David's part of a group known as the Bratva, the brotherhood. He's the most-powerful strong-man in the Chelyabinsk Oblast, local head of the Russian mafia. His family-roots in the Bratva trace back to the Tsars.
In February of 1993, Ivan drives to David's dacha. Ivan approaches David's guard-house, two men armed with Kalashnikovs. One of the guards approaches Ivan's Mercedes; passenger side. Kalashnikov pointed at Ivan's head. Other guard approaches on driver's walkie-talkie in hand.
Guard 1: "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"I'm Ivan, cousin of David."
Guard 1: "There's no-one here by the name, 'David'. You're mistaken, sir. Please leave, now."
"Call him, or shoot me; I care not which. Do it now, suka!"

Tatiana is 22 when she meets Ivan; he is 36. Ivan meets Tatiana at Kuzka's bar one night in 2006. She's alone; inebriated. The most-beautiful woman Ivan's ever Long hair, big beautiful-clear-blue eyes, symmetrical face, skinny, muscular, flat chested.
Her face contorted, from the alcohol she's already consumed that night. Men are buying her drinks; she's accepting their gifts, knowing, one of these lucky men will be taking her home tonight.
She will clear her bar tab in about two hours; a strange man's bed. This is something she accepts, when she goes out that night. Before put on her fuck-me pumps; caked on her make up; put on her cheap, yet form-fitting dress. She she's getting drunk tonight, some man is going to pay to fill her voids.
Tatiana's unemployed, a drifter just back home from Moscow. She's been employed in part-time prostitute; part-time stripper; full-time drunk.
Tatiana's an alcoholic.
When she has money, she drinks expensive alcohol. When she's broke, she drinks what men will buy her. It's been months since she was sober for a whole day; that day spent in a Moscow jail, after she wraps her shitty little-car around a telephone pole. A blood-alcohol count of .2, in a country with a zero-tolerance policy on drunk driving.
When she's released from (after discharging her jail-tab with the aging, but virile commissar,) no job, no money; kicked-out of the home she's staying in. Her father travels two days to pick her up; they drive home in silence. Tatiana has been on her own, without any contact from home, since age fourteen.

Tatiana's mother also lives in Chelyabinsk, an alcoholic, with an insatiable thirst. Her mother has a different man every year, and unfortunately has full custody raising Tatiana. At age 14 one of these men, one of her mother's suitors, Tatiana's old enough for a relationship. He rapes the young girl one day, when mom's at work.

Men become a means to an end for young Tatiana.
She starts her work day at the local night club. Men buy her drinks; then pay her for sex. She faithfully brings money home every night to her man, until one-day, she interrupts her man with another young-girl in their bed.
Tatiana opens the bedroom door; then cries; right before what remains, of her broken heart, dies.

"It's not her fault, but, one like this can't be fixed.
You perceive her, a bird with a broken wing; all she needs is love and she will be fixed. In reality, she's a dog that's been kicked so much; it's just a mean dog now. She's a wild animal, a feral beast."
