A fantasy adventure(and romance) taking place across two worlds connected through a mirror!
The premise caught my attention right away and I'm glad to say that it was a 5 star read. The worldbuilding and plotline were so well done that the author has become an instant read for me. It was refreshingly unique!
Aleron and Jared made wonderful protagonists. The kind that left me wanting even more from them!

Great story, unbelievably detailed world-building
This is a great story, both MCs are so complex and the story has so many twists. The rules underlying the magic are fascinating and are surprisingly, at least to me, internally consistent.
I could not imagine how Aleron and Jared would end up together but their HEA works. And I was so glad to see they were able to save Flicker.
I understand this is Mike Struan’s first book. Masterfully done and I hope there will be many more.

Fun Fantasy
This was a fun gay fantasy romance. The romance is very slow burn, with only a hint of spice.
The story was interesting as it switched between the two parallel worlds and the side characters among them.
The MCs were very good and kept the story moving. Flicker the flame was also a fun side character.
