EVERY WITCH WAY BUT CURSED is the seventeenth installment in the Magical Misfits Mysteries series by K.E. O'Connor. As always, the plot is excellent with interesting characters, humor, and some unexpected twists and turns. This is a fun series to read with magical mysteries, murders and strange happenings.

Juno's treat of a spa retreat for her friends is cut short when she gets a strange message from Granny Dottie in Willow Tree Falls telling him to "enjoy the spa" and "There’s trouble brewing". Then suddenly, Wiggles, the mini hellhound, calls in a panic and saying Tempest is missing. From there every thing turns upside down. At home, one of Randall's visiting friends is dead and people's magic is going wonky. When Tempest shows up, Juno feels something is "off" about her. With Zandra watching over Tempest, Juno and Finn start investigating what happened to Randall's friend. 

Get ready to find out if Juno and Finn can solve this murder?  Will they find out what is out of sorts with Tempest - and what trouble is brewing in Willow Tree Falls?

I enjoyed reading this story. The core characters are back, along with some new ones to gather you into the tale. There is more than one mystery going on and the plot quickly gets you involved trying to solve them. It's a roller coaster of a book!

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this tale and just had to add it to my library. I can definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good book.

Strange occurrences

Things just aren’t making much sense. People, and even things, are not behaving like they should. A bar fight for no reason, a murder no one can explain, appliances that are out of wack, and Zandra’s sister’s name written in the dirt. Strange, right?
This was another great book in the series and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Amazing as always.

Perfect! I love the characters. I love tempest and Zandra and I love the hellhound and hell kittens. She has such an amazing way of making her characters lovable and her stories unable to be put down. Now I have to patiently wait until March for the next book.
