I really enjoy this author’s writing but she’s hardly ever safe. In this story, the h loses her virginity to the H but then she leaves the next morning without saying goodbye.
The h experiences all kinds of things including domestic abuse, and God knows what else with OM. In the meantime the H sleeps with OW during the 5 year separation (don’t quote on the exact time).
Basically they both have meaningless relationships or sex (however you want to look at it) just to end up together? (I didn’t read the end though. For all you know, they don’t end up together… 😳)

Again, this author’s writing skills are great but I just wish she was a bit more safe. Anyway, it’s just not for me but perhaps it’s good for others.

Not one of my favorites, but a very good reading nevertheless. Freya had secrets that kept her from her brother - the very first one to leave her in the hands of a rapist and a killer - and Ruckus needed to gain some sense before being ready to admit his feelings. Those guys really prefer to have blood up their necks than admit their feelings...
What I felt that could have been better was Freya's lack of confidence in speaking with anyone about what she had felt and endured. The book was fast paced, although Drew was treated as an after thought most of it...

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: brother's best friend
Angst: 😱😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

If you're looking for something dark and angsty, you can't really go wrong with Emma Creed, she always manages to deliver. This one pulled you in from page one and didn't want to let you go - the tension between Ruckus and Freya was cranked to a thousand. Lots of action and twists and turns kept me glued to the end. Each one of the books in this series has winded up on my "best of" list and Ruckus has earned his own spot - can't wait to see what's next!

I’ve read a few reviews that say this one isn’t their favorite and I don’t get it because I this one was my absolute favorite so far out of this series! I loved Ruckus and Freyas story the angst hurt so good the tension had me hanging on and turning the pages to see what happened next ! One of the things I love most about a Emma Creed story is that she is not afraid for her characters getting down and dirty I LOVED the sex scenes in here they weren’t afraid to show the sexuality and passion for one another and they Emma writes those spicy scenes has me fanning myself because hot damn were they hot! I can’t wait for more in this series! Definitely recommend and definitely a five star read for me!

I will leave, because the ghosts of my past just won’t stay buried.

A flip of a coin can change everything.
And, brings you back to the one who holds your heart.

Sometimes, if you want something badly enough, you’ll believe anything.

Running away with the travelling show was Freya's only escape, but with the glitz of the show comes an underlying danger and now she’s back in her hometown with the past standing before her. All tall, brooding and fearless Ruckus can see past the mask and her eyes are baring her broken soul for him to save.

With events of the past still haunting her, Freya’s reluctant to accept help from her family. However, Freya can see the changes within the club now her father is no longer there to inflict his wicked ways anymore.

Even after all this time, Freya’s eyes still follow Ruckus every time he enters the clubhouse and those feelings from that night are starting to come alive again…and it seems the feeling is mutual.

“How long have you been waiting for me to touch you again princess?”

She was always the spoiled princess, the party girl who didn’t care and Freya was the only girl Ruckus couldn’t touch…yet one night changed everything between them and now she’s back in his life.

The years have changed her, slowly though Freya bite is coming back and tempting Ruckus’s loyalty to his best friend. Like a bad penny, all those feelings are coming back stronger than ever before.

The club may be turning itself around but the danger still lurks behind the scenes and even rats creep on the sidelines waiting for the opportunity to strike.

Damn Freya Adams, and the decisions she has me making.

Another Soul to add to your MC bookboyfriends!

I really enjoyed Ruckus & Freya’s story. We already knew that Freya left and now we get the real reasons for why she did, including her night with Ruckus. It was interesting how their connection was changed with their feelings having that one night together. But, in true fashion Emma drags us in further when we find out even more going on from Freya’s past…then again given her daddy dearest it’s no surprise but still…

Ruckus is in a tricky situation given who Freya’s brother is and doesn’t want to cause anymore drama with his club's brothers…but the heart wants what the heart wants…

This Long Beach club is really starting to come together now, you can see those family bonds forming and how the women are also coming into their own now which keeps the Souls on their biker boots toes! Then with the ongoing situations unfolding and new events happening there is plenty to keep you wanting more!

“I thought you hated me?”

“I hated the idea of you. Of having another thing I could lose.”

If you love a motorcycle club romance that’s raw, passionate, and packed with danger, *Ruckus* is an absolute must-read. This book grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go, delivering a perfect balance of action, emotion, and forbidden love that will leave you breathless.

In this 3rd installment of the Dirty Souls MC spinoff world, we find ourselves back in Long Beach. With Raze and Wraith revamping the DSMC to the way the original 12 wanted it and Cliff out of the picture, Ruckus and Freya are thrust back into the world she so desperately tried to hide from. When Freya ran away to join the circus (Stunt group)—not for the thrill, but to escape a brutal past and protect a love she was never supposed to have. With an abusive father acting as the boogey man in the shadows and a war brewing in the MC world she left behind, she’s spent years in hiding. But danger has a way of finding her, and she’s pulled right back into the life she tried to escape.

Ruckus, her older brother’s best friend, has spent years suppressing his feelings for the one woman he could never have. But when she reappears, all bets are off. The tension between them is electric, and as the danger around them escalates, so does their undeniable passion.
**What Makes *Ruckus* a Standout Read?**
🔥 **Perfectly Executed Best Friend’s Little Sister Trope:** The forbidden attraction between them is intense, making every moment charged with emotion and heat.

🏍 **Authentic MC World-Building:** The gritty, high-stakes atmosphere of the club is woven seamlessly into the story. From the brotherhood to the rivalries, every element feels real and immersive.

💥 **Non-Stop Action & Suspense:** There’s never a dull moment. The story keeps you on edge with unexpected twists, high-stakes confrontations, and a dangerous game of survival.

💔 **Emotional Depth & Strong Character Development:** Both the hero and heroine have compelling backstories that add layers to their characters. Their struggles, their growth, and their love story make for an emotional rollercoaster that hits just right.

👑 **A Heroine You’ll Root For:** She’s not just a damsel in distress—she’s fierce, resilient, and willing to fight for herself and those she loves.

**Final Verdict:**
*Ruckus* is everything you want in an MC romance—dangerous, passionate, and utterly addictive. With flawless pacing, intense chemistry, and a story that keeps you hooked, it’s an absolute **5-star** ride. Get ready to fall in love with Ruckus and the world he fights to protect.

Holy moly is the third book in the Dirty Souls MC: Long Beach Charter a humdinger! This story is about Ruckus and Freya and is split into different timeframes that all come together to explain an intricately plotted storyline.

I absolutely loved this book and how it is different from the others, once again showing how talented this author is to be able to write a new story yet include existing characters and events—brilliantly done.

Freya is quite sassy but she uses this attitude to hide some deeply hidden trauma. That Cliff, her dreadful father and ex-president of the club was such a disgrace of a human being and just when you think he can’t do anything else to make you feel revolted, he does! It’s remarkable how a fun-loving yet extremely caring young woman like Freya could be related to Cliff! 😳

Ruckus is a bit different from how I thought he was from reading the previous two books. I always liked him, and although I wanted to give him a clip under the ear a time or two, I still think he’s a great character who has an amazing capacity to care about others.

Together these two leading characters are dynamite, and even though they are supposed to dislike each other, their chemistry says otherwise.

The suspense element is outstanding and, as usual, there is more going on than just one element. There are some incredible surprises, and to be frank, not all are so good. 😢 My heart broke in a few scenes because the whole setup in each was so well written. Fair warning, you might need some tissues handy.

Next up is Dev’s story and by the little bit of teasing at the end I think it sounds extremely interesting indeed!

This is the third installment in the spinoff series of the Dirty Souls MC in Long Beach. From past books we know how rancid the club had become due to some members and that they were involved in human trafficking. That was all put to a stop and only members that had no idea and weren’t loyal to Cliff survived. Ruckus was one of those members. He is/was best friends with Wraith who is Cliff’s son, and he also watches out for Freya - Wraith’s little sister. The two of them bicker all of the time.

No one knows how much Freya suffered while with her father. The secrets come out slowly and it’s a little frustrating that she doesn’t speak up quicker, but she really lacks confidence after all that she’s been through. In the other books we were told Freya ran away with the circus (actually a motorcycle daredevil show), and I’ve been dying to get to know her. Before she runs away from her father and home she decides she wants one night of fun that she chooses. Somehow she has that one night with Ruckus.

Fast forward 5 years and Freya is being harmed by her boyfriend and Ruckus sees it and takes her home. From there we have a lot of dancing around feelings, lust, lies, secrets, and guilt. It’s a fast paced read and contains action, angst, sadness, romance, smut and humor. I did really cry at one part, totally not fair but I can see where the author is going so I forgive her 😂.

Hang onto your cuts, Emma leads us headfirst into the next installment of our Long Beach boys- Ruckus and Freya. This story is best friend’s little sister mixed with a very healthy dose of “touch her and I’ll hand you your last breath”. Freya is Wrath’s little sister, who ran away years ago to join the circus and put some distance between herself and the club. But Ruckus has never forgotten about her, and when things start getting really crazy, he and Wrath have to find her and drop some awful truths. What follows next is a whirlwind.

Throughout this story, we are introduced to some new characters, as well as some very interesting developments. I won’t say too much for fear of spoilers… because there is SOOO MUCH I could say!!!

One of the things I love about the Dirty Souls books is how Emma ties them all together- right along with our Corrupt Cowboys series. This really deepens the level of “family” and “loyalty” that you take away from all these books. I love how the characters all tie together throughout these series. Highly recommend Ruckus if you are a fellow lover of Emma’s books!

I received an advance review copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

I cannot get enough of the Lost Souls MC. I loved Colorado and now Long Beach is an upcoming favorite. We finally get to know Freya, the daughter of Cliff who ran off to join the circus. She is tough and sassy with deep wounds that she covers up.

Ruckus had not been a real favorite of mine. He was very much a love em' but no strings ever. We finally get their backstories. Emma Creed did not disappoint. She knows how to keep the readers on edge, with their mouths open one minute and in tears the next. I love that we get bits from their pasts. It helps to understand who they are. The secrets unfold slowly but not too slowly. I was chomping at the bit. I really love how these characters feel like real people. This is because this author develops the characters full and also the world they live in. Each book is a dive into another character. Dev is up next. Let's go...

SERIOUSLY?!
Y'all.... Emma didn't pull any punches with this one. It's dramatic, full of angst, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Relationships are tested. Nothing is off limits. Ruckus and Freya have a deep history, and when they come back into each other's lives, it's explosive. So much is happening, and it's not just between them. What does go one between them, though, it's....wow. They're made for each other. They have a slight enemies to lovers dynamic that makes their time together even better. They fight each other, and fight their own feelings. And given who Freya is, Ruckus is caught between giving in, and feeling like he's betrayed the man closest to him. The whole story has twists and turns, and keeps you guessing. Their relationship isn't easy. It's fought hard for, and they have to push each other to the limit to get what they want. There's so many outside forces in the way, but these two are determined.

Another fantastic book in this series. I love Ruckus and Freya's story and what a story it is. This author loves to gut you with her stories but she never leaves you there, she always makes the end worth the anguish. Freya had a horrific childhood being raised by her father who was the president of the MC. He was a monster and he made sure that she saw what he did to others so she would never cross him or end up like them. Ruckus joined the MC club when he was a teenager. He grew up with Freya but had no idea how bad her home life was. He always considered her the presidents princess so they always clashed until one night changed it all. This story was gut wrenching, suspenseful, action filled, lots of angst, steam but woven through it all was love. I love that this author tells the couples story but also woven into it is always others story as well. I absolutely loved this book and definitely recommend the series.

This is the 3rd in the series. This was about Ruckus and Freya. Freya’s father was Cliff who was the leader of the souls. She grew up with him and her younger sister Willow. Willow had a different mother and one day she was just gone. Freya did everything she could to protect Willow. Freya ended up leaving to get away from Cliff and the club. He was not a good man. She traveled with a traveling stunt show. She started dating Drew who was a member of the show along with his brother Josh. Drew was great to her at first and a few years in that changed. One day her brother and Ruckus went to the show to deliver bad news to her. Drew showed up and pushed her inside the trailer they lived in. She looked at Ruckus and looked at him. He ended up leaving with her brother. He couldn’t take it and went back for her. She was hurt and Ruckus got mad. She left with him. There was a lot that happened after this. Can’t wait to continue the series.

Freya is back with the Souls, as the daughter of the previous Prez and the sister of the current one. she's struggling to find her place, after being in a violent relationship. On top of the treatment she had as a child from her evil and corrupt father and her cronies, she has a lot to unpack.
Ruckas has long felt a connection to Freya, but as the sister of his best friend and current Prez, she's forbidden to him. But now she's back, vulnerable and strong angry and soft and her snark is calling to him.
But dark things have been happening to the Long Beach Souls, and their rivals are not letting it go. As friends become villains, and enemies become friends will Freya and Ruckas make it together?
With many intricate plot lines interwoven throughout, this book was compelling reading, and yet more evidence why Emma Creed is one of my must-read authors. I LOVED this book!

This book was heart wrenching, heart breaking and soul destroying. To say I cried and cried and cried is a massive understatement. Emma Creed, the Lost Souls MC series is one of the best that I have read and no matter how many books you churn out I will never tire of reading them or tire of the absolutely amazing characters you have created. I love how your books don’t just focus on the main characters in the story but all the characters have a say in how the story develops and progresses. Ruckus and Freya are a volatile combination and as such you know they will have a very long and rocky road ahead of them but the Lost Souls never give up and they always pave their way in life. The emotions are gritty, raw and very real but that is what we have come to expect from Emma Creed and the Lost Souls MC.

The Past That Just Keeps on Giving!

Have I told y’all how diabolical Ms. Creed is lately? Well, for the record she is DIABOLICAL! We pick up with our resident manwh*re, Ruckus, and wild child Freya. But IS she really a wild child, or just another victim of circumstances? These two have been bickering for years, but that’s what makes their story so “real-life.” This story is going to tug at your heartstrings, while also raise your heart rate. We get to reminisce over some beloved brothers from the CO chapter as well as visit with a few! There’s a few storms brewing and while we get to the bottom of a couple we’ll have to wait and see what happens with the couple that are left. This is a must read and you do not want to miss out!

Ruckus has for years had a thing for Wrath's younger sister, Freya. One time five years ago they crossed the line, he made her his, but she was gone in the morning before he awoke. He tried to forget her for years but when she shows up in town with traveling stunt crew, he goes with Wrath to see her. He goes back later that night to see her, the man she is with has hit her again, he is not letting her stay, she is coming back to the club.

There was a lot of angst in the story, some to do with the relationship with the main characters, some to do with former club president and the damage he did to the club and his family. This is a great addition do the Dirty Souls MC universe. I cannot wait for her next book.

The 3rd instalment from the Long Beach Charter of our favourite MC.This book has some ups and down and surprises that we are used to from the main series and as a continuation of a spin of series it doesn’t disappoint. Whereas in my opinion the plot of the book strongly fills in gaps from the past events of characters the ongoing storyline of current events is slow going.
Honestly this would have been 5 stars but there were a lot of errors in especially in last few chapters (ebook version) almost as if proofreading was skipped. Other than spelling errors, wrong character names were used, irritating and ruining the flow of the book so I hope for physical copies of the book this is sorted.

disappointed with this one

I have read all Emma Creed books! And I love them all until I read this one. I found myself skipping thru a lot of this book. I couldn’t connect with the fmc at all. She was so weak and stupid! Ugh. I can’t even understand how Ruckus fell in love with her. There wasn’t anything about her that I could be like that’s why he loves her. Nothing at all! She wasn’t strong like the other fmc! Ruckus in the other hand was amazing!! He was the perfect MMC!! I hope the next one is better! I only gave it 2 stars because I got to read on all the other characters!

It's time again to visit the Long Beach charter of the Dirty Souls. There is danger everywhere as Ruckus is helping rebuild the charter. The Souls are reeling from recent events. It seems every where you turn more secrets are uncovered.
Freya is back. She ran away long ago but no one knows the reason why. Ruckus and Freya share a secret from 5 years ago. However, will their fight turn to love? And if it does will the brothers and her brother accept it.
Get wrapped in another Dirty Soul story. Where the road to HEA is a bumpy road and filled with secrets.

This book conflicted me.
I really wanted to love it, especially with who the author is but for me personally a lot of this book lacked the certain magic that you'd expect from her.
Any real shock value got lost amongst the sense of rushing, especially the last 30%, when it was crucial for it not to be.
Certainly not what I was expecting.
It's a crying shame as normally I adore books by this author no matter what and and this book held a lot of promise.
In saying all of this I still look forward to seeing what the author comes up with in the future.

He knows she's off limits, but he went there anyway.
She disappeared for five years. Abused and nearly broken, Ruckus found her and convinced her to come home. He's always loved her. But she's off limits. They are both fighting their feelings, and it's slowly crumbling away. Until one day. They gave in.
Enemies are closing on and the Sinners need to stand together to survive. Tough decisions needs to be made.
So the secret stays for awhile.
Until Ruckus decided that secrets need to stop. At last they have their HEA. Great book

3.5 ⭐ 2.5 🌶️

I'm really enjoying the Long Beach charter.; the stories and the characters have been great. Ruckus and Freya were really sweet together despite Freya's horrible past... Her dad and his friends were a whole lotta yikes.

I'm really invested in some of the side characters and I'm really excited to see where this series goes. Tawk has been a favorite of mine for so long now and I desperately want to see his happily ever after.

Wow wow wow 🤩

So Ruckus, member of the Long Beach Chapter and bf’s with Wrath…….and has always had a little ‘thing’ for Freya, Wrath’s disinter 😜

Freya, has always had a crush on Ruckus, but as he is bfs with her brother, she knows nothing will happen 😜

Then they have ‘one night’ 🥵🥵🥵…..5 years later…….

There’s a killer still on the loose, a disgruntled member of the Arizona Chapter wanting what he’s ‘owed’ and a whole lot of other secrets coming to light 😜

An absolute must read now!!!!!

Received ARC

Finally Freya returns and Ruckus gets his girl! I always love when the guy who never has feelings for any of the dozens/hundreds of girls he sleeps with meets his forever person.

Once again Emma has created a storyline that both answers questions and breaks your heart at the same time. The "bad guy" gets his due but, one of the heroes pays the ultimate price.

I need more books for Long Beach

This is a fantastic story filled with emotion, unexpected twists, and heartfelt moments. Ruckus and Freya’s journey is intense, with past secrets, hidden feelings, and a reunion that brings both love and challenges.
The characters are compelling, and the emotional depth had me hooked from start to finish. One particular twist truly caught me off guard and even brought me to tears.

This is a gripping and emotional read!”

Another great story for the Long Island Dirty Souls Charter!
This time we get the story of Ruckus and Freya.
We all know from previous books that Freya ran away to join the circus.. but what really made her leave? This story takes to the past and the present to really find out.
But what will happen when VP Wrath finds out that bestfriend Ruckus and sister Freya have secrets?
Onto book 4 but I really cant wait to get Vikes story when it comes out!

Wow!!! This is dark, gritty, and hot. The third installment in the Long Beach Chapter, this time the action focuses on Ruckus and Freya. Forbidden love, revenge, betrayal - these guys face it all and yet love can overcome.
Beware there are some themes that may be triggers for some readers but this series just keeps getting better and better. Addictive reading

Ruckus is best friends with Wrath and knows sisters are off limits, but Freya tempts him continuously.
Freya has wanted Ruckus and hoping to get a reaction she flirts with the stunt riders from the travelling circus.
The night he finally snaps and confronts her only for her to leave him wanting answers he doesn't get in the morning.
