she won't give up. She will get away somehow. Then her cage is opened.
Zaarek is a a Space Guardian and enforces justice for the Ohrurs. But he doesn't know who he is..
Zaarek is surprised when one of the humans rushes him and starts to hit him. He finally gets her under control and he takes his charges (him a Space Guardian a babysitter!!!) and they leave the auction house. Once outside he gets into a verbal sparring match with the noxious little Nock who's a influencer. Now she's on the run heading somewhere. She makes it to a forest and heads in. Meanwhile he's discovered she's missing and uses Nock's comm to track her then he's off after her. Now this is an interesting job. Now he's tracking the little troublesome human female. Only he was never trained to track. What?? Then starts to discover other abilities he never knew he had although he knew he wasn't trained for those things.
He finally finds her and they tangle again. He asks if she's going to run again. If so he'll need to tie her up. Then he is hit with an intense pain. Then so is Nova. The pain they are both having is located in the exact same spot on their bodies. Then she's out for the count.
After becoming conscious again they start to walk back and on the way start to talk and learn about each other. Then she asks him a question he has no idea how to answer because he has no idea about his life. When she makes a decision as to where she wants to go he gets upset and goes for a walk. As he contemplates he decides he needs to know the answers as to who he is and where he comes from. With Nock assisting they discover that Zaarek species is unknown. The search is on to find what the Guardians are. Why their origin has been hidden? In the meantime Nova and Zaarek must come to terms with what Nock calls their mating marks. No wonder Zaarek is having severe headaches.
A fascinating story with adventure, love and a human woman who will fight at the drop of a hat.

Wow!!! An awesome space adventure mixed with a fabulous romance! Nova is one of nine humans rescued (many more were abducted when Cryons invaded earth) by Zaarek, a Space Guardian, at an illegal slave auction house. All the other humans in her cage were cowed at the time but Nova is a fighter, she escaped into the forest, prompting Zaarek to chase after her. Thinking it would be a quick retrieval to rescue one helpless female human wearing nothing but his cloak, with no weapons or knowledge of the planet…. He is repeatedly surprised when Nova leads him on a chase for several days through the forest. She grew up in the swamps of Louisiana, learning to shoot, hunt gators and snakes, make fire, and basically survive in the wild. When he finally catches her their chemistry ignites…along with their mating marks??? Fiery tempers clash as they form a hesitant truce…they return to the space port to collect the rest of the humans along with the reluctant holostreamer Nock that Zaarek enlisted to help watch the humans while he went to get Nova. Questions arise about Zaarek’s origins, the mating marks, and the SG’s employers the Ohrurs, as Nock, Nova and Zaarek bring the other humans to the refugee planet being set up for them by the Pandraxians.
Will Nova and Zaarek stay together as mates? Will they be able to figure out where Zaarek came from, who he is? Will the Ohrur release him from their employ to be with his mate?
This is a wonderful world building book!!! The intrigue is great! The chemistry and then the love story between Nova and Zaarek is fantastic😍😍😍 Their story builds into one of a conspiracy surrounding the Ohrurs (the Minders) and the Space Guardians, who only seem to have memories starting with their training as Space Guardians, nothing before, and any attempts to remember are met with blinding headaches….

Nova was in New Orleans for business and staying at a hotel when the Cryons came and invaded and captured a lot of the humans of Earth. She and eight others are about to be auctioned off on Morrakbar when a Space Guardian arrives. Zaarek was one of four of them whose job was to find and save humans and punish those who harmed them and bring them to Pandraxian space since the majority of the rulers therein had found their soulmates in the humans. Zaarek and the other three Space Guardians were to take the humans to Astrionis where they would begin their new lives. Nock, is a Kred who constantly shows up where Zaarek is and their snark and banter is hilarious when taken with a grain of salt. Nock is a livecaster. He is a type of reporter and he does things with it that interest him. Honestly, for however annoying he is at the beginning of the book, by the end you love that little guy. Not only is he smart, but his moral compass is true. He really impressed me and I love how Zaarek changes his mind throughout the book regarding him. Nova and the other four men and women that Zaarek saves go onto his ship and things don’t go the way that Z believes they should. Nova is absolutely a unique and resourceful person. She did grow up in the bayou so she knows how to survive. I laughed a lot as she led Z on a merry chase before helping him with the other humans. However, more problems arise in the book that range from “really???” To “OMG what the heck? Are you serious?” I was excited to see some of the other characters from the other books. Things are coming together for a confrontation and it isn’t just the Pandraxians vs the Cryons. I can’t wait for the next book!.

Nova is a survivor. Being stolen by aliens isn’t going to change that and in no way is she going to trust the alien who is claiming to be saving her. She takes off into the wilderness as soon as possible, determined that no one would be possessing her. Zaarek is a Space Guardian who has been tasked with rescuing stolen humans. He rescues Nova and her fellow captives from an auction house but is surprised when she runs from him, convinced she will need rescuing again he sets off after her only to be impressed by her survival skills. When they meet up strange marks appear over both their bodies and Zaarek begins to question his heritage.
This was an engaging story with wonderful world building and strong characters. I haven’t read the series this spins off from but there were enough details given to provide understanding of the history. I liked that despite being fated mates and drawn to each other, Nova and Zaarek didn’t instantly fall in love and needed to find their way to each other. Beginning with grudging respect and reluctant feelings they find their way to being mated. Together they plan on discovering where Zaarek comes from and why his handlers have hidden his memories.
The overarching story will continue in the next book and I’m looking forward to discovering what the mystery about the Space Guardians is. This was a strong start for the series.

I'm not a big fan of Alien romance but I wanted to read this book because I was curious after reading the summary.
And I was pleasantly surprised, I loved this book, the only negative point for my taste is that I found the beginning a little long, but this length that I felt was gradually forgotten as I advanced my reading.
I loved everything about this book: the world-building (which is amazing), the story, the plot, the action, the tension, the romance....
The main characters Zaarek and Nova are fantastic! Nothing is to be left out about them, their stories, their personalities, but also their evolution throughout the story.
The secondary characters are not left out, I found myself liking them a lot because they all bring something to the story. Where often in this kind of book, secondary characters are really in the background, here they have a real place within the story and bring even more susbtance and content.
The tension between Zaarek and Nova is over the top! Despite the fact that they're soul mates, there's no insta-love for these two, but a complex relationship that evolves over the pages.
In conclusion, Bella Blair has succeeded with this book in making me appreciate an alien romance, and I can't wait to find out what's in store for Zaarek and Nova in the next volume.

Guardian’s Heart is quite suspenseful and is definitely a page turning alien romance. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I also didn’t put this book down until I read the last page. Guardian’s Heart is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Bella Blair. Bella Blair continues to prove what an incredible author she is with each book that I have read by her thus far. Guardian’s Heart is the first book in the Space Guardian’s Mate series. Guardian’s Heart follows the story of Zaarek and Nova. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Nova and Zaarek as well as seeing their journey coming to life throughout the book. The chemistry between Nova and Zaarek is undeniably irresistible to where neither one of them couldn’t ignore the feelings that were growing between them. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I love that Nova and Zaarek have a happily ever after with them being happy together as mates. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing alien romances from this series in the future. Guardian’s Heart is most definitely a book that I would give as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

This book was so good! Space Guardian's Heart is the first book in Space Guardian's Mate series and it's such a good beginning. Nova has been taken from Earth with other humans and finds herself on the Auction block. Zaarek is a Space Guardian tased with finding and rescuing humans. He's not happy with the babysitting assignment. Nova is not a wilting flower and before Zaarek nows what's happening she's snuck away and he has to find her. Through finding her and their adventures he discovers she is his fated mate. He also discovers some things about himself. This was a pretty exciting book with action and the MC's coming to know and RESPECT each other. Together they are so much more than they are apart. I loved Nova's sass and independence! And Zaarek's fight against it..and himself. Perfection *chefs kiss*.I loved the growth of both characters but especially Zaarek. Bella Blair drew me into this intricate world that she has peopled with complex characters. I truly enjoyed the book and recommend it without hesitation. 5 stars

Captivating start to series, great characters and start of a new series that promises to be riveting reading
Zaarek is a Space Guardian and they are very well known all around the galaxy and they are feared as they stand no nonsense and seek retribution hen and where needed. Nova has been kidnapped as she was making her way and had ended up on an auction block in front of a group of aliens that wanted her for their own means.
Zaarek knows that he has to rescue Nova but could not have initially known how important she was going to be in his life and he had been amazed when his mating marks had started to itch and a copy had appeared on Nova meaning she was his mate, this was a complete surprise.
I loved the read there were plenty of surprises and the plot keeps you constantly guessing and I guarantee that you will be blown away by this story it’s a great read.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

This storyline ties in with the Pandraxian books but can be read as a standalone.
MMC Zaarek, one of those space guardians is on a mission he despises, saving as many human slaves as he can on the cease pool planet of Morrakharr.
Almost being eaten by an alligator at the age of six can’t quite compare to being abducted from Earth by aliens for human slave MFC Nova.
When she tries to escape from Zaarek who has come to rescue her and the other humans, she fails, but a spicy adventure is about to begin with plenty of angst, intrigue, adventure, action, fated mates, surprises, and passion.
I loved the writing, characters, and narrative of this newest story with perfectly matched Zaarek and Nova heading up the cast of a rip roaring good read!.

Nova was kidnapped by the Cyrons. This species have abducted billions of humans. These humans have been scattered all over the universe. Nova was rescued by Zaarek , a warrior. He has no memory of his past, and species. He is a Space Guardian. He enforces justice for the Ohrurs. He also reports to Minders, and is assigned to missions by them. Nova runs away to the forest. Zaarek finds her, to return her to the ship. Matching mating marks appear on their arms down to their hips. Zaarek does not know what they are. They are on a mission to find out the truth about Zaarek's species and planet. They face enemies, and danger. They also discover their love, and passionate bond. Their romance is a slow burn, but fulfilling! I enjoyed reading this book! The characters were well developed, and realistic. The storyline flowed well.

Okay so, Nova has been abducted. Being a child from Louisiana and almost raised in the swamps she is very resourceful. She'd rather be in the forest of an alien planet than to be out with the locals, and that's saying something. She didn't realize that she was supposed to be getting rescued when she escaped but that's a whole another story. The guardian now has to hunt her down. He is not used to this. But he loves to throw the chase the clothes he gets to her the more resourceful she becomes. Even trapping him to where he's hanging upside down by his ankle. It was hysterical. Caught unawares and then it happens. Mate tattoos! No one had a clue no one even knows what this stuff is but when it's touched by the by the two things get out of hand! Good read. Not sure if they're going to stay in the woods or not but it seems like that is where they are headed! Loved it first of the series.

Nova has had enough of alien abductions, and being pushed around. She's ready to chart her own course and she sees a forest that looks to have perfectly good trees to shelter beneath. She knows how to hunt and survive, so who needs this latest bossy alien?
This done in one kindle unlimited book starts with the importance of communication, and moves on to the power of considering things from someone else's perspective. What makes Nova a stand out as a lead character is her determination to take her skills and strengths and adapt them to alien environments and the universe at large. She sees opportunities instead of obstacles, and along the way this no-nonsense woman shows a compassionate and caring nature she doesn't seem to know she has.

This was a fun read. I enjoyed both of the main characters. She is intelligent, resourceful and resilient. I appreciated that she didn’t just give up and give in. She ran, hid, fought and questioned things. I thought it was funny that he just assumed people kidnapped by an alien race would just know his intentions were honorable and be grateful. The couple does end up being fated mates, but again I like that they didn’t just roll over and declare their love for one another because they matched. They learn to watch, listen and appreciate the other which makes their bond stronger and more believable. The holostreamer adds some good comic relief. This book is part of a series with an overarching storyline. I am anxious to read what happens next.

He isn’t thrilled with the seemingly mediocre job assignment, but his life is about to get a bit more exciting when he meets Nova. She is a strong, independent female character who doesn’t back down. She manages to get away from her rescue and he has to chase her down through the dangerous alien forest. In the midst of their interaction, his mating marks begin to react and the same marks appear on Nova. Is she truly his fated mate? How could this occur? Is there other information he has not been made aware of? Will he be able to convince her that they are meant to be together? Or will she fight him every step of the way?

So I have read kind of the prequel to this story but it is not needed at all to understand what is going on. But this series is wonderful!
Zaarek was a wonderful male. He was protective and accepted Nova as a strong female in her own right. Even if he may not have loved it from the beginning. Nova was a character that had to grow on me. Once she accepted the bond it was much easier, but when she first met Zaarek it was a bit frustrating how she kept refusing to listen to him, because she didn’t trust him. I do get why, but it was a bit frustrating. But she did grow on me and I do love how loyal and tough she is. I’m so looking forward to more of this series so we can learn what really is going on with these space guardians!

I love Bella Blair's world building, and "Guardian's Heart " did not disappoint in that respect. The story is a continuation of the Pandraxian Universe novels. If you haven't read them yet, you may want to do so to get a fuller understanding of the world, but "Guardian's Heart" can be read as a stand-alone.
The author's descriptions of the main characters drew me into the story by making their motivations and behaviors understandable and empathizable. I also loved her depiction of enthusiastic holostreamer Nock. I'm hoping he eventually gets his own book.
The one part of the book I was dissatisfied with was the ending. I found it to be underwhelming. It was also a bit of a cliffhanger, which I'm not fond of.

Zaarek is a Space Guardian and they are feared all over the galaxy. Nova is human and was kidnapped and put on an auction block. Zaarek saves her and she runs from him. The adventure that these two have to go through and it challenges everything that Zaarek knows about his life and his past. I loved all the twists and turns the author put into their adventure and you never knew what was going to happen next. They meet other couples with the same mating marks. I loved all the twists and turns with this story, and the fact we have a plot in the background that keeps you hooked. I cannot wait to see what this new series will bring us but this is defiantly a series I will be following.

This is an exciting series opener and I loved seeing feisty Nova and Space Guardian Zaarek come together. She's been kidnapped from Earth and is on the auction block when Zaarek shows up to liberate her and the other eight humans with her. Of course, things don't go smoothly when she takes off and he has to give chase ;P Expect a ton of action, humour, steam and some mystery as these two soul mates work to figure out Zaarek's past...and learn to love and respect each other. This isn't an insta-love romance and the side characters have huge roles in this story. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book to see how the overarching plot continues to unfold ;D

Zaarek is a Space Guardian who are feared throughout the galaxy and he is not happy at being sent on a babysitting mission to rescue some humans from an auction and take them to Astrionis. When one of the women, Nova, decides to run for it right into the forest, Zaarek follows her. What happens next will change his life and make him question his past. This story has lots of twists and turns and Nova's feistiness makes her no pushover and able to stand up to Zaarek and everyone else. The characters are great, especially Nock and I love the way this series is developing and can't wait to read the next in this series.

I loved this book. I forfeited many hours of sleep in favor of finishing it in one go :D
Nova is the best kind of FMC. Confident, independent, not bending over for a guy just because he's hot and has a great eggplant. I love how she "caught" Zaarek! That was one of the best parts of the book.
Zaarek comes off as a bit too cold and overconfident at the beginning, but given his origin and the plot in general, it makes sense. I liked how he gradually started questioning everything and how he warmed up to Nova, while still finding her infuriating.
Really well written book, can't wait for the next one in the series!

An exciting and adventure filled start to this new series. The author always hooks me in with her descriptive world building and characters to invest in. Nova has been stolen from Earth with other humans and finds herself on an auction block. Zaarek is a Space Guardian assigned to finding and rescuing humans. He is not so thrilled with his job. When Nova escapes him, their story together begins. A great fated mate, better together, suspenseful steamy story with action and intrigue. Looking forward to where this new series takes us.

Although I'm a bit confused about parts of this story, I loved the premise. The idea that there could be galaxies out there with millions of different lifeforms living together. The promise of fate merging worlds and people. The concept that one species would destroy another for power is horrid. The mystery of who, what, where, how, and why is tangled but romantic with soulmates and actual love. The character's are fleshed out well making it easy to see why they are who they are. These two compliment each other so well. I can't wait for the next book!

Zaarek was tasked with rescuing humans from their alien captors. He rescued a group from an auction and us immediately attacked by Nova. As soon as she escaped again Zaarek has to hunt her down leading to a bond neither were prepared for nor wanted. As more questions arise they realize that something bigger is at play and set out to get some answers. The banter between them is fun and the steamy bits are even better. This is the first book in the series but the story sucks you in and I can’t wait for the next book. It ends with a bit of a HEA and a HFN while the mystery is unsolved.

The female main character (FMC) was stubborn—sometimes too stubborn for her own good—but she was also resilient. At first, I didn't like her because I didn't understand why she was running away from her rescuer. Then I realized she didn't know she was being rescued. When he finally caught up with her, things started to get interesting, especially when the mating bond formed. I became hooked on the story and wondered if I had already read the other stories in the series. It turns out that Vraax and Nova were the first stories told about the Darlams. Now, I can't wait for the next installment!.

This is Nova and Zaarek's story and it is highly entertaining. Zaarek is a space guardian who rescues Nova and 8 other humans from an illegal slave auction on an alien planet. Nova however runs from Zaarek and leads him on a wild goose chase through a forest. When he finally catches up to her mysterious marks form on both of them that signal they are mates. This leads to Zaarek to question his origins as he has missing memories from his past. There is questions about who he works for and other mysteries to solve and as I said before it is a highly entertaining tale. I recommend you check it out!.

Nova has been stolen from earth and is being sold along with other humans, when Zaarek a Space Guardian liberates them. There is something hinkey about Zaarek's employment, in part as he doesn't seem to get paid, also his lack of memories before he was 20.
Not everything is at it appears. This story has intrigue, trust issues, slavery/trafficking, bad guys, good guys, and a very excitable space tele vlogger.
i recommend this book as it is a promising start to a space alien series.

But before the buyers get a chance to bid, in walks Zaarek , an alien Space Guardian. That starts an exciting and hilarious space romp, conspiracy filled romance. I loved the animosity between the two when they initially met. Nova was fierce and determined, just what Zaarek needed to spin out of control. Secondary characters added even more action to the book and I can’t wait for the next book.

Lovely Space Guardians Romance!!
A robust, satisfying read! Equal parts survival, backstory and fated mates romance. Nova is from the Louisiana swamps and can basically hold her own. A bit harder when you are taken by aliens and on a strange planet. Zaarek is sent to rescue the humans, but the humans don’t exactly know that yet.
Makes for entertaining, action-packed and other-worldly situations. Highly recommend this!
