Just when I’m out, just when I’m so pissed off I can hardly stand it and I’m about to run for the hills shouting about how Alya deserves so much better: Masachika is able to prove his worth, is able to prove me wrong, and is able to pull me right back in - proving, he is, in fact, deserving of Alya and won’t let her down.
It’s always a delight to see Minoa, because she’s quickly becoming my favorite side character and Yuki is too hilarious as always. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of Iono and Chisaki in this novel. The times we saw them were all too brief.
Finally, I am getting real fucking sick Maria. Have been saying this for the last three or four book reviews but she is on my nerves so much. She is a terrible older sister. Everyone is entitled to being selfish, but if she wants Masachika, then she just needs to go for it and let him make up his own mind. She needs to stop playing all coy and innocent and stop acting like she cares about Alya’s feelings when she really doesn’t. Yuki might think she’s the real villainess of this series, but she isn’t. It’s Maria.
