"You're pregnant with my twins?! Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
How did I end up here?
Trapped in my CEO's officeHis kisses still burning on my lipsTwo secrets growing inside meAnd both our families ready for warOne forbidden office romance. Two heartbeats I can't explain. Three months to hide the truth. Zero ways this ends well.
I'm the king of the boardroom. She's the assistant who brought me to my knees. One taste of her sweetness, And I broke all my rules.
They say she's beneath me. Too young. Too innocent. Too poor. But they don't know what I know— She's carrying my empire's future.
One taste of forbidden fruit, Two beating hearts beneath her own, And a love that defies all rules. This scandal just became my greatest victory.
But someone wants to destroy us— And they're closing in fast. The question isn't if we'll fall... It's who's pulling the strings.
Author's CEO's Baby Scandal is a steamy, forbidden office romance featuring an age-gap relationship, surprise twins, and a HEA. Contains mature themes and scenes that will make your kindle melt.
I think this was much better than most falling for boss, age gap romance stories. I liked Daniel from the beginning, because this was never a power struggle for him. I just wish he would have handled his attraction to him better but that would have made for a boring book!
I liked the instant chemistry between Emily and Daniel. They both dealt with their relationship in their own way and as often happens, friends and loved ones get in the way by trying to protect them. Sometimes this can cause problems and other times it's warranted and helpful.
The book blurb is a little misleading but the general gist is accurate. I really enjoyed the book. I would definitely read more by this author.

Too many people in your relationship causes problems. This hold true for Emily and Dan. Their parents, her parents, her sister, his brother and his partners think they know what is best for Emily and Dan. They interfered causing problems but Dan and Emily love each other enough to overcome all the misunderstanding that their families and friend created. It is a very spicy and touching story. I enjoyed it very much.

I’m not convinced I read the same book as other reviewers? It was short and somehow still too long. Plot holes and carried the miscommunication trope almost until the very end. Then everyone was just…cool?
Trope - boss × assistant, workplace romance, age gap, billionaire MMC, insta-lust, grumpy × sunshine, forbidden, surprise//hidden pregnancy, he falls first, lots of angst, family-drama, miscommunication, separation (for a while), HEA
This one had great potential, but when you look at it as a whole, it had various plot holes that could have been dealt with better.
The majority of the book just dealt with Daniel - Emily and the whole world against their relationship. I could see where everyone came from, but if the couple are claiming to be in love, who are you to question them? What pissed me off more was how at several points you could see the couple almost getting persuaded but then trying their best to trust each other.
THE MAIN LEADS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP Emily was a strong character however I felt if her character remained consistent it would have been a memorable one. She came off as timid, and naive at first then she was bold, then insecure, then submissive and finally bold again. I wish she had taken matters into her own hands way before, because that way the plot would have been more interesting. Her hiding the pregnancy for so long, was so not required, it just prolonged the plot.
Daniel came off as a playboy in the beginning, but then again his personality too wasn't consistent which was again sad. There was this one quote that threw me off-guard, it said “Dating ain’t married.” It was his awkward way of saying if someone isn’t married, they’re still available, like was he promoting cheating? Also, most of his monologues confused me a bit, one moment he would treat her like a slut, and the next he would mention how he was falling for her- dude pick a side.
Their relationship was primarily understanding and sweet; it was those torn parts and miscommunication that ruined everything. A little more trust and talk would have avoided most of the issues.
SIDE CHARACTER's - * Evelyn could jump off a cliff, and I wouldn't care. She sabotaged her little sister in the name of love and care, what an ass. In the end, her character explains her "reason", regardless it was so cruel.
* Michael was another one of the characters that if dead, I would care less. He was just arrogant, and rude.
* Both MC's parents were trying to manipulate their kids for their good. They were bitter throughout the book.
What surprised me was how everyone's behaviours just shifted within minutes. This "change of heart" felt rushed, if not it would have been an impactful/emotional scene. _______
More than half of the book was pretty good and wholesome. It had emotions, drama, love, pain, and steam. The only thing I didn't like much was how the plot was stretched, this could've easily been a good book if the drama didn't take 80% of the book.
The epilogue was just beautiful. I wished there was a little more to the book.
Would recommend it if you want a quick drama, emotion-filled book with genuine connection(but miscommunication) between the main couple. Overall 3.75/5
I absolutely love reading CEO’s Baby Scandal to the point where I didn’t want to set the book down for very long. I was completely captivated with this amazing plot, spectacular characters, and an outstanding outcome for the main characters. CEO’s Baby Scandal had my attention from the very beginning and held it all the way through to the very end of the book. I loved getting to know both Daniel and Emily as well as watching their love coming to life. I adore the fact that these two main characters have a happily ever after with them getting married and bringing twin babies (one boy and one girl) into the world. Author Ava Gray is a phenomenal storyteller and an incredible writer who in my opinion puts everything into the books she creates for her readers. I can’t wait to read more amazing books by her. I would also love to give this book as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

This age-gap, boss/employee romance is an emotional and angsty read that drew me in right from the first page to the last. Emily is a sweetheart, just starting her career and new to town. Daniel is her boss who finds himself unexpectedly attracted to his beautiful assistant and then hopelessly smitten. Thankfully, Emily feels the same way, and the sparks they feel lead to some very passionate encounters. When she finds herself pregnant, Emily panics, unsure about what to do next. Unfortunately for Daniel and Emily, there are far too many who feel they have a right to judge and weigh in on their relationship, and who hope to force them apart. The interference causes turmoil between them, putting both their professional and personal relationships at risk. They both have to decide if they are willing to fight for their love and each other.
I enjoyed the age gap story. We go on a journey with Emily and Daniel. They meet when she goes for a job as an assistant and it happens to be at the company where Daniel is the CEO. From the first moment he is completely in love with her, and even though there is an age gap between them, they don't let that stop them and soon they give in to their feelings for each other. There is an age gap but they also have a lot in common or think the same about many things. Will they stand a chance despite family and friends not supporting or agreeing with their relationship? This was a page turner and definitely worth reading.

Emily Kline, she was elegant and beautiful. An assistant at Jacobs, Blake, Jameson and Gonzalez” Law Firm. Till she got a better job of course. Shes moved from small town Monroe County to big city Chicago to better herself of course. Daniel Jacob’s, is Head Partner and CEO of said Law Firm. He’s a gorgeous male specimen. They meet of course and things get hot and heavy quickly. A complication comes along that can derail everything. It’s gets interesting and complicated but they do have a happy ending. This is a pretty graphic read, so would say an adult read only..

Daniel saw Emily and knew exactly what he wanted-love that in a man. Emily ensured you felt her emotions throughout. This couple had that spark from the very beginning and you just felt it. All the noise around them really created chaos. The rest of the Kline family had me confused. I understand concern but Evelyn was off the charts. I had a really had time empathizing for her despite knowing exactly where it was going, she needed to grow up herself. Daniel and Emily completely deserved the end result.

In this book we meet Emily & Daniel. Emily is an assistant in Daniel's company. One look at him and she knows she wants more than just to be his assistant. She knows her place though and is sure with his position this is all she will ever be. From the moment Daniel saw Emily he knew there was something different about her and was determined to find it out. The way she makes him feel is like anything he has ever experienced before. Can these two find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Tropes: forbidden, office romance, boss mmc/assistant fmc, age gap, surprise pregnancy.
Emily and Daniel have instant chemistry. Because of her position in the company, she knows that nothing could happen between them. However, they can't fight the attraction towards one another and end up having some steamy times together. When Emily finds out that she is pregnant, she doesn't know what to do, so she hides this from Daniel.
What happens when he finds out? Will they figure out who is after them? Will Emily and Daniel be able to find their HEA? Will their love finally be accepted by those around them?
This was quite the wild reading ride that had too much interference by supposed love ones and friends, and not enough communication. I really got caught up in the drama swirling around Emily and Daniel as they worked their way to a happy ending. Thankfully, love wins out, but it was quite the challenge and had me madly flipping pages to see how things would unfold for this couple. They definitely had some opposites, like wealth and age, but their love was strong...and steamy ;P Good fun!
Daniel the CEO was so starstruck by Emily from the moment he saw her. Emily new to the area took the job as an assistant until she can find a role she went to college for and was smitten with Daniel. They seemed to have so much in common except for the 12 years that separate their ages and the fact that their families and friends did not agree with their relationship.

Daniel the boss, Emily the beautiful young innocent girl, Ava’s story has all the ingredients for an incredible read, the misunderstandings, the families, the co workers everyone is in everyone’s business, so much fun to read, the high, the low, the lies, fall in love with Emily’s story. You won’t be able to put it down, I promised.

I didn't like the dynamic between the main characters. It seemed to me that he was taking advantage of her based on her position at work. his emotions were not strong and expressed enough to make this relationship ok. It wasn't believable and I didn't even feel comfortable reading most of the book because it felt like he was using her for sex. And the relationship with her family is extremely painful. It's surprising how someone who grows up in such an environment remains even remotely normal.

This book was a great read, it brought out sadness, anger and happiness. A love between the CEO and an assistant that was frowned upon by Daniel law partners, his parents, Emily sister and her parents. Daniel parents thought Emily was beneath his standards. Emily sister Evelyn thought he was playing her. With all the negativity, Daniel and Emily fell in love. I give this story five stars and I recommend reading it.
Emily moves to the city for a new job as assistant to Daniel. The chemistry between them heats up. Their families try to interfere with what is going on between them. Will they be able to weather the storm and the unexpected pregnancy?
The author's writing never disappoints and ends with a happy ending.

I just finished reading this book and I suggest you don’t hesitate any longer and start reading it today. You are going to lose yourself instantly in the characters and storyline that is deeply connecting and romantic that you are going to read this book in one sitting like I did. This book deserves a perfect 5-star rating.
This is a story about a young woman from a small town and the Billionaire CEO that was born to a wealthy family. They each feel instant attraction when she is hired but it being a law office makes things more complicated. Great depiction of the differences in standings and the characters are perfect.

Emily and Daniel's story was tense as they had to overcome a vast majority of obstacles coming at them from every direction. The love and chemistry between these two were well written and their character development was great. I really enjoyed this read and found it entertaining.

This book was such a cliché filled with a bunch of issues that could have been solved with one phone call. The book was very rushed and then dragged on for 100 pages only to rush the ending. Honestly I’m disappointed cause I thought this would be a good book with better character development but not all ones can be winners.
Emily and Daniel certainly have a drama filled story. Hot right from the start, their love just grows. But, there are some meddling people who shall not be named, who can't help but stick their noses in. A great steam and drama filled read.

This is such a well written novel with so many misunderstandings and people interfering in the lives of the main characters. The drama is real. The characters are relatable and a few you just want to smack.
Ms. Gray has done a great job with the CEO"s Baby Scandal. I really recommend it.
This story was so amazing. It was a little slow to start but once the story got going it was addictive. If you like your stories spicy, it's definitely got that. I will be rereading this story .
