Three friends, all of them are attracted to and/or in love with each other, but neither of them dares to act on it in fear they’d ruin the great friendship they have.

The story was light and hot! The ending rushed a little bit, everything wrapped up too easily. I wish it was longer.

(This gif has not much to do with the characters or the story, other than it is also a threesome; it’s just way too sweet not to put it here. ;))

My favorite quotes.

Wow! That was one hot read! I love stories about couples who are friends first...being friends first works especially well in short reads. It makes it so much more believable when they finally get together.

I really loved that Melody was this beautiful and athletic woman--some may call her a tom boy--she could charm the pants off any man with a sexy look one minute and kick his ass on the basketball court the next minute. Love it!!

I sometimes have a problem with short reads because they typically lack character development and the story often suffers because it is too rushed. I did not feel that way with this story. I thought the authors did a great job focusing on what was important and didn't litter the story with a lot of unnecessary details. I really thought it was fantastic. I cannot wait to see what Team Cole/Chase has in store for us next.

Thank you guys for this copy of Three to Tango. It really was spectacular!

4 1/2 This was a truly fun read with great banter and closeness between the characters and one I can easily recommend for its likable characters alone. I loved the fact that Jace & Melody were best friends long before Alec enters the picture. Many a menage fails for me because the relationships seem forced or all sex, all the time. This one felt genuine. Only thing is, the sex wasn't nearly as lengthy (or explicit) as I'm used to when reading m/m or even some m/f. Ah wells, I just want it all ;)

So this was a sweet, sexy little read. Jace and Melody have been BFFs for forever. Jace is gay. They took in a third to help with rent, and both have decided to go after him -- Jace thinking Alec is straight. Almost immediately, we learn Alec is bi, but neither Jace nor Melody knows this. And he doesn't want to screw up what he thinks is the best living relationship he's been in by going for either one of them, even though he was attracted to both from the beginning. Once he realizes they are into him, he decides they all need to be together. (Oh, and Alec thinks that Jace and Melody love each other more than friends, but have just been repressing it.) So begins a delicate dance of lust, trying not to ruin a decades long friendship, but trying to get everyone what they want/need. And I think it was done very well. I'm sure plenty of girls who have gorgeous gay BFFs have wondered if maybe, just maybe, they could have sex, lol. I doubt that it's very common for the gay guy to ACTUALLY have feelings for the girl. Gay is gay. But hey, if guys can repress their homosexual selves, maybe gay guys can repress hetero feelings as well? Anyhoo... it was a cute story. Lots of sex, including m/m.

I was so excited to dive into Three To Tango. I find reading co-written works a breath of fresh air and enjoy reading the banter that can arise. This heartfelt story appeased my need for a well written and simply wonderful story. It's clear that the two authors understand the intricate dynamics of friendship and how rocking the boat can hurt rather than help.
Mel is a great herione who takes the bull by it's horns. Or rather the two bulls by their cocks. Sorry I couldn't help myself. The emotion she evoked out of Jace brought me to tears. I felt her terror of what if this doesn't work, will I lose it all and is it worth the risk.
Jace sweet, talented, sexy Jace. I loved his quiet strentgh and the bond he'd formed with his Mel. Man do I want to include spoilers. I'll refrain. His character moved me. I loved his profession and that he worked with others who were in need really upped the notch in the perfect hero for my tastes. The balcony...Such emotion....a kalidescope of doubt, hurt and anger. It made me breathless.
Alec. I'd watch him play basketball anyday and lick the sweat off his body. I thought he might go both ways but wasn't sure, just how far. That he acknowledged the long term friendship in his roomates and didn't act on his attraction spoke spades for his character. I do have to say the game they played was a highlight in my book and moved the story to a great crescendo. The emotional aspects of this story would've stood alone and rocked with and without the passionate intimacy scenes within it. This story will be one for the list of favorites.

This was a very good story. I liked Alec, Jace and Melody and their story was enjoyable and well done for the length of the story.

Melody is a professional volleyball player and lives in a house with her best friend, Jace, who teaches and completes professionally in Ballroom dancing. Jace is also gay. Jace and Melody been best friends since they were 8 years old and have never let anything or anyone come between them. At one point, Jace and Melody decide they could use some extra cash and decide to rent out the 3rd bedroom in the house. This brings Alec, who works in landscaping, in as a roommate.

The 3 quickly become friends and like their living situation but after 6 months, both Jace and Melody are having trouble avoiding their attraction for Alec. They decide to agree they can both go after Alec (in the form of a bet) and may the best person win (with no hard feelings). With this agreement between them, Melody and Jace aim their seduction at Alec. Alec notices the change in attitude from his friends and he's not sure what to do about it as he's attracted to them both and has come to care for them both as well. He overhears them discussing the bet and decides he's going to see if he can get the 3 of them together as a threesome, especially since he sees a lot of denied emotions and attraction between Jace and Melody. Things work out but not without a bit of drama and confusion as things get settled. The story ends with the threesome together and starting towards their HEA.

I enjoyed this story very much. I liked Jace, Alec and Melody and liked the dynamic of them when they were together. It also helped that there was some established relationships going in so the story could grow from there. I can't think of any real complaints about the story and I ended it with a happy/upbeat vibe. I'd recommend this story. Thumbs up. :)

This story is too cute. It's like a favorite sit com except you get to see an actual boink fest. My sitcom title would be Will and Grace Makes a Porno. The easy banter between Jace, Melody and Alec just endear you to all of them. Almost makes you want to be a part of their inner circle of friends.

This is such a realistic relationship. I was thinking Melody is a woman so foine she can make a gay man get a woody worthy enough for a gay man. Now that's a fine piece of tail! LMAO! There was also a scene that described THE most erotic kiss I have ever read about.

This story was way too sexy and short. I want more!!!!

A review for The Romance Reviews.

THREE TO TANGO was like a breath of fresh air to me. The perfect blend of realism and fantasy, it was a sensual feast that I could have dined on forever.

I had such a great time reading this story that I was so sad to see it end. I think if I had known I would devour it so quickly, I may have slowed down a bit to make it last it bit longer! It boasts a time-honored plot--friends to lovers--but has a menage twist.

Melody and Jace are BFF's. He's gay, she's straight. She's had an unrequited crush on him for years, but she's finally come to terms with the fact that they will never be more than best friends. Enter Alec, their new and very hot roommate. He fits in perfectly with the pair, and they are both halfway in love with him. So, what are friends to do when they lust for the same man...why, bet each other, of course. And when it comes to light that Alex wants both Melody and Jace, well, then the real fun begins.

I also enjoyed the dialogue between the characters, it was funny, witty, and I could just imagine three friends having the same type of back and forth banter. The book was co-authored by Chloe Cole and L.C. Chase, and I could sense that having the two authors writing this story, lent to that aspect of the dialogue.

Now, with all these "not just friendly" feelings coming to light in the story, I'm sure you can imagine that sexual tension was in abundance, and you would be right. The sensual by-play between the characters made me more than a little hot under the collar. And their sexual chemistry was off the charts. When they finally all came together, I think it was obvious that their menage was meant to be.

But, it wasn't easy falling into bed together. There was a lot of self-doubt and scared feelings especially when faced with the possibility of ruining a good friendship and a great living relationship. I think that the authors illustrating that lent to the realism of the overall story.

My only complaint about the whole story is that it ended too soon! What happened next? I would have loved to see how things played out with the trio on the morning after so to speak.

But overall, it was a fantastic contemporary menage, with a believable plot, engaging dialogue, and extremely erotic love scenes. I loved every minute of reading it and was truly sad to see it end.

I feel compelled to say that even though I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I hate the cover. This book is about three people in their mid-twenties. The cover makes them look like they are fifteen. Considering the content is about their foray into a ménage relationship the apparent age of the cover models feels inappropriate to me.

Beyond that the writing was wonderful. The characters individual personalities well-developed. Their emotional connection and sexual chemistry felt real and very intense. The sex was steamy and the banter enjoyable. A short, quick read that tells a full story of the relationship of these three people. And no cliffhanger! Yay!!

This is yet another novella that needed to be a full length book. There were too many details that needed to be explored more fully. Especially the 'straight for you' element. And this is another one where the MMF came in at the last second and there was nowhere near enough about the relationship itself. The story is okay, nothing amazing, but nothing really bad either. Although I am not a fan of the kind of bet Mel and Jace make. Not when the feelings of another person are at stake. Not to mention they're roommates and it would screw up the entire dynamic they had going.

Although short (I think), this was a fun, hot read. A little different than most menages in that none of the three were together as a couple. That was nice. Jace and Melody are very close friends from childhood and Alec is their roomie. How they develop their relationship together is humorous, touching and sad at one point. A really great read that I highly recommend. The authors are new to me but I am definitely checking out their books!

I really liked all three characters: Melody as a strong woman, happy with herself and life; Jace as a good friend to Mel, considerate and charming; and Alec, slightly bemused but happy with his bi-sexuality.

And it was good how they all came together - even though Mel and Jace were really bothered about their long-standing friendship.

A good, sappy HEA menage - what more could you want!

First let me say that I did like this book however it was short and it had a lot of miss understandings in it. I don't understand why they couldn't just sit down and talk about what they wanted from each other and the book ended after they all had sex without talking or letting the reader me knowing what happened in the relationship.

I was actually concerned how exactly the author was going to transition it from being a two person relationship into a ménage, but the way it was handled was great!

Character Reviews:
Overall I loved how the author transitioned from each character, and even though the book is quite short we were able to somehow bond with the characters and instantly know who's POV it was.
Mel-
She was if anything my favorite character. The way she just let her emotions take her, and the limits she goes to make her own self happy is kind of inspiring to see. She didn't consider her and Jace as anything that could be more then friends, but once Alec recommended it the desires she'd been holding in for years all flooded out.
Jace-
He was the one I felt took most to persuade, and he somehow let his feelings get In the way, but Mel and Alec needed those feelings so that they could act upon them. I also loved how he was a dancer and the novel included that huge part in his life- and it was just a way he could also cope.
Alec-
Now the man who put it all together! I feel like he didn't have too many clear traits besides the fact he was bisexual and he wanted all three of them to be in a threesome relationship. Besides that we know he also loves to play sports... Yeah. I wish we got to know a bit more from this character.

My Quick Thoughts:
- I loved the way that they made the relationship between them play out even if they had broken Jace's heart for a second there I wouldn't have it any other way.

Overall:
A great book about a ménage relationship. :)

This wasn't unenjoyable.

Characters were fleshed out enough.

I liked all of them.

I laughed at yet another Volleyball story (well, one of the characters was a professional Volleyball player) entered my life as I am in the middle of an actual Volleyball centric story.

All in all.. hot quick read.

5 menage a trois stars!

hey, this is how every menage a trois relationship should begin with. because in fact, it is not easy as what common menage book wrote about.

there is also a gay man turned into a bi here. i look everywhere for this kind of theme, and no luck. but stumbled upon this with no expectation at all.

for such a novella, this one sure full of baggage to tell. from bff turns into lover till a not so straight man come out as bi. the plot is not much, but it detailed to every possibility of three way relationship been and every emotion that should come along with. a must read!

well, only a little flaw there where i feel Jace is a different guy at several time. he could be a metro gay man that charm panty of girls, could be a dom gay man that command even a straight guy to their knee, and could be that flirty twinks that made my toenails curling. nah, i dont think those three could be in one person.

This free novella (on Amazon) was really cute read. There seems to be a spate of books out with the 'you discover you're in love with your best friend' theme (I'm reading three in a row to compare them), This was the most outrageous of the ones I've read so far, but I decided to take it in the spirit of fun and just enjoy the competitive fun of the book between Mel, Alec, and Jase (I don't for a minute believe that Jase, a gay man, especially one who has been gay all his life, will all of a sudden find the idea of sex with Mel, a life-long best friend and woman intriguing. All my gay friends would think, ewwww). There was no great character development, or major plot beyond the one in the blurb, but this one gets it's rating because it was just plain fun.

This was a hot read about 3 roommates who all have the hots for each other but none were willing to make the first move. Then, a bet led to so much more!

This book has it all. We have m/f romance, a m/m romance and some m/m/f romance or would it be m/f/m? They mix it all up in every which way!

Chloe Cole did a good job of telling a great story in a short book. I felt the emotional ties between them and the sex was HOT!

Holy yumminess on a cracker.
I don't read many ménage stories, and not because I'm against or don't like reading those, I just don't know many and rarely encounter a good one.
This is a good one.
Cole and Chase did a great job collaborating here, to the point where I couldn't tell the voices apart. All three characters were sweet, sexy as hell (duh) and compelling.
And did I already mention it's hot? The sex, the teasing and the banter... Loved it.

Most times when I read a MMF romance, I feel as though the MF part is just an after thought. This did a bit of a better job, integrating all aspects of this threesome. The only reason this received 3 stars instead of 4 is because I have a hard time believing that a gay man just now realizes that he is attracted to a woman he has been around since childhood. Other than that this was a pretty good, quick and hot read.

This was a cute story and very sexy, if a little unrealistic. But hey, isn't that why we read fiction anyways? Jace and Mel were great personalities and Alec was smokin' hot, but I was a little disappointed with the way the book ended.
