hm, yes, i do understand why seven year old aurora devoured these books. they're fun, they're quick, and also now, as a 21 yr old, i really dig all the late-90s, early -00s references. "there's a boy who looks like ben affleck." "my walkman's in the trunk" love it.
You had one rule. And you couldn’t even stick to that. Nice job. (also where are those repercussions? I was looking forward to finding out how much trouble they’d land in, but we never got that part)
I enjoyed the boarding school aspect. Lots of 90s early 2000s references that were fun. Cute little drawings but sometimes they were confusing, the names on the diaries didn't always match up with who was supposed to be writing.
First in a special three part series. This is where they go to a private school while there dad and Carrie are away. It is a mix of dear diary and the story of what's happening. Looking forward to reading the next two. To see what the rest of the new school is like.
Now it makes sense . If you read book 1 – 9 then yoyu can understand why this book is a Diary instead of a normal book. Its about Ashley and Marykate Burke who are moving to White oak Acadamy, because their dad goes to somewhere with Carrie. But then theres a party in Feburary an the grls need dates and they dont know the boys at alal. So they get crazy
The blurb sounds very interesting and I was very curious what this story is about. And I was very happy to read one of their books again. I didnt had any expectations, because I know that I love this story even though I am to old for these. I have seen this film.
As always I am addicted to their book cover. I know you can see the twins on the photo, but its beautiful. The Book color is green.
the writing skills is very easy and short. There’s also an acorn magazin where they write stories and some calender. The Story is written very easy so you can understand everything. There are no complicated words in the story. And its fluent and funny
Heroes are as always Marykate and Ashley. The idea of the story is good. The story is easy but good. So I am addicted to the books and the story is very short to read it. The story is made easy but thats okay. I love these books. The story is based on the tv series that I havent seen and is near the reality.
When i was in 7th grade, a friend introduced me to this book and sooo.. i read it because i have trouble with my English and i wasn't used to read or speak anything in English.
Basically, in my memory, this book tells us about how Mary Kate & Ashley burke tried to survive in their new school. Being the new kids, they were greeted by Dana Woletsky who's being miss meany meany (or so you say, the bitch).
This book is quite fun to read. For a first timer reading English book at that time, I feel really glad to understand the story :)
A mostly rambling account of two twins sisters from Chicago who are sent to an all girls boarding school while their entomologist father is researching in the Amazon. Central theme revolves around the use of a cell phone to attract boys at a nearby boys school. The phone gets confiscated and the ensuing miscommunication alienates the main antagonist, a conflict which does not ultimately get resolved.

Um, it's a minor point but it irked me that Kristen's name kept changing to and from Kristin, sometimes on the same page. Otherwise, it was a nice book.
