In the year 2080, the Earth was a shadow of what it once was. The AGI Wars of the 2030s had devastated the planet. The Artificial General Intelligence that once showed promise to help mankind only enhanced its obsession for destruction. The fallout from the AGI Wars had a huge environmental impact, and Humanity was left in ruins, struggling to survive. Seeing an opportunity to assert their dominance, private corporations used their advanced technology to seize control.

Joe Walker and his friends took it upon themselves to expose the truth and restore humanity's freedom. During a high-priority mission to gain access to a highly classified secret facility, they discovered a technology so advanced that it challenged everything they thought they knew about human potential.

When the mission goes sideways, Joe wakes up to find that his consciousness had been transferred to a biomechanical body against his protests. Now, he has to navigate this dangerous new reality that he has been forced into, where the line between human and machine blurs. Who can he now trust when his very existence challenges what it means to be human?

As Joe navigates through the adaptation of his new transformation, he finds out that humanity’s future now depends on the choices he never wanted to have to make. With his best friends at his side, he must uncover the truth behind the creation of this new technology before it is too late.

AI Assistance Notice: In the spirit of transparency, with the intention of ensuring that readers do not feel scammed or deceived. I want to acknowledge that this novel was created with the assistance of AI tools. While I did use AI tools to help me with the articulation of my story. All creative decisions including narrative structure, character development, and plot direction were conceived, directed, and refined by me. Just as my character Joe navigates the intersection of humanity and AI, this book represents the human collaboration between myself and AI assistance. Andre Sierra

Amazing!

In a world where the future often feels uncertain, this book is a stark reminder of both the fragility and strength of humanity.
Andre crafts a chilling vision of 2080, where humanity teeters on the edge of extinction after the devastating AGI Wars. The remnants of civilization are controlled by ruthless pharmaceutical corporations, whose hasty attempts to address global crises have left the world ravaged by infertility and despair. Against this bleak backdrop, Joe Walker and his companions emerge as beacons of hope, their fight for justice and humanity’s survival a testament to the strength of the human spirit.
What truly sets J.O.E. Transcendence apart is its exploration of moral ambiguity. The villains are not caricatures but products of a broken system, their motivations nuanced and hauntingly real.
Riveting, thought-provoking, and emotionally resonant, J.O.E. Transcendence will leave readers eagerly awaiting the next installment. Prepare to be enthralled.

Holy Smokes! Make sure you have your seatbelt on. This one is a page turner. If AI was used to write this, I can't imagine how much manual editing it took to create this work, it flows so well and weaves a fairly complex story line together well spanning many chapters. What a great story, I'm amped for the next book in this series!! Joe Walker is our savior!! and now Jamie! ... BTW, I found out what J.O.E. means ... easter egg well hidden there author :D

The author, Andre Sierra, provides insight into the future of AI and one of the paths that we will travel with the moral and ethical dilemmas that will define us. Will our humanity remain intact as is or evolve into something all together different?
An excellent read and leaves you questioning just what you believe, how AI should be nurtured, and your role in the greatest concept since the invention of the wheel.
J.O.E. Transcendence is book one of the trilogy and looking forward to the new arrivals.

This was a great book.

I appreciate the author's honesty about using AI to assist in the making of this book. The AI Usage Notice after the title page was very informative about the process in which he used it. Hopefully this doesn’t deter other people from reading the book. I very much enjoyed the book.

This book caught me by surprise in the best way possible. Set in a future where AI and powerful corporations dominate society, the book delivers a perfect blend of action and thought provoking ideas. The author does a great job building tension while exploring questions about humanity, technology, and loyalty.

The characters are well developed, and their relationships feel authentic. You really care what happens to them. The pacing keeps you engaged from start to finish, with enough twists to keep you guessing.

Great read for anyone who enjoys scifi that combines action with deeper themes. Already looking forward to the next book!

I enjoy the book very much. I was a very good read, I really appreciated the larger text in the book as well. It made the reading experience that much easier. The book had a really a good pace with plenty of detailed action. The story kept me interested from start to finish. It could have used just a tab bit more character development with one of the characters, but overall it was still a good story. First a first time author it was a good job. With all that is going on now with AI, the book definitely makes you think about the future more. Great job for a first time author, it was great first book.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book, but wow - I'm glad I picked it. The story is really great. The main character Joe gets his mind put into a new body (which is pretty wild), and things just take off from there. Lots of really good action scenes, the dynamic between the characters was really good. I found myself staying up way too late because I had to know what happened next! If you're into sci-fi with both action and heart, give this one a shot. Already hoping for a sequel!

Incredible SciFi book, by Andre! The book has a lot of suspense, and really opens up a future time in which AGI and AI converge, and are used to not only save a man from certain death, but make him an incredible individual. It is greatly written, and worth every minute of your time. Andre also weaves an amazing storyline in the book. I enjoyed reading J.O.E Transcendence, and highly recommend this book.

This was a really great story from beginning to end. I really enjoyed how this book is somewhat relevant to what is going on now with AI and what it could be capable of. I definitely recommend the book to anyone who loves sci-fi and wants to explore what a possible future could hold with AI and the possibility of human evolution alongside technology.

Full disclosure: I did not finish this book. In fact, I only got a few chapters in. I gave up because it felt like I was reading about the story instead of reading the actual story. Maybe it gets better later, but if so, then what I was reading should have been a prelude.
