My favorite aspects of the book were the vivid Nigerian backdrop of Lagos ,the engaging dialogue,the slow-burning romance between Eriife and Jay,Eriife, the strong and empowering female lead.Aminat's writing is captivating and immersive, with a natural flow that draws readers into her vivid world. She masterfully blends humor, romance, and emotional depth, crafting a narrative that's both entertaining and thought-provoking. The dialogue shines with its sharp wit, authenticity, and personality, while the incorporation of Nigerian culture, expressions, and everyday life adds depth and relatability, making the story a compelling read for all.
Overall, this book is a charming and engaging read, perfect for those who enjoy billionaire romances infused with Nigerian culture. I was excited to get into this book after reading the short-story prequel, and I was not disappointed.

Rebound follows the story of Jayeola and Eriife and how they navigate their class difference and office romance. I enjoyed seeing more of Jayeola's character development, and how beautifully Aminat weaved the secondary characters together.

I am very excited about book 2!

This book is a solid 5⭐️, no exaggeration. It’s a billionaire office romance with everything I love. Jaiyeola and Eriife completely stole my heart.

wow!!
This was my first time reading a book by this author, and I honestly loved it. The story pulled me in from the start, and I really enjoyed how it ended, not perfectly, but in a real, heartwarming way.
I love that it gave me hope and reminded me that happy endings can still exist, even if they don’t look the way we expect.
I can’t wait to read more books from this author. 💛
