THE SAINT WHO COMMANDS HELL..

"And through bloodied vision and the unbearable metallic stench, I witness Blaze in his most authentic form; both shockingly beautiful and horrifically grotesque. He’s half heaven and half hell…"

A Dark and Erotic MC Romance

Anti-rule breaker and psychologist, Grace Suwan, finds herself in the clutches of a ruthless biker gang, reluctantly accepting the “deal of a lifetime.” Protection in exchange for a no-questions-asked IOU. But when the bloodthirsty, ill-tempered and yet, smokin’ hot, president of The Crimson Jackals, Blaze Shinoda, AKA ‘The Ogre’ pursues her, and Gracie surrenders to her desires, she knows that she’s risking more than just her life, but also her heart.

As their passions reach erotic heights and new threats emerge, can they trust each other enough to beat the odds and unearth who’s trying to kill Gracie — before time runs out? Or will the horrors of what’s to come incinerate their chance at true love?

Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this as an ARC. As much as I like the first book, this book was just too much. I liked the storyline and the characters but what I didn’t like was the too much smut and not enough story until the very end. But by the end it was good enough to resurrect itself well enough.

I really enjoyed this book. After reading the first book I assumed the writing style would be the same but I was pleasantly surprised to see that each perspective is written in the characters voice. Grace is a psychologist so the writing style in this book is more sophisticated, well as sophisticated as it can be for a dark romance, motorcycle gang storyline

This book was definitely a lot more than the first and in the best way! The storyline and characters were awesome and the smut was smutting! 🥵🥵

An electrifying romance that sizzles with passion from beginning to end. The second installment in "The Filthy Kings Trilogy," this book follows the magnetic connection between Grace and Blaze, whose contrasting personalities ignite sparks of desire that leap off the pages.

From the moment Grace, the prim and proper protagonist, encounters Blaze, with his filthy mouth and irresistible charm, readers are drawn into a whirlwind of emotions and steamy encounters. Their chemistry is palpable, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they navigate the highs and lows of their tumultuous relationship.

Devearoux masterfully balances the heat of their romance with a compelling storyline, ensuring that every page is packed with excitement and intrigue. The spice in their interactions only adds to the intensity of the story, making "Omniscient" a must-read for fans of steamy romance novels.

But beyond the passionate encounters, "Omniscient" also delves into deeper themes of love, trust, and self-discovery. As Grace and Blaze navigate the complexities of their relationship, they must confront their own insecurities and vulnerabilities, adding depth and complexity to their characters.

Eve Devearoux's "Omniscient" is a masterclass in suspenseful storytelling, earning a well-deserved five-star rating. This is the second of 3 books in the Filthy King's trilogy. The story follows Blaze and Grace, whose electrifying chemistry keeps readers on the edge of their seats throughout the entire book.

From the very first page, Devearoux hooks you in with a plot full of unexpected twists and turns. The characters are expertly developed, and their interactions are so realistic that you'll find yourself completely immersed in their world.

The spice level in this book is perfect, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already gripping story. Devearoux's writing is so vivid and engaging that you won't be able to put the book down.

Overall, "Omniscient" is a must-read for fans of the series and newcomers alike. Eve Devearoux has once again proven herself to be a talented and skilled author, and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Eve Devearoux knows how to write a first chapter that will have you riveted to the page. If she could carry this through the whole book it would be an absolute banger.

This is an entertaining book that had me invested and I really liked Grace and Blaze. The spicy scenes were 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ but for me there were too many and it detracts from the story. They were also very similar, right down to particular phrases. I love smut in my books but I like it to convey emotions, or further the story. Not be there just to be there.

The MC members were a real cast of characters. They had me cackling to myself at times. The brotherhood between them was so obvious, especially between Jin and Blaze. The effortless way Grace was able to win them all over, much to Blaze’s disgust, was pretty funny too.

I think ED has so much going for her. Her plots capture a readers attention and her spice is hot. I would just like a little more balance between the two.

As someone who loves a good MC (motorcycle club) romance, I went into Omniscient with high hopes—especially after the setup from the first book in the Filthy Kings trilogy. And while this installment definitely delivers on the spice, I found myself wishing for a bit more balance between the smut and the story.

The plot had a lot of potential. Grace, the FMC, goes through some intense and dramatic moments—being shot in the head and ending up in a coma, for example, but the pacing of these events and the way they’re followed up left me scratching my head. The day after waking from a coma, Grace is immediately back in the sheets, and that kind of unrealistic storytelling really pulled me out of the moment.

I don’t mind a steamy read—in fact, I usually love it but in Omniscient, it felt like nearly every chapter revolved around sex, to the point where it overshadowed the actual narrative. It seemed like smex was the go-to solution for every conflict or emotional moment, and by the end, I found myself skipping chapters just to get back to the meat of the story.

All that said, I did enjoy parts of the book, and I think with a bit more depth and pacing, it could’ve been great. Here’s hoping the final book in the trilogy finds a better balance between the heat and the heart.

I thought book one was a wild ride but holy heck book two was even crazier! From the beginning of the book to the end it's one wild ride. Grace is attacked and runs to a nearby cigar bar to hide. She meets blaze and he offers her protection in exchange for an iou. From the beginning I knew blaze was not as soft as ace was in the first book. But I love his growth throughout the book. I was also a huge fan of Jin. And was hoping he'd get his own book since he was introduced in book 1. I can't wait to see what kind of ride book 3 has in store. These books get better and better and I absolutely love it. Make sure to check your trigger warnings as this book has some dark themes and gore!

This is book 2 in the series and is like book one but with different characters and twist. This follows Grace Suwan who is a psychologist that is a rule follower and does not care for money and luxury. She really cares for other and want to protect them. Then a blind date gone wrong intertwines her life with Blaze Shinoda who is the leader of the motorcycle club the Jackels. We saw him and his people in the previous book. He makes her a protection offer she cannot resist without knowing how much he would fall for her and change his life forever. This book has very descriptive spice in it. Before anything check the TW. I did love that we saw a bit more of Ace and Mei.

Book 2 in this insane trilogy!

I will have to say I fell in love with Grace and Blaze hard in this one. Omni literally kept me on a rollercoaster ride from start to finish like Eroto did! I love that these men are quick to be heroes and protect the damsels in distress that runs into their bike clubs. The storyline was filled with action, plot twists, spice and moved at a really good pace. There wasn't a part of this book where I wasn't on the edge of my seat wondering what's coming next. Eve has an INCREDIBLE way of writing her novels and sharing so much emotions and chemistry! I can't wait to see what she writes next!

Grace and Blaze have so much chemistry and banter it captivated this reader.

Grace has people trying to kill her, but she has no idea why. She runs into a nearby club to hid but finds that there is more to the club than what she first thought.

The story will pull on all the emotions. You will laugh, cry, be on the edge of your seat.

The spice lvl is high, the story takes several unexpected turns to keep the reader engaged.

The book can be read as a stand alone but it is even better is you read the series as there is character crossover between books.

Looking forward to book 3

If you can't help but swoon for the bad boy who only shows his soft side for the one he loves, Blaze embodies that. Following in the footsteps of the first book, the character development is top notch. From the meek and mild therapist to owning the power she holds over Blaze, Grace transforms before our eyes on every page. The plot twists and turns kept me on my toes and trying to guess what will come next. There are many possible triggers, so please read those carefully!!

"I'll burn the f**ki*g world to keep her safe." SWOON!

Holy cow!!! What a book!!! Words can not even begin to describe the emotional roller coaster this book will take you on! From fear, to anger, to uncontrollable laughter, this book is PACKED with action and spice! I have never been so excited to read an epilogue in my life! From start to finish this book kept me on the edge of my seat and questioning everything I know about my own family morals ;). What a story. Seriously. If you haven’t read this one, you need too!!!! 10000000/10 recommend!!!

Loved this book even more then the first in the series. If you like you smut (starting in the first chapeter!) with a side of a plot, this is for you! The connection between Blaze and Grace is great! We met Blaze a bit in the first book. This is book 2 - I do recommend reading the first, because it's so good. But you don't have to - the story is separate. Plot twists kept me guessing- even when I thought I knew what was next - NOPE! OK off to read the 3rd one now!

The story line was amazing and the sexy scenes keep you *ahem* coming back for more. To say that I am looking forward to the next book in this series is an understatment!

Book #2 in the Filthy Kings trilogy did not disappoint. I was excited to meet the new FMC and get to know Jin and Blaze after their tease in the first book. This sequel was every bit as erotic and engaging as the first and just as full of intrigue and action.

Ms. Devearoux’s writing style and prose has grown since the first novel. The imagery is strong and still paints vivid pictures in the mind’s eye but her character’s inner narrations have more depth and grit. The FMC pulls you in and your emotions twist with hers.

I continue to avidly recommend this author and definitely recommend book #2 - I can’t wait to see what book #3 brings to the table.

Book 2 in this series did not disappoint. Somehow, it got even smuttier, just my style. You have two total opposites in Grace and Blaze, when they get together... wooo... I think I needed a cold shower from the heat coming off these pages. If Dark romance or any type of smut is your thing, run. Do not walk to snag these books.

I liked this book, just not quite as much as the first one. I’m not sure what it was, I just didn’t fall into this story as hard as I did with book one. It was still well written, and had a good premise with plenty of action and suspense and loads of spice. Very excited for the next book!
