AK Nevermore is a bestselling, award-winning author of dystopian sci-fi, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance. She enjoys operating heavy machinery, freebases coffee, and gives up sarcasm for Lent every year.

A Jane-of-all-trades, she’s a certified chef, restores antiques, and dabbles in beekeeping when she’s not reading voraciously or running down the dream in her beat-up camo Chucks.

"Secrets We Keep" is an easy-to-read anthology featuring paranormal beings and the romantic relationships embedded in the thrills of their everyday, supernatural life. I enjoyed this book a lot! While I did wish that there was more clarity about the types of paranormal creatures each heroine was at the beginning of each short story, I really enjoyed the drama and it wasn't predictable! The plots weren't there just for the sake of having a plot (or an excuse so the novel isn't labeled as smut). My favorite story was with Lily and Ben, and I was devastated by what happened between her and Clay! Despite that, I loved the sexy Irish Vampire, and Lily was by no means weak; she knew where she stood and how to worry about herself, though we see a soft side from her as well! I also enjoyed Veronique and Connor's story, and Connor's grandmother was mystical as much as she was meddling! Additionally, Titus and Emily warmed my heart, and Emily was easily relatable to all the shy girls! Overall, while I wish there was more disposition, I enjoyed this novel!

So far, I have only read Fallen, by A.K Nevermore. Syf is a fallen angel, always on the lookout for someone coming to retrieve her, she tries her best to stay hidden until she meets Theo, who offers her a chance at forever.. What will Syf decide?

Nice collection of mostly very steamy romantic stories.

This book contains a nice variation of stories about all kinds of fantasy and supernatural creatures finding love / lust with all kinds of partners ( in some cases also of the same sex)

Stories are always difficult because the writer has limited space to really build their story, so the pace is high and sometimes things happen too fast to be believable ( some stories would work better in a slower pace, maybe as a book) But all the writers in this book succeeded in creating interesting stories with mostly relatable characters. Of course every reader will have their own favorites but its a very nice mix.

This is an anthology of 9 fantasy/paranormal romance short stories. It's only about 380 pages, so each story really is a short, easily digestible read. I really liked four of the stories, tolerated three of them, and disliked and skimmed two of the stories. Overall, I'd recommend it for someone looking for something new to read.

My favorite short story was The Wolf's Match by Amanda Reid. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but something made it stand out among all of them as my favorite in the collection. Maybe it was the time period? I've always liked Victorian settings.

This was a fun collection of paranormal romances by some new-to-me authors and others I already know and love. I really like these anthologies as they give exciting but short stories to let me read in snippets, when my time is short, but I get a 'whole' story for that time ;) Each book brings together a strong FMC and her fated mate - whether she was looking for a mate or not. Lol! I like that these stories were like slices of everyday life as a supernatural peep. You definitely can expect the heat to rise as each couple works their way to a fab HEA. Good fun!

This is a collection of stories from different authors with strong female leads who may not start out wanting a man in their life but circumstances put them together and the attraction flares. They try and fight it, but fate has other ideas. It may be their fated mate or the man they are destined to be with but soon love blossoms and the man gets his woman.

I really enjoyed Secrets We Keep. My favorite story in the collection was "Fallen," but all of the stories were excellent and fit the theme of the collection. I also like how each one contains a content warning and heat rating at the beginning. It makes it easy to decide if a particular story suits your mood or reading tastes. I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy fantasy, romance, and short stories.

With so many different stories to choose from, Secrets We Keep is a great collection of reads with something for everyone to enjoy! Ranging from all types of supernatural creatures and different steam levels on the romance range, I really enjoyed this anthology. I can see some of the stories being expanded on in future projects, and I look forward to checking out more works by each of these authors.

believe it or not
Who is able to say whether there are paranormal beings among us or not? But if they really exist, how do they explain their existence to humans and who would believe them or those who got in contact with them? Anyway, all of the stories in this anthology were worth reading and I got introduced to new authors, what more can I ask for?

This a collection of short erotic stories with strong willed men and women, that know what they want and are not afraid to go after it. I liked that each story was short and was able to read the stories quickly. I enjoyed the entire book.

I really enjoyed this anthology and the stories. They range from sweet to spicy and all different situations. I laughed and was entertained to see what trouble and drama each couple would get into. Loved that they were paranormal stories and a quick read. Some I liked better then others but enjoyed reading different authors.

With each story you don’t know what you’re going to get. Each one is varied but the common theme is paranormal fantasy with sex scenes ranging from mild to steamy. There’s is something for everyone. Wolves, Vampires, dragons, lizards, witches and more.

I love anthologies and I especially liked Fallen by AK Nevermore. A fallen angel, Syf is trying to "fly" under the radar, but is found by Theo and he offers her forever. All the books are fast paced, well developed short steamy reads. A solid read.

I really enjoyed Fallen by A.K. Nevermore. An angel that is a fugitive is in a tough spot. Does she save herself or rush everything for redemption. You will be pulled into the story and can't stop reading until the end.
