Agoraphobia is what they call it. An overwhelming fear that keeps her hidden away in a secluded cottage deep in the woods. It was meant to be her sanctuary, her escape from a world that had become too much. But solitude offers little protection when the shadows watch your every move. Someone has been following her, an unseen presence lurking just beyond her reach. He knows her routine, her secrets, her fears. And yet, despite the danger, she feels an undeniable pull toward him, a connection she can’t explain. Who is Elio, really? And why does he seem to know her better than she knows herself? In a twist of fate, her sanctuary becomes a maze of obsession, desire, and unsettling truths. Will she find the strength to uncover who’s really behind the haunting gaze that follows her, or will she be lost to the web of control closing in around her?
Obssessed Shadows is a stalker Romance that ends with a HEA.
Cassandra hates writing about herself in the third person, but here we are. With over 33 novels penned and no signs of stopping, she writes across multiple genres. Unable to be pinned down by just one, you'll find Fantasy, Dark Romance, Young Adult, and even a Detective series in the mix. Having grown up in a small country town and later lived in the city, Cassandra found a perfect spot she likes to call an 'in-between place'—complete with rolling hills and just a stone's throw from the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. While she may have had social media in the past, Cassandra has since declared it's not for her. Her website is now the best place to find out what's happening in her world and to see what upcoming books are on the horizon.
The idea of the book was really good but the execution was not. Grammar errors and some sentences just didn’t make sense. Incredibly over wordy and over explained and repetitive. The same things were repeated so often it took me so long to get through bc I felt like nothing happened. There was pretty much no action until after the 40% mark. The spice was super uninteresting and the stalking aspect was almost mostly before the book takes place.
