The House Built Between the Branches

Rate this book
The House Built Between the Branches dives into the world we find deep within the woods. What mystical, or terrifying, things do we stumble across as we tiptoe over branches and dried leaves? What is it that goes snap in the trees?

The stories and poems are arranged much like one would find themselves walking through the woods. It begins with a thin canopy overhead, the pieces are lighter in tone. Then, as you walk further and deeper into the forest, the pieces grow darker and more grim. However, we do not leave you in the dark.
There will always be a light on the other side of pain and sorrow. Waiting there for you to walk into it and bask in the warmth.

We understand this is a thriller/horror anthology, and that every story contains elements which are spooky or dark in some way, shape, or form. However, we still feel that we should ensure readers are aware of all the content in the anthology as some things may be disturbing and/or upsetting. After all, the point of reading is enjoyment, and we want you to enjoy all of the stories in our anthology.

Love the variety. All acceptable for late elementary kids. The last few short stories I personally would wait until end of middle school for young readers. Definitely made me want to check out some other work done by the same writers.
