Ever forgotten someone's name, where you left your car or your keys, or just why you went to a room, to get something or to look for something only not to be able to recall what it was when getting there? Then this is the book for you.
It is such a pleasure to listen to Darren Brown: his voice is clear, warm honied, beautifully paced, interesting and often humorous, too. In this 'bootcamp' exploring memory and the mind, he calls on numerous other people, experts in the field or witnesses to recurring problems, to offer their story in this most tantalising of topics. Anecdotes and information. Superb. I didn't want it to end. Fascinating and just possibly helpful.
This was a fun bootcamp. A good overview of memory and an exploration of all the key areas. It's quite surface level, so it's very easy to consume (if you did a Psychology degree like me, you'll know a lot of it). But the production is fun and it was nice hearing everyone's input. I always enjoy Derren Brown's work.
