While it didn’t seem like much of a “story” at first the way the author described the tide pools and its creatures was fascinating. I spent my late teens and early 20s on the Oregon coast so truly appreciated the descriptions bringing the coastal elements to life. However the story did become more interesting when the friends were introduced. And the tail end, led to more intrigue. Well done.
