When it goes over the mechanics, how Titanic was built it's very accurate but then it goes a little bit into story telling and it gets it wrong. It also calls the Britannic the Gigantic at the beginning, it fixes it at the end by giving Britannic a whole chapter. I would recommend only for those who are interested in learning the mechanics of the Ship!

Quick read of basic facts of the short life of the Titanic. However this book should have been titled, The White Star Trio as the book covers all three sister ships - The Olympic, Titanic and Britannic.

The basic story of the building of the great ship and the age she was built in.

Whilst not a huge book, this is a worthy part of my collection. What makes it good, is the fact that it has a collection of lesser known photographs, which as an enthusiast, obviously appeal to me greatly.

Add it to your collection if you can find it.
