I do enjoy a good mafia romance and His hits the right spot. This one follows Sofia De Luca and Massimo Sartori.
Sofia's father Marco owns a small tailor shop. He has spent his whole life trying to protect her from the darker side of society. When he is suddenly arrested for tax evasion her life is about to be turned upside down. As the police take him away he tells her to call his best friend Massimo the only person he trust to keep her safe.
Massimo is well known and dangerous mafia don who knows his friend is being targeted to get to him. While he will get to the bottom of who's targeting his friend he needs to make sure Sofia is safe. What he wasn't expecting was her defiance and attitude or the undeniable attraction/chemistry between them. She goes from nieve and innocent to confident, fierce and a force in her own right.

While the spicy scenes were good, I found the rest of the story to be somewhat flat…the writing was stilted and did not flow as well as other books by this author.

Massimo believes Antonio Russo was playing a dangerous by going after Marco and threaten to kill his heir Mario but Antonio tells him that they had also had some complications with his organization as well. Someone was playing a dangerous game with both organizations. The Russo's thought Satori was behind their problems with their high value missing shipments because they thought that he was the only other in the game with the resources and motive to hit them where it hurts. Someone as managed to pit two of the most powerful families against each other. They wanted to dismantle both of them. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Entertaining read from author Sara Felds, action filled with larger than life characters and scenario
This was an unexpected book which I was very pleased that I had the chance to read and review it, I found the character Marco DeLuca to be a man that was doing his up most to protect his daughter Sofia and when she needed him the most was being framed by an unnamed individual.
She had been instructed by her father that should she ever need assistance and he not be there to contact Massimo; he had arrived and was ready to deal with her bratty behaviour and also to help discover who was trying to frame a tailor he knew was innocent and more importantly why?
Protecting Sofia suddenly is not as easy as he first imagined she is pushing all of his buttons and is not a simple-minded female, she is bright and her business acumen is impressive if she had been male she would probably have been offered a position working for his family without question.
I loved this book and I thought the interaction between both Sofia and Massimo was wonderful, the way she cleverly is able to run rings around the men that believe they are so much better just because they wear trousers, so to speak is hilarious at times.
This is a read that kept my attention from beginning to end as I wanted to know what the outcome would be for both Sofia and Massimo, also what the final outcome is for her father.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Part of The Godfathers series hang on don’t blink and you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified possessive, oh so gorgeous, brooding all three makings of a story consisting with the three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, darkness, secrets revealed, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love somewhere along the way! I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Marco De Luca and his daughter, Sofia, were living life. Everything changed when Marco was arrested. Sofia went to the only person she could, Massimo Sartori. Massimo was the mafia. Were the charges trumped up against Marco? Probably. Did he help out Massimo? Yes. Will Massimo and Sofia work together to figure out what was going on?
Sofia is very headstrong and though Massimo was stronger, she did not let him stop her. She wanted to help and nothing was going to get in her way. Massimo finally came clean with Sofia about what he did for a living. Massimo was the head of one of the largest mafia families in Italy and someone was trying to take them down.
This book still kept the steam that we are used to getting from Ms. Fields. It also gave a heavy dose of mystery and action. Sofia refused to be anywhere but right in the middle of the action. Massimo does the only thing he can do with a woman like Sofia. Punishments and rewards are the only game that they can play. Will these games lead to something more? Something unstoppable despite their age differences. This book is heavy on the mafia aspect. Readers will be in for a wild ride.

The story had potential but didn’t deliver for me. It started with a good premise- a tailor gets arrested for tax evasion and his words to his barely legal daughter as he’s being led away are “Call Massimo” who is his best friend. We soon learn that Massimo is mafia. The daughter, Sophia, is overwhelmed, willful, beautiful (duh) and 18. The story never really caught my attention most probably because the sex between Massimo and Sophia started so early on without the establishment of their relationship other than he was her father’s best friend. My biggest problem was that she was sort of ordinary- yes, beautiful, but she was mostly bratty and not smart or even sassy. She was boring until about two thirds into the book and then she has these brilliant, strategic ideas…really? My other big problem was with Massimo- how are we to believe he is this powerful and influential mafia don who cannot withstand the allure of a bratty 18 year old daughter of his best friend? Without any foundation for the relationship the reader is to believe he completely loses his ability to be the strong MMC just by being challenged by the bratty woman-child. I like the kink of which there was plenty but other than that the story was disappointing.

HIS is a dark Mafia Billionaire romance which is a mixture of suspense and is definitely a page-turner. HIS is quite entertaining and a complete enjoyment to read. Author Sara Fields continues to create amazing mafia romance stories. HIS is the story of Sofia De Luca and Massimo Sartori who I absolutely enjoyed getting to know as the main characters as well as seeing their story come to fruition. I LOVED reading HIS which in my opinion is a fantastic addition to the mafia romance genre. Author Sara Fields, in my honest opinion, is a stunning storyteller and writer who puts her heart and soul into the books she writes. Massimo is best friends with Sofia’s father, and he shouldn’t be thinking about Sofia in a sexual way and eventually act on those feelings. Both Sofia and Massimo are quite interesting and intriguing characters who are well-written and perfectly executed throughout the book. HIS is certainly a dark mafia romance book that I would encourage readers to checkout and give it a read. I can hardly wait to see what else Author Sara Fields.

Massimo was not a man to be messed with. He would find out who was setting Marco up. Protecting Sofia was going to be the tough part. She was being bratty, and she needed to be taken in hand. Sophia pushes his buttons. Massimo is tempting in every way. The man is hot, build and has charm and brooding all in one. I have to say, Sophia makes him rethink things. He doesn’t want her in his world, but boy does she have a head for it. She matches him at every turn and even out thinks his guys at times. I love this girl. Man, what men will do for power. This is like sending the cat in to weed out the mice. Takes a lot of planning to trap the one person that was setting this all up. I love Sophia. It shows how a woman is not a weakness to any powerful man.

Sara Fields’ “His” is the latest in her dark billionaire romances and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sofia has a level of sass that’s mixed with surprisingly smart and practical. I just loved how she seemed to flourish once she accepted what was going on. AND by accepted, I mean OTK. Massimo was delicious as the billionaire don with a protective streak and together…yeah…really good. So much so that I might have reread some of those scenes. More than twice. I do like Ms. Fields’ age-gap stories and this one checks additional boxes with the mafia and dark romance elements. The underlying story with a competitor out to get Massimo worked well along with the interactions between Massimo and Sofia’s father (hehe). Of the stories like this written by Ms. Fields’ this one ranks up pretty high for me. I thought it flowed well and kept a good pace, I enjoyed the characters immensely, the smexy times were hot and sweaty, and it was an all-around good read.

Ms. Fields is probably best known for her Sci-Fi and Paranormal fantasies but I much prefer her contemporary Dark Mafia books and this is one of her hottest and best in this genre. Massimo thinks that he has to protect Sofia because her dad is his best friend. While she wants his dominance and control, she doesn’t really need nor want his protection. She may be half his age but she is every bit as calculating and capable as he. Massimo is the leader of his Mafia Empire and fears for her safety and security, but Sofia is no shrinking violet. She can give as good as she gets. Their chemistry is explosive, the plot’s action is explosive (literally) and the Mafia intrigue and guile is compelling. There is just so much that is great about this book that it’s hard to imagine anything better. Graphic, Erotic, Romantic. Five full-fledged stars.

Couldn't get past the first chapter
I like a dark romance and I don't mind the spankings. However the MMC was supposed to be protecting his best friend's daughter instead of sexually assaulting her. If you're going to spank an innocent you don't pull down their pants and expose them. Of course it's going to be a turn on that's why men look at p**** I didn't like that he spanked her vaginal area and forced oral sex on her knowing she was a virgin. Her reactions were so unrealistic even if she did like him most women would be angry and humiliated after what he did to her. I understand that this is a fiction Romance however if there were a little more realism it wouldn't insult the reader's intelligence.

Massimo and Marco have been friends since they were little boys. Massimo’s family does not always do things legally, but Marco has always tried to be a straight arrow. Marco has always tried to keep Sofia away from anything illegal. Massimo promises Marco that he will protect Sofia. He also promises to get Marco out of jail.

A Life Revealed
A simple life... until it's not. Sophia A only child of a tailor. Her life gets uprooted when her father is arrested.
Enters her "uncle" to the rescue and it was ON. He pulled, she pulled back.
He being a dangerous mafia boss. His best friends arrest was sketchy at best and he's left with the care of his niece"
She finds out first hand she isn't and can't take care of herself in a world she new nothing of.
Amazingly written. Sara her world to us. Full of emotions shock, anger, disbelief, passion, love, danger and trust. The heat off the charts, the characters full of life. Enjoy.
