Gigantic, beautifully presented, incredibly nerdy and probably as comprehensive as it could possibly be about the history of football games from 1980 to the early 2010s. It took me months to finish in total, reading it in small doses. The only real downside being that I now feel like I missed out on playing some great games I never actually had access to and wouldn't be able to play now, especially as I found the newest version of Football Manager to be more or less unplayable.
Really enjoyable read and so well written. I've got to highlight the brilliant artwork, and the overall presentation of the book was top notch. Just a shame it's too heavy and bulky to take while travelling! A highly recommended trip down memory lane from the humble 8 bit football games to the modern ultra realistic incarnations now!
