This was a real page turner of a spy thriller, a mix of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and a John le Carre whodunit.

The thrust of the story concerned the ancient conspiracy theory that the Christian Church was built upon a lie and that Judas was the real architect of the faith. The "great betrayer" was, according to the ancient Sicarii, the real Messiah.

Now, in the 21st century, we have fanatical disciples of Judas plotting terrorist acts throughout Europe, with the finale being acted out within the very walls of the Vatican itself.

Intelligence services across Europe and Israel are attempting to thwart these terrorist fanatics, but who is the hunter and who is the hunted?

A tale, well worth reading!
