Strangers in town don't usually concern Randi Blake, but when she greets a newcomer by dumping Lobster Bisque all over him not once, but twice - she finds he's not that easy to forget. But Randi has no interest in romance, so she can't understand the extreme reactions she has to his presence. Jordan Lamont jumps at the opportunity to work with famed photographer Dena Russell Kearns. He moves into town, planning only to build his career and technical expertise. He doesn't expect the intense attraction to a prickly waitress who acts more terrified than interested in him. As Jordan and Randi are drawn together, strange things begin happening in town. When the FBI takes Jordan in for questioning, Randi is convinced she has misplaced her trust again. Can Jordan convince her he's innocent? Will Randi listen, or will she end up in danger as well?

I found this book delightful. It is hard to put down. I read it in one day at one sitting. It will uplift you and encourage you and help you to keep moving forward.
What I liked so much about this book is that Lynn showed the struggles with relationships when boy meets girl and that it isn't an overnight success. It takes a while before it develops. Yet Randi and Jordan are drawn to each other at their first meeting as I was with my husband of 30 years. But there were times they were not sure as I was.
As I have been through an experience with the FBI for questioning and falsely accused I could relate to what Jordan went through. It was a difficult time for me and one I don't seem to be able to forget. It changed me forever (and not for the good). My husband is a Deputy and I have lost a lot of what I used to feel for government employees.
But they are just people the same as you and I are.
I could relate to Randi as a waitress since my daughter worked as a waitress and if you ever did, you would tip more.
I enjoyed reading about Squabbin Bay. It makes me want to visit the place.
A very exciting and uplifting read.

Trespassed Hearts (corny name I know, I know) had a very cute outline and idea.
This book was not for learning literature or to impress my English teacher. It is a Christian conservative romance book. *giggle*

Miranda, aka Randi, works two jobs in a little town in Maine as a waitress and a graphic designer. She recently ended a long-term relationship with her high school sweetheart Cal, who had been commiting adultry. Randi doesn't admit it until the end of the book, but she subconsiouslly put up a wall and has a difficult time letting other men in.

Jordan, the hero, moves from a big city to the little town of Squabbin Bay to work for an alleged photographer.

Quick, light-hearted read, which is just what I needed in between longer books. A little predictable, but enjoyable. I liked the innocence of the story and the setting in a small town...could relate well to that, since I'm from a small town as well and I do miss how everyone is so invested in each other's lives. Main character Miranda (Randi) is damaged emotionally from a past relationship gone wrong and scared to take a chance on love. If you need a few days of distraction and like a story with a few giggles, you'll enjoy this one.
