The previous volume was the first time in a long time a book had kept me on the edge of my seat. Several months passed before I read this volume and fROM THE JUMP, I was jUST AS STRESSED.

This series is so good at making you get so attached to characters you've only just met, and each match gets more and more intense both as fights and as character moments. Yu vs Aaron was the most intense so far, the finale left me shook, and I haven't stopped shaking since.

This is GRIM. The rest of K’s backstory, plus the beginning of Yu’s… JH really doesn’t pull any punches. At least J’s presence is a glimmer of hope for them both, but… considering JH’s track record of endings (*cough* The Horizon *cough*) I’m interested to see how this goes. Hopefully J can just give Yu a big ol’ hug, but who knows.

The author kept hinting that the cat was going to die but to kill him off and then show how Yu and the cat met is heart wrenching.
