With this DEFINITELY having a different feel to it from the previous paranormal romances that I have read from Emilia, it was such an interesting read!
As we dive into The Breeding Cave, we first meet Yeosin in one of the most mysterious circumstances when first starting a book, and I will admit, Emilia’s romance and spicy smut scenes as always ARE INCREDIBLE. This book had SO MUCH SMUT IT WAS DELICIOUS! What a mouth the beast had! PHEW! But as we head down into the story line, the world building had potential to become a brand-new series! The betrayal of some characters, the plot twists between mates and situations that Yeosin found herself in, which for a certain character that had their interactions with her, their mystery was SO FUN, I did not think that it would have turned out that way! Also shout out to Luciano as he is a mysterious brooding MMC and let’s be honest, WE LOVE THAT.

***ARC Review***
It's more like a 3.5 stars.... It definitely started out as "smut is the plot" vibe. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 But, it does get into some kind of story line. It is kind of chaotic. You are left with a lot of questions, so I'm hoping there's a book 2, to bring it all together. All in all, it was entertaining.

I rated this book at a 4 out of 5. It starts out strong and ends in a vastly different place. I certainly didn't expect everything that happened and the story behind a book titled "The Breeding Cave." The title alone is accurate, if a little deceiving because there is so much more to the book. All in all, a good book that I couldn't put down but you might want a longer book with more story and character development in order to do it justice.

This was a case of "they had me in the first half, not gonna lie". I was really into this book in the first half but I HATED the second half. Also, IT ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER. ugh
THOUGHTS:
- I loved the first half premise, a heroine in need of funds agrees to be bred by a monster billionaire , it's smutty goodness, what's not to love?
- well. to be blunt the second half of the book COMPLETELY ruins everything for me. out of nowhere there are all these new characters, lore, a prophecy, a mystery, kidnapping, new monsters and graphic birth with like NO setup for any of that in the first half.
- I came for smutty breeding cave vibes (like the title suggests) and ended up with a chaotic and kind of random plot towards the / middle / end. I honestly think this could have been perfect without all the bs at the end IMO
- no spoilers but if I read a book about m and f protagonists.... I assume that's who we see as the couple. I do not want there to be a "oh but actually she's mated with XYZ too"... like what?? you build a whole romance between the two and then just toss in a random prophecy to add some more random guys??
- also, huge pet peeve of mine is long dead characters being resurrected and cliffhangers... and we get both. ugh.
- I will say the smut was pretty hot and I did like the two main characters together lol.

Just when you thought you might have a slight obsession with breeding kinks...think again! We first meet our FMC Yeosin aka Alana as she prefers to be called, and we learn that she is having to find a way to pay off her loser ex-boyfriend's debts to a dangerous gang called the Dragon Clan. The only way she can do that is by spending the night with a billionaire who she was hand picked by... and this is only the beginning! She soon finds out it's a night in what is called the breeding cave. This is where the real fun begins. A night of mind blowing passion with a beast she never expected confuses her but intrigues her in the best way. After all that, he tells her that she will be his to use until she is bred with his babies and in return she will receive ten million dollars. Will that be enough to pay off the debts? Will she be able to finally be free from the clan, can she figure out who this beast really is? Here's a small hint... she already knows him. Lol! Get ready for a wild ride of twists, turns, heartache, extremely steamy scenes, and your heart being healed all at the same time. This book is one of my all time favorites! I'm sure it will be yours too.

At first I was a little unsure of this one. The giving your body to get money has been done before. Numerous times. But WOW was I wrong with this one!
The complex reasons of starting out as sex for pay along with the all consuming passion between the FMC & MMC scorched the pages until my fingers burned. The way Emilia delves into the history of each character interweaving the love, the loss and the complexity of each person well is amazing. You feel each win each loss and most definitely each coming together. The steamy oh so hot sex and love scenes will leave you just as needy and wanting as the characters. Be sure to keep the wine chilled and maybe a few charged items nearby. You will need them.
As I have come to expect Emilia once again hits that home run this time passing into a very very special cave.
So sit back turn on some sultry music lite a few candles and prepare to be whisked away to The Breeding Cave.

I am not always the biggest fan of PNR books, but I really enjoyed everything about this book. I didn't want to put it down because I needed to know what was going to happen with Yeosin. There were quite a few unexpected twists and lots of steamy scenes.
I liked Yeosin and loved how she got stronger as the book progressed, but I absolutely adored the beast! He has not had it easy and is just trying to rebuild his pack. He is possessive, obsessive, and everything you may want in a beast/MMC. I really liked the dynamics between these characters and enjoyed the epilogues!
Emilia Rose definitely has a great PNR with this book and I would love to see more of these characters. She left a few loose ends that I am hoping mean, other books may come in the future.

I litterly thought that this author couldn’t suprise me anymore and this is what she did BIG TIME. Only regret I got was it ended to fast 🫣🤣

You get so much much adventure in this book not wanting to stopp reading because you need answers to your next question.

This book kept me on my toes the whole time. These are the characters you keep rooting for the world that you get sucked into!

I have been reading Emilia Rose now for over five years and I have loved each and every story she has realsed and with every story they have just kept getting better. This story is absolutely no explanation I was crying , laughing , and in complete shock with the twists and plot turns all the way though especially when I had written off one plot twist myself. Emilia hasn't lost her talent for inspiring your imagination when building the world and characters in your head. Plus I felt every emotion that the main characters were feeling at that point in time. This was an emotional ride that I will be taking as soon as I receive my physical copy though the post. I will definitely be buying this as a present and recommending this book to all my friends

This story has everything. Steamy heat and a sweet love. I enjoyed the way Yeosin emerges and develops as a character. I HATE her ex boyfriend and seeing who he is as a person but I LOOOVE her man Luciano. The characters are all unique and well flushed out with the plot. I enjoyed seeing this world and how well Emilia made it - I could visualize each character and the environments as if they were real. I want to comment more specifics but I don’t want to give any spoilers away.
Also, if you’re wondering if this story is HOT, it made me realize I had kinks I never even knew about ;)

Super steamy shifter romance that kept me guessing at every chapter end. There were so many plot twists and turns and while at the time some of them didn't make any sense, they all started to finally come together and wrapped up neatly (ish) at the end. There's still some mystery left with Gideon, but hopefully there will be a book 2 one day that will delve further into his story.

The Breeding Cave by Emilia Rose was the fascinating, engrossing story of Luciano and Yeosin. She works at a coffee shop and needs money to pay off debt her ex left her with. Luciano is a surly customer at the shop. But, then she hears of a way she can a lot of money…if she survives….
Whew…what a world this writer has created here!!! I was completely immersed in it!!! So much happening between these two…and within this world of supernatural creatures. I can’t wait for more!!!!

Emilia's writing captivates from the beginning of this story, and doesn't let go even when you reach the end. Luciano & Yeosin still live in my head. You have so many aspects of paranormal creatures woven in this spicy, plot driven story, it's captivating. I'm really hoping there will be more books in this series. Highly recommend.

Having read and liked a few of Emilia Rose's short stories on Ream, I was excited to read my first full-length novel by her, and I'm so glad I did! I must admit that I found the beginning a bit slow and the rest a little chaotic at times due to its fast pace and focus on plot rather than character development, but The Breeding Cave is engaging, funny, mysterious, steamy, and sweet, with likable, (mostly) relatable characters, interesting conflicts, entertaining twists and turns, and fantastic world-building. I love how Luciano and Yeosin's story unfolds (they're absolutely adorable), and I would love to read a book about Gideon after that tantalizing ending!

I LOVED this book. Once i started it, i couldn't put it down. She is such an amazing writer and does a great job of making you feel her characters emotions. Their fear, anxiety, love, lust, all of it. I have read many of ger books and this one is just as anazing as the rest!

Can’t believe it took Yeosin so long to realise the beast was Luciano, especially with some of the things he would say or do to her, or even when she recognised his watch!
The multiple POV’s gave perfect accounts of how each of the characters felt, and their inner turmoil around some of their choices.
The story was intense, and had me intrigued, shocked, in awe of the characters at times. It was a rollercoaster of emotions…but definitely worth the ride! Both heart pounding and heart stopping at times.
I do have some questions like was Gideon working with the Dragons all along? Including when the pack originally got attacked? How is Lucianos mother a phoenix? If she’s a phoenix, doesn’t that mean Luciano is too?
