The second in the Kate Dean & Co genealogical mysteries, in which Kate gets to the bottom of a family feud that has passed down generations, whilst having to deal with a family crisis of her own. Dave and Vicky, her two best friends, muck in as usual ... and Kate also benefits from some, let's say, less ordinary sources of support ...
OK, Julie Wilson has me hooked. Her novellas are quirky, humorous, and charming. It would be nice if she were to write a genuine novel length book with these characters.
Genealogist researches what happened to a child who disappeared from a family but has no death record, while dealing with her own family problems. Well-written and held my interest -- only wish it had been longer or that there were more to read!
There were only a few pages of genealogy the rest being devoted to stupid unlikely family melodrama. It was totally a waste of my time, which I do have plenty of.
