Very nice 2nd half of the 1st story arc. I am impressed with the comic adaptation of this classic Cartoon character. Very recommended

Really not a fan of this run or this volume. I'm so tired of the "family is the strongest thing in the universe" theme and seeing a character declare that in a victory speech at the climax. There is no hackneyed plot contrivance or trope that Pepose isn't prepared to liberally use and this series is full of them.

There are some good points and ideas I would have liked to see explored further, but Pepose doesn't bother to mine the characters for any moments or real honesty or truth. It's more-or-less a paint-by-numbers adventure story that is, ultimately, uninspiring and unoriginal.

I have a Hanna-Barbera related podcast so I kind of have to read these otherwise I probably would end my Space Ghost journey here. I'm not really looking forward to season two but since it's part of the gig I guess I'll be back for issue one of the next series. I pray it's more interesting than season one.

The nostalgia in this one is high while still maintaining a good story and art. If you were ever a Space Ghost fan, you're probably going to dig this. Can't wait to see what Pepose and Lau do in Season 2.
