Three stars.

It would have been better if the author wasn't plugging products every chapter. Other then that, it was a easy read to freshen up on essential oils.

One big advertisement

This book read like one big advertisement pushing a specific brand of essential oils and other products. It makes me trust the information less. I suggest finding a different option to get you started with essential oils.

Not particularly useful or well thought out, this ebook reads like an infomercial replete with hotlinks to buy products. It's more like a teaser, the second half of the book is filled with preview chapters for other books, as is the recipe portion of the book. Disappointing, to say the least. Author haphazardly lists essential oils in random configurations, and has not proofread the manuscript. Some oils are capitalized, others are not. Especially lavender, as if it were a girl's name. Sarah Joy can't even get the title sorted out—with random capitalization. Then, there's just the plain wrong words spelled right used. Breathe is used when she meant the word breath. Save your breath, just say no and pass this one by.

Good info on mixing essential oils but...

This is a pretty short, easy read. I will keep it as a guide for using essential oils because there is a good section on mixing them (how much of each, how to mix them, and what health conditions to use them for). The only thing I didn't particularly care for are the advertisements and links. I wondered if this book was written with the genuine intention to inform and help the reader, or whether it was written to promote a company. Overall, I still think this is worthwhile reading, especially if you're new to using essential oils like I am.

Given To Me For An Honest Review

This book has some interesting information in it. Although I liked the information about making essential oils and using them to help calm a person down, using them to relieve stress and anxiety if used properly; I didn't really agree with using them to lose weight. These oils can be used in a variety of ways such as topically and as aromatherapy. This was an interesting read. I recommend it if you are looking for a new way to lose weight other than the usual way.

Okay guide

I gave this 2 stars for explaining common uses for each oil. It really could have been better if there were specific recipes for the ailments within the book. There are some recipes at the end of the book, but all of the rest of the information is so generalized that I don't know where to start or what oils to use or how much.

Good to know

This book is interesting. The author does not cite her references or give credit to herself as having done any research, but it is interesting to know that there are so many oils and plants that really can affect the body.

I LOVED the simple style that was perfect for me as a beginner. It was well organized and easily read. The recipes were presented in a clear manner following a listing of individual oils. I would definitely purchase an additional book by this author.
