What an eye-opening look into what it is like to be a midwife in Australia. I learnt so much about the system, the beauty and the pitfalls. Kelli does such an incredible job of showing the emotional highs and devastating lows, highlighting the constant pressure and burnout that midwives face and the incredible impact they can have on women.

She shares such an insight into her life and how being a midwife and living on call has impacted her and the sacrifices she has made, both personally and professionally. You really feel the toll it takes on her well-being, from the exhaustion to the emotional strain. Yet, through it all, her passion for providing compassionate care shines through. It gave me an even deeper appreciation for this wonderful woman.
This book is a raw, honest portrayal of a profession that is often misunderstood, and it left me with a deep appreciation for midwives and the work they do.
