After the smoke clears from Dahlia's demise, and their newfound freedom to be together has settled unexpected peace into their lives, Athan Kane and Sarah St. James have yet again been faced with another mystery to solve...and a new threat to deal with.
...John Allan...
As a vague push in the direction of clarity was given to Sarah as to the identity of her father, it seems as though he's also looking for her. With an unnerving reminder that the Black Bird coven may still be intact and out for blood, Athan and Sarah hunt for John with the help of his partner, Sarah's ex, and her best friend, Wren.
Rhaena Northwood has been a wolf without a pack for so long, she has very little idea what to think now that Captain Malcolm Foley has revealed himself to also be a lone wolf. As a new ally joins the search for Sarah's father, they find themselves unintentionally searching for answers to their own mystery...where are all the wolves?
In the epic conclusion to the Nevermore Duet, the band of misfits face a spiral of truths, lies, betrayals, self-discovery, and all the answers to the burning questions that have haunted all their lives...immortal or otherwise.
H.B. Elliott is an over-caffeinated book nerd from North Carolina, where she lives with her husband, her two amazing children, a dog that thinks she's a chew toy, and a cat that's ten times more temperamental.
She started writing in her early teens, and was inspired by dark moody legends like Edgar Allan Poe. Art and photography were a staple in her creative development and remains that way into her adulthood. Her main genre and focus is Romance, though she's acquired a good many hats within that spectrum.
Fantasy is a gateway. Historical fiction is a drug. Dark romance is non-negotiable. Love is more binding than the spine of any book.
Elliott is a firm believer in the Savior, and credits all her success to His name. After all...He's the one who told her she can do all things.
He also still reprimands her on a regular basis of all the smut she continues to read.
All I can say is this is an absolute must read 🔥 The second book of this duet will have you questioning everything, crying, smiling, and feeling all of the emotions. I'm obsessed with how this entire story played out! If you want to feel immersed in a series, this is the one
I LOVE this duet SO MUCH!!! I don't know what will live up to this now?? Angsty, steamy, dark, hilarious, twisty, suspenseful, thrilling, just ALL of the things.
This duet being based around Edgar Allan Poe is amazing, and it’s so different! I love everything about this book from start to finish. I liked the character development and I’ve become even more attached to all of them. I really enjoyed the multi POV, it was easy to keep up with and kept you up to date on everyone involved. I had a prediction that came true which made me scream with joy! Sarah and Wren are seriously amazing and I would totally be friends with them IRL. I really loved Brent’s character development, he’s perfect. Athan changes a lot too, for the better, and he’s 🩸 daddy always. I’m seriously so attached to our group of misfits, I’m going to miss them so much!
5 / 5 ⭐️ 4 / 5 🌶️ never wanted to do it in an elevator before 🫦 Method: KU
Now what am I going to do for the rest of my life… 1,234 pages of the best duology I have ever read.
The story was like nothing I’ve come across - it has characters you want to cheer for and some you wanna just punch in the face! I cried happy tears, I cried sad tears, I kicked my feet like a giggly girl and then the spice 🥵 oh my… good lord 😉
I have no idea what to even read next…. Everything else will be dead to me…..
First off,. Can I just be Sarah now pls? Yes? Okay, thank you! Lol! When I say this is tied for my favorite vampire series EVER that is extreme praise for someone who PRIMARILY reads vampire stories. The whole thing was beyond beautifully written and I'd do anything for a once-a-year novella so this story didn't have to end. All the hats and socks and coats and whatever else off to the author because my god this was just so perfect! I can't wait to have them on my shelves one day!
Really loved this duet!! I enjoyed how all the characters were woven together & how all parts of this duet played out. Twists & turns, love, the mysteries.. all of it was written very well!
