It's easy to take one's vote and right to vote for granted. It's an inherent part of citizenship, right?
But these compelling biographies of ten woman suffrage leaders spanning the 72+ years of the U.S. movement will help any reader appreciate the exhaustive campaign that finally extended democratic citizenship to women. Inspiring.
