Rise of the Weakest Summoner #10

Rise of the Weakest Summoner: Volume X

Rate this book
The girls' secret plan to surprise Asterios with an unforgettable birthday party was a complete success. Their personal presents were already considered very memorable, but he would never forget the day he was officially elected as a new nation's ruler with a unanimous vote from Glimmervale's residents, not to mention being recognized by the monarchs of humans, demons, and elves. The Dragon Valley's struggles only began, and the dungeon that had manifested beneath the country would be the least of its worries.

With the nation established, the dungeon secured, and the plans for a grand academy arranged, Lord Asterios and his Ladies will take the ultimate test of leading a thriving community into real greatness. They have all the good cards in their deck, but can they build a powerful hand? With things getting widely spread, can they keep their lucky streak going? And most importantly, will they finally fulfill the pledges made with Abyss and Umbra?

Well, they are certainly going to try, even if it means making sure that their new community can stand on its own first, ready to face interdimensional horrors in case their upcoming expedition into the Nethernight Realm goes haywire.

Enjoyed this one a bit more thoroughly

I think this one was more enjoyable, despite it being a side track. Especialy when compared to the arcs in Brynns world. It felt loke things stalled a bit there. Although, that might be because I dislike beurocratc stalling and political backstabbing. Also, not the biggest fan of detailed tournements outside of specific context and even then I prefer the highlights. Like wise I think dungeon delving is best described in long form in stories that center on dungeon life.

This one hit everything pretty perfectly. It made some 'side characters' more compelling and helped lay the ground work for future arcs. All while painting the universe more richly. Nice.

I do hope the random dimension hopping, if brought up again, is used in the right way. Either sparingly and to break up the rest of the story, or each jump providing greater insight and context to some greater arching thing. The latter avoiding the feeling of incompleteness that flash episodic adventures can have (as enjoyable as quantum leap was).

Absolutely in love with this series! This author and series have both landed in my top 3! It’s so hard to choose between them so I collectively consider all of my top 3 as my number 1. This series is filled with ups, downs, and even some sideways action if you know what I mean. The author does an amazing job of presenting the MC as a powerful yet developing character without making him extremely overpowered like many other authors. The storyline is very well thought out and has a wonderful combination of predictable and unpredictable moments.

Absolutely stunning series - terrific writing

I really enjoy how the author paces his stories/books. You get such a better feel for the characters and what is going around them. The author does a masterful job of writing. I am so ecstatic that the author is not rushing to finish the series, but allowing it to fully develop at its own pace. Very hopefully there will be many more books in this series!

the series still keeps my attention after all these books!

I’m still enjoying the series. Altho there are some characters I truly despise now. I also noticed that everyone gets along and is very understanding with each other and no one has a bad mood. Ever. lol. So that’s a bit odd. But still enjoying the read. Can’t wait for the next book.

holy that was great

I mean it. Just a great read, I wish the next volume is out today so I can keep reading. Character development was a little slower, focusing more on bonds and slight gains, while solving problems within different realms.

More training and travels with even the most mundane being complicated. This story never ceases to keep you entertained and reading way past when you wanted to go to bed.

4.5 just for the slower plot speed as far as major events goes. But it was still enjoyable because of the wonderful characters Saileri had created.
