OMG Lucian Bane ,I loved it! You and Tara were a kick ass team in this book! Lucian put Tara through some crazy shit in this one but he definately made it up to her later on. Lucian had to fight demons of his past in this one and holy shit it was amazing ! Tara kicked ass, and stood by her man ! Very hot!
Lucian Bane , not only are you and amazing writer, but a very caring man with the upmost respect for women! Getting your message across that women can be cherished , feel loved and protected and not manhandled or cheated on! Just simply AMAZING! Thank you Lucian Bane!

Thank you for making this book slightly longer than the previous three, Lucian Bane, but these books can never be long enough for me! Each new book is my favorite until the next one comes out! The characters become more real (I know that sounds crazy, right?), and the storyline for each book is more intriguing! To any new readers of this series, please read the first three books before beginning this one!
Round Four focuses on Lucian's demons and how they have shaped him into who he is. His task is to dominate those demons, which will move him and Tara, aka Team America, closer to the one million dollar prize. During this competition Lucian and Tara are also receiving texts of yin and yang tasks to perform just to keep the pot stirred even more and force them to test their level of love and trust constantly. In Dom Wars Round Three, Lucian was Tara's knight and defender, helping her fight her demons from the past. Round Four has Tara displaying her kick-ass ninja skills to assist Lucian in his battle to prevent his past from tainting his future with her.
Lucian Bane is a phenomenal writer whose words keep me deeply emotionally engaged in the story he's telling. Not only do I love reading about how much Lucian cherishes Tara, my own heart skips a beat when the author so beautifully explains Lucian's physical and visceral reactions to Tara's presence and the love and comfort she gives to him. I have loved Lucian's character from the first book, and Tara is proving to be the perfect soulmate for him! Round Five........I can't wait, and I'm not anticipating unicorns and rainbows for Lucian and Tara (yet?).

Broke my heart with the shit texts being sent to Lucian to hurt Tara, it killed them both, that's true love!!!! So happy to see the bitch Dannielle got what she deserved but dying to see how Dom Wars found out about them having contact when they weren't suppose to!!! It'll kill me if it has anything to do with Steve!!! Please god no!!!

5 Star Read.. It gets harder to review each of the successive Rounds in this on-going Adult, BDSM,romance. The characters add another layer of depth each time, the drama and suspense deepen and the tale becomes more addictive until the cravings refuse to yield to the real world and you find yourself trapped inside the tale. Your heartbeat will increase with every challenge, stomach churning until each is completed. Only to find yourself strungout and anxious when the book is finished.. counting the days until the next installment releases. What the HELL will we do when it's completed... Reread the series I guess LOL :)

Wow Need I say more.Lucian an Tara are put through hell because of his demons and past an her insecurities.
The host of the show has become. so devious with them. Lucian despises What He has to do to her. They meet his family and hell breaks lose.There love story continues and gets stronger but in any relationship there is ups and down.

Reading Lucian go through his Demon Domination wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.. I wished I could've gotten more history on the WHY about his family and what he done. Even though it's been some months since I've read the first 3, I don't remember him going into details about his upbringing.
My man Steve is the real MVP.
I'm glad Tara is FINALLY "letting go" and going with the flow. Didn't like it when the shoe was on the other foot, huh? LoL....that's the right saying, right? LoL. Tara did gain a shizat load of brownie points for that clear break. CLASSIC.

It’s one thing to write about the emotional vulnerability of your partner. To flay their innermost struggles for all to see, dissect and admire. And to detail your response to that journey. It’s one thing to be there for someone who is working through the deep dark, to document the handholding, the tears and the process of re-finding the light. It’s infinitely easier to plunge into that deep dark when it belongs to someone else, when all you have to really do is tread water next to them. But to submit yourself to that intense scrutiny? To so easily delve into the very core of your own universe and invite the world to watch? That is true courage. That is fearless.
And that is what Round 4 is. Fearless. Tara and Lucian are right on the cusp of pledging each other forever. Lucian is all in and Tara is so close, *this close, to pulling down the final wall and letting Lucian in for good. She made it through her own demon domination and it served to make her stronger, make her relationship with Lucian stronger because he was right there with her through it all. He acted as her foundation so she always had solid ground to which to return. And it worked. She is pretty solid when this book starts. Solid, focused and no longer so concerned with pushing Lucian away. She’s no longer afraid.
Until a twist gets thrown at them. As if battling demons wasn’t enough to keep our dynamic duo busy, the game gets changed up and now Lucian is getting secret texts he can’t share with Tara to be mean. Yeah, you heard me. He has to be mean to her. On purpose. You want to talk about torture? Ask a man who worships women, who regards his sole duty in life to protect women, to nurture them, to revere them and then ask him to intentionally be mean to one. Especially the one with which he is in love.
And on top of that, he has to face his demons as well. It’s an especially busy book for Lucian and we get some magnificent insights into his character, his past and some elements that got him where he is today and informed his point of view. If there was any doubt before, this book lays Lucian bare and displays him for the exceptionally kind human being he is. He is strong and smart and dedicated with a loyalty that runs so deeply he would rather stay away from his entire family than be forced to openly confront components of it.
This book has moments of sheer brilliance. It is written with keen insight and a shameless ability to strip characters bare and then celebrate everything exposed. Lucian Bane is able to continue to craft a heartfelt story riddled with suspense and gorgeous moments of intimacy that left me as smitten as I was turned on. The lens through which Bane tells his story is thoroughly romantic while at the same time striking a genuine balance with reality. If there is a better way to weave a story than using threads of full color imagery, honest emotions and the innate tension inherent in growing relationships, I’ve yet to find it. Lucian Bane just keeps getting better with every Round.
If you’re looking for an extremely well written series chock full of incredible and multi-faceted characters with an engaging and ever-changing storyline – then Dom Wars is it. Get to it, the rest of us won’t wait for much longer for you.

Dom Wars: Round 4

This round of Dom Wars’ theme was again, Demon Domination. This time, it was Lucian’s turn to face & dominate his demons. From earlier rounds we know that Lucian’s father is a HUGE demon for him. We also know that he had a problem with water. But what demons will he face? There are more than we know about.
Thankfully, we don’t see that dumb broad, Danielle in this round. But that doesn’t mean that she isn’t pulling strings behind the scenes. But we don’t know that for sure, but some of the challenges definitely seem that way. Or is it possible that the fear of losing Tara is now Lucian’s biggest demon?
Tara definitely seems to have turned over a new leaf, openly expressing her feelings to Lucian and isn’t always as shut off from him as she was in previous rounds. I like to see that, as I have definitely felt bad for Lucian when she would shut him out.
Steve, the limo driver, was another player in this game again. And I still really like him. He is a good friend to Tara & Lucian and tries to help them out as much as he can. He is a great sounding board & idea giver to Lucian.
The only spoiler that I’ll give: is that Lucian’s father is his final demon domination task. And that confrontation is FREAKING EPIC!!! I adore Lucian’s romantic evening for Tara. At the end of Round 4, a shocking surprise is revealed, and surprises aren’t always good. This of course sets up the next book, Dom Wars: Round 5. And I’m nervously waiting to see what this challenging round will hold for Tara & Lucian.

Emotionally riveting...Gut Wrenching...Evocative. These are all words that come to mind while reflecting on book 4 in this series where Lucian is forced to face his "demons' in the Demon Demolition rounds. All of the books in the series stir your emotions but in this one my heart broke for Lucian as he was forced to comply with the challenges set forth by officiators of the competition. They knew exactly how to break Lucian by using his love for Tara against him and playing on her insecurities.
The challenges in this book and witnessing the inner turmoil Lucian was feeling while carrying each one of them out will send you on an emotional roller coaster; especially when paired with Tara's end of the challenges. Will Tara recoil from the sudden change in Lucian? Will Lucian just give up or will the love he has for Tara make him press through the most appalling challenges?
I really loved the character development with Lucian, Tara and Steve as well as the growth in their relationships in this round. I started seeing Steve sort of as a protector or father figure for them both. It was interesting to see the ways they would be strong for each other when the other was weak, I was so impressed with Tara in this round and the strength she portrayed for Lucian even when conflicted because of his actions.
I recommend this book even if BDSM is not your normal genre. It is about so much more than that, it is about a powerful unyielding love that ultimately saves you from yourself. Way to Dom the fuck up, Lucian.

Once again Lucian Bane weaves his magic. You find yourself being drawn in, and loving his unforgettable characters. You smile when they are happy, feel bad when they are sad, and get angry right along with them. (Well, I do anyways) I feel a sense of loss wen I try to turn the page on my Kindle only to realize there are no more pages.
Lucian is confident in his love for Tara. He is unsure of her feelings for him, and on top of that it is his turn at Demon Domination. After watching everything Tara went through in her round, Lucian has a really good idea of some of what he faces, and he is NOT looking forward to it.
Tara, not trusting her feelings for Lucian, is still determined to win Dom Wars for her Grandma. Can Tara be strong enough to be there when Lucian needs her the most? Is Tara prepared for what she will learn about Lucian in this round?
Can Lucian and Tara work together to pass this Demon Domination so they can move on to the next round in their pursuit of the title of Top Dom, the prize money, and maybe even the ultimate prize, real love? I know I can't wait to find out what happens next.

What happens when true love is put to the test?
One shell of a story. Not only was this round to be even more incredibly difficult. But all throughout, be sabotaged at every turn. This was a different kind of hell and Lucian and Tara are center stage.
" "Fifty lashes, love. Hold on tight." I gritted my teeth as he began the flogging, fighting to hold on to my anger. But every lash stripped it from me until I was cocooned in a world of agony and pain. But it was the one in my soul and chest that hurt more than anything. The physical was nothing. In fact, I was numb."
The love is there. The love is strong. But with old insecurities crashing the party, is it enough. Lucian's demons are extremely aggravating and while dealing with his past he must help Tara see that while there may be bad situations thrown in, it doesn't outshine the great and intense love they share.
" I had to make her mine, she had to be mine. Now. Yesterday. Tomorrow. Every fucking tomorrow. No games, no more pain. Just me and her, loving and laughing. Living. Really living. Fuck, I could live if I had her. I could really live. I just needed to find a way to keep her."

I started this series as it was free and quickly got sucked in. While I thought the first book was comical, and totally unrealistic, I quickly saw the direction the author was going (although I giggled through the entire first book).
This is a really fun series. The character building, is enjoyable, and the twists in the plot are fun. The concept is certainly out there, but I'm sure people thought the same about Survivor, and Big Brother, when reality series first started taking off.
I love the way Lucian and Tara have developed their relationship. Even while pushing limits.
I haven't reviewed the first three books, although I may go back and review book 3. This series has developed into something more than I thought it would be, and I am pleased.
The switch scene in book 3 was incredibly hot, and I'd like to see more of that in book 5.
I was surprised by this series, and will be following along with any more that are published.

Well this series just keeps getting better!!! The last dealt with Tara's demons and this one deals with Lucian's. Oh boy! He knows who a couple of his demons will be and he is scared! How do you face them and then dominate them? He just wants to stay on his island away from the pain. Who wants to dredge those feelings up? Not him! Of course, there are all types of directives that are just plain mean coming across the text messages. And of course, they come at the most inopportune times. Because of these directives, attitudes erupt, feelings are hurt, and emotions run rampant! Lucian and Tara are trying their best just to hold on and keep things together while the stress is going up, up, up! How this chapter unfolds is astounding! Unfortunately, after an error in judgement, our team is faced with a penalty. My oh my! The next book will deal with that situation as Dom Wars continues!! I can't wait!

Lucian once again takes you on another round of Dom Wars and has to defeat his own demons while Tara and Steve play witness. But in this round it is Tara that must overcome the harshness of Lucian's acts to gain points. Lucian is receiving horrid texts that don't sit well with him and he is afraid of finally losing Tara for good. But with the help of Steve he hopes that Tara will see past them and realize how much he truly loves her. And hopes that the culprit behind the texts gets whats coming to her.
With every round Lucian takes us deeper and deeper into his world, into the depths of Tara and his emotions and makes you anxious to wonder what will happen next.

The further their story progresses, the more I am sucked into the situation. The mental trials & letting go of the walls they've place around themselves just draws you in until you feel like you're holding your breath, just waiting for the outcome!
Steve just seems to grow on me every time he makes an appearance. & Lucian, dear God... I just love the rawness of his emotion & absolute love!! However, Tara really is the most amazing one in the entire scheme of things. You just can't help but admire her. She comes so far (the both do really) & she deserves all her adoration. & no matter what happens, they have their rear guard.
The ending... KILLED ME. I can't wait this long between books, Sir!

This was the most anticipated round thus far...how did it stack up? Holy hell! Lucian faces his biggest demons and things get real! Real personal, very raw, and smokin Hot! Tara's personal development to this point badass....rear guard? Absolutely!! Chemistry between these two...off the charts. This series has only improved each round. What started for me as a sexed up 'Survivor' has turned into a complex emotional journey of healing, hope, trust and love....(with a kinky bow!)...and I didn't even start on Steve! Dom Wars has quickly become not just an automatic one click and up all night read but truly a series that will be an all time favorite for me! Highly recommend this series....amazing job Lucian Bane!

WOW!!!! BEST ONE!!!...so far!
I'm really speechless on how this book made me feel. Is it possible to love two characters so much?? YES! You have no choice but to keep rooting for Tara and Lucian. I wanted to leap into this book and freaking hug the sh*t out of Tara. The best female lead in any book I've read thus far!

I'm really speechless on how this book made me feel. Is it possible to love two characters so much?? YES! You have no choice but to keep rooting for Tara and Lucian. I wanted to leap into this book and freaking hug the sh*t out of Tara. The best female lead in any book I've read thus far!

A must read!
Lucian does it again! Another amazing book that grabs you from page one and has you begging for more when it's over. I couldn't put it down. The love that Tara and Lucian have for one another is so unique and amazing that you can't help but to fall in love along with them. If you haven't read this series. You really should. Great Job Lucian. Can't wait for more

Lucian's done it now!
Another amazing book by Lucian Bane that leaves you reeling. Through most of the book the reader fears that the couple won't make it through all of the horrible things they are forced to do for the sake of the competition. Then Lucian has to face the fact that his actions may have cost him and Tara the competition. This book is a must read. Can't wait for Round 5!

Once again I am amazed by Tara in this continuation of Dom Wars. She continues to fight her feelings and try's to lock down her heart to no avail. Lucian will not be denied. in this round it is Lucian's turn to face his demons but he also wants to put his heart on the table to let Tara know his intentions. But outside forces come into play. This round was a constant battle of push and pull and seeing if the bond will break. Another overall awesome read and I can't wait for round five.

this has to be by far my favourite so far of the Dom Wars series.
This round was a tough round for Lucian and Tara....the assignments that were given to Lucian throughout the boom, hurt my heart....I reallt felt for them. It was an extremely hard round for Lucian and an equally upsetting round for Tara.
Once again, Lucian Bane has smashed this book, aced it 100%

This book has been my favorite in the series so far! I found myself engulfed in the humor just as much as the intensity!
This being Lucian's demon round, I felt like I knew him a little more. His heart beats for Tara, this much we know. The BS he had to go through was heart wrenching and really was sad to read about.
This book was emotional, raw and the dialogue was pretty damn funny.
Impressive writing for sure!

Well worth the read
I'm so stuck on this series. Lucian has done it again. Can't get enough of the Dom wars. In this book it is time for Lucian to face his demons. Having Tara by his side. Can the sex get any hotter. A must read.
