This entire story is so unhealthy. I'm not sure why I can't stop reading it. Ran, bubelah, Kaya needs psychiatric help, not whatever it is you think you're doing for him.

Nonostante sia un manga PIENO di dialoghi, devo dire che non mi annoia mai, anzi è divertente e intrattiene. Sinceramente però continua a non piaceremi molto come Ran stia gestendo suo fratello…è tutto così sbagliato 🥹

Mi incuriosisce molto il fatto che sembra che Ran stia sviluppando dei sentimenti per il compagno di classe, e ammetto che un colpo di scena sulle coppie non mi dispiace affatto! Fin da subito sembrerebbe che sia Kaya ad essere destinato a stare con Ran ma il fatto che la protagonista non lo veda in quel senso e che in copertina c’è sempre solo Kaya (a differenza delle altre serie dell’autrice) mi fa pensare che forse potrebbe esserci qualche sorpresa!

Menzione speciale per il mio amato Naruse 🥹🥹🥹 non mi aspettavo la sua comparsa, per giunta all’acquario! 🤣

Here I am... I can't stop reading, even if it's driving me insane :,0
One of my peeves about this manga is that it seems to do the same thing over and over again; realization that something is wrong, and then the main character doubling back because something that Kaya said makes her convinced she now needs no friends, or a relationship, and needs to isolate herself in order to protect him. We get a lot of development of Nasu's feelings in this particular volume and this part I LOVED. and I HATE that I loved it because I can tell the author is just toying with us and every time something goes slightly right, everything has to go wrong and set them back 1000 paces. I also did like the peek into Hisano(?)'s point of view and why she is the way she is. I really hope to get more of this for Kaya specifically but I know it will be dragged out a TON because it adds to the intrigue... Overall I just want the main character and Nasu to be happy together in the end........ please.............................

Okay hot take but I think this series would genuinely be good if it were framed as a psychological thriller centered on how Kaya’s trauma has caused him to attach himself so deeply to Ran-chan because that plot line—though I personally find it gross—can be a kinda fascinating case study, which is similar to my take about Killing Stalking. However, this series just uses it as a plot device for justifying a taboo relationship. And at the end of the day, Ran-chan has explicitly stated how she is against his behavior and actions towards her while not fully rejecting it physically since she’s entranced by him, so he’s still straight up assaulting her.

Hoshi finally getting a glimpse of the power of female friendship is sweet. She’s still one of the most annoying and shallow characters I’ve ever seen, but I can’t hate her since she’s also funny at times.

I love this series and I am judging myself for liking this. All the guys are trash honestly, her step brother is just a bit more aggressive but Nasu hugs her without asking. This taboo and not fluffy in anyway. He is sick in the head and down bad for Ranko. I kind of love that every sees him for the crazy person he is, even the cute pig. He even kind of looks evil. I am here for this mess.

Can't wait for the next one.

Chapters 21 - 25: This was another entertaining volume and I am enjoying the summer break chapters. The cameo appearance of Shou Naruse from this authors series Cheeky Brat was also amusing. I look forward to reading the next volume of this series as well as more of this authors other series.

So, like, he is 14 and she just turned 16, right? Can’t they just be kids and have all this go down when they are older….. please? It could be one less taboo factor to the story!

Also, I have a strong feeling in my gut that something EXTREMELY traumatic happened to little bro when he was even younger than 14. I know he said something about a previous home, but I think it was worse than that.
