Contains season 2 of the manhwa - a Little Bit weaker than season 1, but loved it the same.
I really enjoyed the time skip, characters are adults now and going strong! Heartwarming to see were life got them. Something healed inside of me when they met again. ❤️
I would’ve wished for more moments between Yoon Joon-young and Beomjin, less about the other dude. But it was okay. And juuuust a teeny tiny bit more spice. 🤭
Will reread it for sure. ❤️ Every week I’ve refreshed the page, eagerly waiting for the new chapter.
thier story in high school was a lot more interesting. When they grow up, their story just gets a lot more generic, I fear.
Also, the fact that their feelings remained intact after no communication for 10 years felt a little hard to believe.Add to the fact I thought they were in thier early/mid 20s not 30s bc they are exactly the same as thier teenager selves like where the chatcter development. it's giving they peaked in high school
I get it was for the sake of the plot, but it could have been better done. Also, seoung( however you spell that mummy's boy name) remained a creep.
The story was cute, quick read, but nothing groundbreaking. Very basic plot with pretty one-dimensional characters !
Arghh they are so cute. Need more their sweet scenes. I hate Na seungwoon and his mother with all of my heart. They got married. ARGHHHH. Can't wait for the manhwa version to be completely.
3.5! The story itself was okay, I prefer the beginning when they were in high school, but the whole business company drama just might not be my thing. Yun JunYeong has to be one of my favourite female leads! Despite what she’s went through and the way people with influence treat her, she’s not a pushover at all. Even to the male lead Kwon BeomJin who tried to distance himself from her at first, I like that she didn’t just deal with it and go cry about it alone but actually stood up for herself and what she wants. The ending for the two was sweet, unlike some other couples I can confidently say that the main couple in this was truly meant for each other! Is it weird for me to want Na SeungEun to also get his happy ending, however that may be? Although he was a bit messed up with his obsession of JunYeong he was also put in an unfortunate place of having no control over his life as a pawn for his mother to get more power within the company. After a little bit of therapy at least, I think he’s also deserving of a more fulfilling life. As they mentioned in the story, SeungUn is very modest and polite and down to earth. Unless that was a manipulation tactic that I’m falling for lol 😅 I wish we could also see more in depth about the kind of person BeomJin was and what he went through, like why he’s always sleeping and what were his parents like! To the end he remains sort of mysterious. Although the plot was a bit surface level it was overall a decent story with some well written characters that had beautiful development! The art for the manhwa was also so good!!
Even more emotional, more mature, and heartbreakingly beautiful. This season took the story to another level. The characters development felt real and raw. The emotional conflicts were more intense, and the themes of regret, timing, and vulnerability really stood out. The emotional tension hurts in the best way. The romance becomes more layered, with heart-wrenching moments and soft, fleeting happiness that makes it all the more powerful. It hurts and heals at the same time. It was heartfelt, emotional, and unforgettable. I loved every second of reading this, one of the best manhwa I’ve ever read. 🥹❤️
I love it. This second book told about YoonJung and BeomJin story when they were adult. God! BeomJin visual so HOT (according to manhwa version). I fell in love with BeomJin character here about how he cared and put YoonJung as his number one. YoonJung was still like her as always, somehow it made her funny and loveable. I was a bit disappointed with the ending for villain (the one who had crush with YoonJung / I forgot his name). It felt ambiguous. And the epilogue, I wished the author would make it longer, I wanted to see them having a baby. 😭
This was a bit weaker than volume 1, mostly because it felt quite rushed at times - pacing was off.
I still loved Junyeong, she was refreshingly straightforward, so this and the level of the art kept me going (no "what are we even looking at here" situations 😂).
I'm also generally not a big fan of time skips, but I feel like it worked really well in this case.
whatever guys i don’t even care. I DONT EVEN CARE whatever. BEOMJIN WOULD JUST NEVER EVER ACT LIKE THAT POST REUNION BTW but whatever. the time skip ruined the manhwa sorry s1 was so good and so well done and then it became a business drama with legitimately one of the most annoying and creepy 2nd leads i’ve ever seen. their relationship was pretty cute though i guess
ragazzi sono stata incollata allo schermo per due notti… first season chef kiss fr & second season was too rushed!! i wanted them to return to their shared home at least 😭😭😭
I am so glad I decided to read this. I loved the story so much as well as the characters. I'm gonna miss them. I finished this so quickly. I love it so much T-T
Cute ending too.
This story shows that even if the right person comes at the wrong time, if they’re truly meant for you, the time will eventually become right… even if it takes thirteen years... 💗
JoonYeon me touche énormément.
