The Perfect Final Book In One Of My Favorite Dark Romance Series

We have seen sprinkles of Dr. Moore and Shelby's relationship throughout the previous books and it did not disappoint!

Expect the themes of small town dark romance, found family, somnophilia, a possessive MMC, morally dark grey decision making, and male bonding activities over disposing of the town's most unsavory characters.

This is a fast-paced, quick read, the rounds out one of my favorite series of the past year. I definitely recommend reading all the books as they are the perfect blend of dark romance, horror, summer camp slasher vibes where we all fall for the villain who just so happens to always have some pretty redeeming qualities.

I love this series, and I balanced my anticipation for this book, the final book in the A Killer's Love series and my sadness that it closes the chapter on Cromwell and the men who just can't stop/won't stop hunting there. I have heard rumors of a second generation series and I can't wait!

I was looking forward to finding out how this series would end.
I loved the glimpses we got of Shelby in the other books. She is sweet and funny and Leo is such a good match for her. Now if you have read Blood you will already know what happens to Shelby.
Now while I understand Leo's frustration with the situation but blaming the Cromwell's for their lack of action while not doing anything himself about Cooper was so hypocritical in my opinion.
I have been waiting 5 books for the comeuppance of Cooper. I am glad he got what was coming to him but I do wish what Leo and the Cromwell's did to him was more on the page lol but that is just me.
The kick Daniel does and how far Cooper goes was hilarious. What I did notice was that Leo may have said to Kaleb that he blames him and his brothers for what happened to Shelby but he didn't voice that in front of Daniel which I think is just too funny lol
I will definitely read this series again! I cannot recommend this enough

The final book in this series and I still loved it. Now Leo did irritated me, I don't know if it was because of what he did to Shelby or what, but man I was irritated by him. Jennifer did a good job at that because man I wanted to punch him at times haha! I still loved the story and getting ready to know more about Shelby and then what happened right after Samantha and Kaleb story. I wished I did read each book all together, because I did feel like I missed some points that were pointed out in the other books. It took me a second to realize what they were meaning. So if you do read this series, I recommend reading them all together one after another. I am sad that this book has finally come to an end, but I can't wait for what Jennifer has next!!!

This book was bittersweet because I loved the series but this is the last book. This book doesn't start off where the last one ends. This book shows you what Shelby was doing while you were reading the last book. The author does amazing lining up this timeline with the last book. The downside is the cliffhanger from the last book isn't resolved for awhile. That being said I love how petty and sassy Shelby is in this book and I think Leonard brings out more of who she is. They are the perfect together. I think this book completed the series nicely but im sad that it ended as I loved all the characters.

Soooo dark and taboo

This doctor is obsessed and his limited restraint has now been broken. Cringe-worthy like this author is known for. Antihero with quite the double life. My fav part in books in this genre is how the heroine responds after she realizes how psycho her love is. She puts up less fight than any of the other ladies in the other stories so a little underwhelming in that regard for me. Still this author stands out in this genre.

I can’t believe this series is coming to the end, and Leo our final MMC was my 2nd favourite! (Ajax is my number one!)

I loved him, but don’t get me wrong i have my beef with him and his somno tendencies (even though i love somno in my books) but come on, he took almost all of her firsts without her remembering, no cool!

But it was still an awesome and fun and quick read, and made me want to reread the other books!

Perfect

Having read all 5 books in the series and loved them all, this somehow managed to be even better than the others. Hope to see many more books from Jennifer Ivy in the future

3.5

It’s ok. Medium steam. Not really dark w felt by discussion. Definitely over the top obsession by the main male character. The FMC was sweet and naive but the story worked. The epilogue was pretty weak.

Another 4.5⭐️for me!!!! Dr. Leo is kinda creepy and I am absolutely here for it. These are short and fun. While I'm sad this is the end of the series I am so excited for the next series to start.

This was very wholesome. Almost not a dark romance. Well apart from the dark bits.

It was very short. I hate the way Shelby was depicted as a bit of a walk over. I like my FMC's sassy.
