To the End of the Age: Christ's Presence in the World
How are Christians to live in this world in light of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ?
The fact is that Christians must deal with many challenging issues. We often face a sense of brokenness and struggle when life does not seem to be as it should. We deal with matters of life and death. We wonder about the relationship between body and soul. We wrestle with the interplay of our faith and politics. We are confronted with environmental issues and wonder how creation fits into the picture of God's plans for us. In short, we live and work in a world which is “messy.”
Ultimately, we also ponder just where Jesus Christ is now, what role he plays in the present world, and what role we are to play as his people. This book illuminates these issues with God’s Word in order to help the reader in his or her life of faith.

I like the fact that this book covers different topics that often come up by Christians and non Christians. Each topic was covered individually and then discussed based on scripture and history. The author does a good job of explaining why Lutheran Christians believe what they do and does a good job of explaining how those beliefs are backed up.
