KILL FOR ME!

Rate this book
Author's An altered version of this tale has been incorporated into my novel "Serial Predators". If you have read that, you have essentially already read this.

Starting with a dialogue reminiscent of an old comedy routine, this tale quickly evolves into something more serious. Young Jodi spent her childhood growing up on the streets of a gang-infested neighborhood, stealing and killing were the norm.

Along her journey through life, she affects the lives of others, altering some, taking some. Killing is her first passion. Delegating the task to innocent others, along with introducing them to new sexual experiences, is the second.

Read the story to share the experience. It contains non-explicit sexual content.

She put the pistol in Marissa's hand, then loaded the chamber, still holding her from behind. “Shoot him and I'll let you live.” Both held onto the gun grip. “KILL FOR ME!”
“I can't.”
“Sure you can.” Jodi put the girl's finger on the trigger, then put her own finger on top of Rissy's. Marissa wouldn't pull the trigger, but she also wasn't resisting. Her survival instinct wouldn't let her. She knew Jodi would kill her if she fought back.

“I know that guy!” whispered Marissa. “Last year I had a minor fender-bender. It was the other guy's fault. This guy put me in the back seat of his squad car and sat next to me. He put my hand in his crotch and said if I didn't give him a hand-job, he'd ticket me.”
“What an asshole!” exclaimed Jodi. “Did you?”
“Well, yeah. It would have been my third violation. My insurance premiums would have soared. I might have lost my license.”

“How we spend the rest of the night is up to you, Mrs. L. We won't be leaving until we're all satisfied customers. If we're still here when the sun comes up and the neighbors might see us, we'll kill you. You're going to have to take the initiative, it's your home, we're your guests, it's only proper. Lanni will be recoding whatever happens, so make it look like you're loving it!”

“I have a maid uniform in the top drawer of my dresser. I want you to put it on.” It had belonged to the murdered motel maid.
Cindy did as requested, then returned and sat on the side of the bed.
“Cook me breakfast. I'd like bacon, eggs, toast and coffee, and I'd like it served to me in bed.”

Many of the prior years of my life were spent working at normal endeavors which had nothing to do with creative writing. Then one night I dreamt I was on a retreat walking through the fall-colored foothills of New England celebrating the publication of my first novel. I awoke with a feeling of such fulfillment that I realized it was time to begin my literary journey.

I put pen to paper and started on my first story About Sam, the tale of a young housewife with children who was also a secret agent. The opening rough draft included conflict, adventure and romance, but I needed help. I ventured off to a local club called Sarasota Authors Connection.

There I met Leah Dallaire, an editor whose continued guidance proved invaluable. At subsequent club meetings I had the good fortune of listening to speeches by the creators of Single White Female (the movie had Bridget Fonda in it) and I Know what You Did Last Summer (the one with Jennifer Love-Hewitt) and many other fine writers. Later on my literary journey, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with best-selling author Richard North Patterson who generously provided additional assistance, and I subsequently wrote him in as the bomber pilot in Back to World War II.

My first stories were an experiment in genres. I dabbled in mystery, fantasy, satire, corporate intrigue, science fiction, romance, thriller, and action-adventure. The one thing they all had in common was strong-willed women, so I consolidated them into a collection called Willful Women, followed later by Willful Women II.

The genre experiment revealed that action-adventure was the most fun to create, so I began the Willful Women Assassins Series, later assembling these stories into the novel Assassin Affairs. After finishing that project, the characters made an unplanned reappearance in The Diva Den, so I added that as an encore chapter, calling the revision Assassin Affairs – Encore Edition. All my titles are available on the Kindle.

I had always rewritten my stories to remove segments in which the sex had gotten explicit (though not gross), but with Assassin Affairs – Encore Edition I determined it was time to leave them in. Many of my past coworkers were gay, lesbian or bisexual, so I included such characters in the book, spicing it up with elements of submission and domination. If you find such things offensive, Assassin Affairs – Encore Edition is not for you. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy it. Rock on.
