Ryker Rosse.
Tattoos, sinful body…and his eyes. His eyes are irresistible.
He is captivating. He treats me with respect.
He sees me.

MY RATING: ☆☆☆☆ "RUSH INTO YOU" by Brianna Lee

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Complimentary copy provided by the author "Brianna Lee" in exchange for an honest review.

The beginning of this story threw me, I found it really hard to get into, it wasn't until about the third chapter that for me (and this is only my opinion) it started picking up and I could not put it down!! Plus it's not until the end when you are privy to Gabby's full story but you are thrown little pieces that you have to put together..

And shhhh but don't tell the author this but she WILL be on my STALKERS route seeing what else she has install for us!!

So imagine a bad judgement call, one night that changed Gabby's life completely from being the beautiful popular girl to scum of the earth where the whole town turned on her, turning up at a bar and getting served piss water (watered down beer - not what she ordered) but thinking that's all she deserved until a new bar tender showed her differently..He listened and saw something worth fighting for..

"My days and nights were filled with only two things, getting drugs, and getting high, none of the men I'd been with since the accident were for personal pleasure, if I couldn't afford a bag of dope to feed my addiction, I paid with the only thing I could - SEX, I considered it my punishment."

"I just like to ride. I don't make a big deal out of winning."
"Looks as if everyone else does. Must mean you're pretty good then."
I"m alright." He grinned, looking up at me.
"All right enough for me to bet on you?" I teased
"You don't need to blow money on these guys." He waved his hand dismissively at the crowd. "We can make our own bet though."
If I win you're leaving here with me on the back of my bike. And I want your lips on mine tonight."
"And if you lose?" I whispered.
"I don't lose." he shook his head, his smoldering blue eyes piercing into mine.
"Those lips are still mine, and you're still on my bike."

I loved this debut book, I loved the plot, it felt very original and I was hooked throughout.

The story is about Gabby. Gabby used to have it all she was popular in school had a good life. Then one night changed everything for Gabby. Gabby use drugs to numb the pain and sex to pay for the drugs. Then she meets Ryker is a tattooed hot motorcycle who Gabby notices actually sees ‘her’ and treats her with respect.

It was very easy to connect to the characters in the book. I like the way that the author drip fed you parts of Gabby’s past so you work out what happened to her and I also look Ryker how he treated Gabby and waited for her to open up to him. The story has great emotion as well. It flows really well. As well as the romance side there is plenty of drama and action especially towards the end story. I was griped through the book.

I really enjoyed this and it will be another that I will add to my list for future reads.

This debut novel by Brianna Lee had my adrenaline rushing at the prologue. I had to read more. My emotions were all over the place with the ups and the downs of Gabby and Rykers story. I could not put it down and it left me thinking about it for hours after finishing.

Rush Into You has a compelling synopsis and amazing cover that made me want to read it badly, but sad to say, I was greatly disappointed by this book.

Gabby used to have it all. Being a cheerleader and part of the debate team, she was popular in their town. That is, until everything changed that night. She used drugs and alcohol to numb away the pain. Everyone hates her now, that's why she was so surprised when Ryker, the bartender in the bar that night talked to her.

Gabby felt respected for the first time since that night, and she feels like Ryker can see through her. But then something happens, and Gabby doesn't see Ryker until years later.

The premise of the book was so compelling that I had high hopes for this book. But all I felt was disappointment. It was driving me crazy how much I couldn't connect with Gabby, and I didn't feel anything throughout the whole. My mind was telling me that this book was supposed to be heart-clenching, but my heart couldn't feel anything! Also, I knew in my mind that Ryker was a really good guy and does all the swoony things, but I didn't feel one bit towards him. I was so frustrated because of that!

Towards the middle of the book when Ryker was asking Gabby about her past, I felt a bit annoyed by how repeating and over-dramatic Gabby's words were, and I felt like punching her! I hated how the suspense was dragged on for so long, only to get to the end and find out that it's just that.

It's not exactly boring, because I managed it, but it's not exactly fun either. I'm not saying that this book was bad and you shouldn't read it or anything like that, but for me, it was just neutral. I don't feel anything. I feel like I'm not making much sense now so I should probably stop, but let me just say that the story is amazing, but I just can't connect. Maybe it's more of a personal taste kind of thing. Others seemed to have liked it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm really stopping now, bye!

Rush Into You has been on my most anticipated novel list for the last few months. When I had the chance to read it prior to it's release, I jumped all over it. I wasn't disappointed. The first chapter made me say wow and I was hook from that point on.
I loved the idea of the story and the way Brianna Lee laid it out kept my attention. It was an emotional reading experience.
Gabby was a complex character and her predicaments seemed extreme, but still believable.
I fell in love with Ryker and the way he got is name is reason enough to read it. LOL funny!
I wanted him to have a few more flaws, but tattoo'ed biker guy who loves his woman hard, never get's old.
The ending was a bit predictable, but not in an annoying or boring way. It's one of those tricks of story telling where the writer makes the end mirror the beginning, but I enjoyed it all the same.
Rush Into You is just the beginning for this talented writer and I can't wait to read more.

I really didn't know what I was getting into when I started Rush Into You, however, I was blown away with the intensity of this book. There was so much emotion that I just couldn't put it down once I started. The characters were phenomenal my heart really went out to Gabby and the struggles of her life. I just have to say I really love reading a book that I can relate to or connect with characters on so many levels and Brianna Lee did that for me. Then we have Ryker who is so HOT!!! Of course he's kind of a bad boy with his illegal motorcycle racing but he wears his heart on his sleeve and makes your heart swell with the things he says. I can't wait to see what comes next in the Rush Series, Brianna Lee has gained a big time fan in me and I am siked to see where this new author's journey goes.

It's the honesty and rawness in a book that I look for. I long for. I need to see that poignant moment - that moment with so much intensity I might get burnt from reading...
I give you - Rush Into You!!!

An unbelievable 4.5 ***** from The Sassy Bookista!!

Reading this book for me was like a whirlwind. I never knew where it was going or how the moments would play out. After the prologue, I was in tears. Tears I tell you! I felt as broken as Gabriella Carter was. I saw the horror of how, in an instant, someone could be changed. But it's not until later in the book I found out the sequence of events that led to the moments in those beginning pages. I can honestly say, that this book moved me. Gabby was an addict and a very much hated person in her community. Everyone knew her - for the wrong reasons. The intricacies were stunning! How the author takes a piece of time and just catapults the reader into the story. To feel Gabby's pain, to feel her guilt and regret. Wow! This was a different read than what I'm used to. The events in this book are as raw as they come. There is no sugar coat on them. It was hard to read those very low moment of a characters life. Even as I despised Gabby for the things she was doing - I loved her! I loved her sense of self in ways I really couldn't see yet but knew they were coming. I loved her tenacity - again, there were no immediate ways to describe this, but I knew her best days were ahead of her. I feel this much for a character was shocking. Don't get me wrong folks, I have read many a book that I really felt them. That palpable tension - good or bad. But with Rush Into You - there's no way to describe it but to say I felt for her. Not just the things of Gabby's past, but the things that were to come for her. She see's herself as the lowest scum and treats herself that way, too. Gabby has had an emotional life - but she tries to block all the feeling out. Becoming a numb shell of someone who once was. So I felt for her - for the light at the end of the tunnel of turbulence that she couldn't yet see.

"The life I lived was my purgatory, and I was only alive so that I could suffer for all my sins."

Gabby finds Ryker Rosse at a moment when she needs him the most. Ryker saved her. In more ways than one. I saw him as a guardian angel sent from above. He was tall, tattooed and lean. The most memorable thing about Ryker - aside from everything! - are his eyes. They are blue and yellow. "...like sapphires and gold." *sigh* I know, right! Back to the important stuff... Ryker works as a bartender. But he also races bikes. Illegal, street bike races are his livelihood. Makes him seem bad boy - but he's really not. He's also got a painful history. But he has had to overcome a few things in his life as well. We get one chapter in his POV and it's heart-stopping. What happens in this chapter becomes his secret and it stripped me to my core. But it was beautiful too. The urgency, the care, the compassion and utter strength Ryker shows in that chapter are nothing short of amazing! And he continues with these traits throughout the book. The intensity between Ryker and Gabby melted me. He was the only one to speak to her, to treat her as she believed she didn't deserve. Ryker brought a sparkle to her eyes. He saw the beauty in her when no one else did. Saw that there was something more to Gabby. He knows what she used to be. He saw first hand, but the actual chain of events that led her to that lifestyle...she's keeping close to her. Ryker wants to strip the walls bear and break them down. He wants to help carry the weight of her guilt and regret she constantly feels. Ryker was pretty amazing all around. He's one of the most respectful book boyfriends I've ever read.

"This is a f*@ked up way to tell you, and not how I planned it al all, but I love you. I f*@king fell in love with you, Gabby."

This is yet another book I could chat about for days to come! The chemistry Ryker and Gabby share is off the charts scorching HOT!! The passion that burns between them even brighter. They are two people simply meant to be together, fated to be together. Two characters that I loved every second of reading. The issues in the book are real. More real than many other problems in our world. Some moments are gritty, dark, frightening, daunting. I thought - how does one get over such tragedy? Only to have their world almost taken from them. How do strangers get through such horrific events in time? Then we have moments that are touching, raw. Moments filled with euphoria and hope. It is those moments that make walking through the dark worth it. Those moments of being at her lowest of lows... Gabby Carter found herself rushing into the light. Rushing Into Ryker Rosse.

The life I lived was my purgatory, and I was only alive so that I could suffer for all of my sins.

Do you ever find those books that from the minute you read the blurb and see the cover you just KNOW they are going to be something special? It doesn’t happen too often for me, but from the minute I saw the cover reveal, I knew this was going to be one of those books. I am a lover of good writing and broken characters; the more damaged the better! Finding this combination from a debut author is rare, but when you do, you grab on tight and never let go. I was attracted to the cover, drawn in by the blurb, and the content settled in my heart only solidifying its rightful place. Like the characters when they were the motorcycles, this Rush Into You took me on a ride like no other and I never wanted it to end.

I saw nothing.
I felt nothing.
I was nothing.

You’ve no doubt read many books that deal with the aftermath of drunken driving. What was so unique about this story however was it centered on the person who unknowingly caused it. Like the drugs Gabby took to cope, it will be a bitter pill to swallow. How do you reconcile a character who, though it was an accident, knowingly got behind the wheel of a vehicle intoxicated? How can you forgive this character who cannot even forgive herself? The answer is simply that you get to know her. You live her grief, you see how deeply she struggles, and you experience all the hatred that is thrown her way. Then you watch her hit rock bottom and slowly start to turn her life around. There’s no fixing the damage Gabby caused. There’s no happy ending for the lives she took. But there can be forgiveness for a stupid mistake. And forgiveness for and from everyone involved is the only way to continue living life. How, why, and does this happen is just something you will have to read for yourself. There is no right or wrong answer. There just is.

“Still leaving on the back of my bike?”
“Only if your lips are still planning on being on mine.”

I enjoyed not only Gabby’s road to redemption but also the love story of her and Ryker immensely. The way he was there for her unconditionally, even only knowing part of her story and the reasons behind what drove her. From where they met to where they ended, the road was paved with heartfelt confessions and just learning to live again. They accepted each other so fully it brought tears to my eyes. For truly, if you seek it, there can always be forgiveness and redemption. I am a firm believer in everything coming full circle, and this book does that and more. Phenomenal debut from this debut author and I look forward to future installments in this extension series.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that the main character started the book at the lowest point of her life and it's at the point that she meets the man who is going to change her life.

Gabby made a horrible decision after her high school graduation that took her from being popular to being a outcast. She doesn't deal with the downfall well, turning to drugs and alcohol to numb the guilt and hate she receives from everyone in her small town. Gabby gets her wake up and I applaud her for turning her life around. For everything that she had been through, I could understand her downward spiral, so I was happy to see she was determined to dig herself out of the hell she was living in.
Ryker was a pretty special guy. He was able to see Gabby the first time he met her, even though she was cloaked in despair. When he found her again a year later and saw the changes in her, he did what he had to in order to make sure she didn't disappear again. He showed Gabby, in many ways, that she was worthy of love. He may have looked like a bad boy who raced motorcycles, but he was a big softy who definitely went all squishy for Gabby.

I look forward to see ing what Brianna Lee has in store for us with this series. This was a great start.

Gabby was in a terrible accident and 2 of her best friend died due to the horrific accident. 5 years later Gabby is addicted to heroine. And She meets Ryker. Ryker is hot and sweet and the first person to treat her with respect and not some pond scum. He gives her ride home and leaves. Something makes him go back and He finds her almost OD.

Now 18 mths later she is clean and runs into Ryker again. Even know she doesn't realize he was the one that saved her that night. They still have massive chemistry.

This book was very emotional. It had such sad parts and you root for Gabby constantly hoping that she will embrace love. It offers you heartache, pain of the past. and even sizzling hot sexy scenes. Both Gabby And Ryker to me seem like a couple that should be together. But so much about Gabby’s past is hard for her to get past. Will the past prevent Gabby from moving on and allowing love into her life. And Will Gabby’s secret be to much for Ryker. You will have to read this awesome book to find out!!

Intriguing‚ compelling and highly emotional debut novel.

Rush Into You gives us the story of Gabby and Ryker. Gabby´s perfect live disappeared one night. Since that night her all world was falling to pieces and she was becoming an addict more and more. She was using drugs and sex to make the pain disappear‚ to be numb just for a bit. But that bit was never long enough and then she would do it all over again.

Her life took another turn when she met him. Ryker is a book boyfriend material. He is hot‚ tattooed guy who drives motorcycle but most of all he is a guy who sees her and he wants to fight for her.

Brianna did a good job in bringing the raw emotions and delivering them. The storyline was original with great pace and it was enjoyable to read.

This is a story like no other I have read. Sad yet promising, reading about Gabby and her past was emotional and uplifting at the same time. Ryker seemed to come along just at the right time and I found myself rooting for their relationship. There's a rawness to the story and a realness that something that happened to Gabby could happen to anyone. I am so flattered to have been able to read this great story before the rest of the world has a chance. As a writer, Brianna Lee also taught me a lot about crafting the story. If you are looking for a quick read that is outside the normal romance genre, Rush Into You is fantastic.

What a ride! I was honored to beta read for Brianna and I'm sure glad she gave me the opportunity! I enjoyed this story from start to finish! Gabby is a character full of internal turmoil and a raging battle with herself and her addiction. She fights the mistakes of her past in an attempt to move on with her life, but at what cost? She was a complex character that left me with the feels. Ryker was a tattooed biker with a lot of heart and a lot of love for Gabby as their relationship grew.
This is a story everyone should read <3 So proud of you, Brianna!

Gabby had it all until she was left with nothing. She lost everything in her life, and it had caused her to spiral down into oblivion – lost and broken.

The poor judgment on that one fateful night had changed everything. Everyone hated her, judged her, and treated her like she was the worst person in town. Even a leper would have treated nicer. She was shunned.

It was not long until Gabby turned into drugs, and sell her body for it. It’s awful. I watch her slowly self-destructing with no one to save her. What happened? I wanted to know how the pain, and the loss brought her to this. I wanted to hug her, to comfort her, to show her some compassion because the people that surround her thought of her badly, and I wanted to do something good for her. I hated to see someone being treated like that. No wonder she resorted to drugs (not that I condone it), but where else would she go when all the doors are closed? When she is being judged without even hearing her explanation?

Then came Ryker – he was someone new in town and offered her something that was never given to her by anyone since the incident – RESPECT. And even during the first chapter of this book, I was already half in love with him. He was the unexpected in this novel. He was kind to her, even though he knew exactly what was happening to her, he didn’t judged her, he saw the sadness and emptiness in her eyes before he saw all those marks on her arms. And by the end of their night, no matter how much he wanted her, he didn’t have sex her. Total mood killer, but hey, he has his reasons. And finally, he did what other people refused to do, he saved her.

Months later, their paths once again crossed. Perhaps it was fate, or perhaps it was chance. But I was glad that they saw each other after that night. This time, Gabby was sober. She was clean. She was no longer doing drugs or booze, and most especially, she was studying to become a nurse. Her path was straight, and her past remained a secret. She chose to live a new life, with a new friend, namely Jay leaving the past and all the pain behind.

As for Ryker, now that Gabby was back in his life, he would not dare to let her go again. But first, they needed to come clean of the past, it’s their only way to move forward. Good thing that Ryker wasn’t the kind of man who would run away easily. This guy? He totally had my heart for sticking through thick and thin, through the good and bad. That – that is TRUE LOVE. He didn’t run away when he knew about everything, he opted to stay and give his support – which was what she needed in the first place.

Just when everything was falling into places, her past reached out to her, making her spiral down once again – things were getting out of control, and she wanted Ryker to just leave her alone. She hated herself, it was just a matter of time before he would hate her too – or so she thought. This guy was head over hills in love with her, and there was no way he’d hate her. I hope she realized it before something happened to Ryker, and she will lose him for real…

The twist that had me gasping in surprise and my heart knocked out of its place. I think I felt more pain when it happened than during the first chapters when my heart broke for the girl who was hated by everyone.

One of my favorite parts were beautifully written paragraphs in which Gabby thought of the love she wanted. I have read it again and again, it was what I want or perhaps what most girls wished for.

“I wanted to be his first choice. I didn’t want a second rate love. I wanted true love.”

Rush Into You was a great read that kept me on my seat. I fell in love with the characters, you will feel for them, understand them, lose your hearts on them, and they will make you wish so hard for a happy ending. It’s Gabby’s journey towards forgiveness and healing, it’s her journey towards change, towards a new life and towards love. It can be a little emotional, there was some light moments, and I think I will never ride a merry go-round again without thinking about this book! Brianna Lee wrote a book that will make you see people who are using and abusing substances in a different light. Perhaps, it’s just a silent plea for help. Perhaps there is a more profound reason why they got hooked in the first place, and it is not in our position to judge. Rather than throwing judgments, we should offer help and support. Ryker helped Gabby, treated her with respect and kindness, and it made a difference.

Rush Into You is the debut novel from Brianna Lee, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This book was really good though and I really enjoyed it. The characters were great, and I really liked Brianna's writing style. This book had a great flow to it and I thought the pacing was perfect. I was hooked right away and didn't put this one down until I had finished. I was really surprised with how great of a book this was for being a debut novel, but after reading Rush Into You I can't wait to read more from Brianna Lee.

Gabby had everything until a tragic accident took it all away from her. Now everyone hates her and blames her for the accident that took so much away from them. She stays away from everyone as much as she can, and she uses drugs to dull the pain and as a way to escape. Then one night she meets Ryker, and not only does he know nothing about her but he treats her better than anyone has since before. But then Gabby overdoses and is sent to rehab to cure her drug problem. Now over a year later, Gabby and Ryker run into each other again and realize that they still feel the same pull between them. Ryker and Gabby grow closer to each other the more time they spend together, but Gabby still hasn't told him about her past. Ryker knows that Gabby has secrets, but he is determined to show her that they don't matter to him and that they can get through anything together. But will Gabby be able to open up to him and tell him everything when she fears that it will make him run from her?

I loved Ryker. Being a tattooed biker with a hot body that wants more than just sex, Ryker is pretty much the sexiest book boyfriend ever. He was so sweet and patient, and was also a really great guy. He took care of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was such a big part of his sister and niece's lives and wasn't willing to settle for someone who wouldn't accept all that went with that. I loved that he was willing to let Gabby open up to him in her own time though. He really cared about her, and he went out of his way to show her that she could trust him and that he would always be there for her. Gabby had been through a lot, and suffered from a mistake that she made at a young age. I am not excusing her actions, because they are never acceptable, but she didn't ever intend to hurt anyone and she had lost just as much as others had. Not only did she lose a lot, but she also had to live with the guilt of what she had done and suffer through everything alone. I loved that Ryker was able to get her to live again and help her begin to heal. Ryker was so good for Gabby, and I thought that he was exactly what she needed. I love that he never gave up on her, and you could tell that they had such a great connection. They also were extremely attracted to each other and had off the charts chemistry! But I was so glad that they took things slow and didn't rush right into the physical side of their relationship. I thought it made the bond that they were forming that much more real and believable.

I really enjoyed this book and I thought that it was a great debut novel and start to a series. Brianna intends to write more books in this series with interconnected characters, but she said we will also see more of Ryker and Gabby. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next, and get to know some of the other characters better. I really hope that we get to see more of Ryker's friend Hendrix next! While I really enjoyed this book and the characters, I did feel that Gabby waited too long to tell Ryker what had happened. He gave her so many chances and showed her time and time again that he wouldn't think any less of her or love her any less. But it seemed to drag out a bit, and I felt like she should have made the decision to say something sooner. Because of everything that happened, he pretty much had figured out most of it anyways, and I felt like because others clued him in it hurt their relationship a bit because she didn't make the decision herself. But despite that complaint, I still thought that this book was really good and I would highly recommend it. This story was one that I would gladly go back and read again, and I loved Ryker so much. He is worth the read alone! I look forward to reading more from Brianna Lee in the future and I am excited for the next installment in this series.

V den svých osmnáctých narozenin udělala chybu, jejíž následky si s sebou ponese do konce života.

Shodou náhod to byla Rush into You, kterou podle Goodreads nečetla ani stovka lidí.

I see something more in you. You deserve better.

Napsala „o osmnáct měsíců později“ a nazdar. Ze zajímavě vypadajícího kousku se najednou stala průměrná new adult kniha, o kterou bych nezavadila ani pohledem.

I'd alwayes dreamed of being loved.

Postavy mi nepřišly nějak zajímavé. Nemastné, neslané a okoukané.

Maybe one day I'd learn her story, but for now I didn't want her to regert me.

Máte-li volnou chvilku a nemáte co číst, Rush into you rozhodně doporučuji. Hledáte-li ale něco, co vám vezme dech, tady to pravděpodobně nenajdete.

I just started writing reviews for Red Cheek Reds, and had been a little disappointed by a few books I reviewed. I really get frustrated with grammatical and spelling errors, or anything regarding medicine that is incorrect (I’m a doctor). BUT then I read “Rush Into You” by Brianna Lee and I absolutely LOVED IT!!!

First and foremost, it totally passed my grammatical and spelling test, but then all the medical jargon and medication information was accurate and used in a great way. But most importantly, the relationship between Ryker and Gabby was just a great story!!

Gabby went through a traumatic incident that has left her the social piranha of her small town; she turns to drugs, alcohol, and prostitution.

“My addiction started when I got jumped by five girls and a guy—a baseball bat can do serious damage to the human body, especially when the person wielding it holds a serious grudge against you.”

Ryker is a bartender that befriends Gabby, the connection they develop is instant.

“Confused, I looked up and sucked in a sharp breath. The sexiest eyes I had ever seen were locked on mine. They were breathtaking sapphire color…”

Years pass, and they meet again at a party and the drama unfolds. Gabby becomes close with Ryker almost immediately. He races street-bikes and Gabby begins to fall in love with Ryker’s passion for motorcycles. Gabby’s past then puts Ryker in danger. The story unfolds in a unique manner that so different from other stories!

This book was an amazing story of triumph over demons, and finding love when you are at your lowest point. I will most definitely read anything this author publishes!

** DEBBIE'S 3 STAR REVIEW **

You meet Gabby who had it all until one mistake turns her life upside down. She finds herself dealing with her problems by using drugs. Heroin was her drug of choice.

“Even though I didn’t get addicted by choice, this drug had turned into my escape, and the idea of leaving it behind scared the h*** out of me. If I couldn’t numb myself, I knew my memories and nightmares would be even worse.”

One night she meets Ryker Rosse and her life starts to look up. He was different and did not know about the past. He saw the girl who wanted her life back. After he saves her from a drug overdose and she does a year of rehab things are starting to look up for her.

This is where the book started to lose me. After they are reunited I felt like the secrets Gabby could not share was dragged out and the book felt like it was just missing something. I did not feel the emotional connection between Gabby and Ryker and I felt myself starting to come out of the story.

I loved Ryker. He was a badass but was extremely sweet and caring. However, Gabby started to bug me with her insecurities, and her not willing to share her past. I just didn’t get that “I am your soul mate feeling.” The sex scenes were pretty hot but the rest of the story just fell a bit short. I wanted to love this story but I just couldn’t connect with it like I hoped I would have. It just wasn’t one for me but you might feel differently.

**published on Book Lit Love blog 12/5/15** http://booklitlove.com/release-launch...

From the very first words, to the very last ones Rush Into You had me reading like there was no tomorrow. It is not to often that a book captivates the negative side and the growth that can come from admitting you have a problem by Brianna did it. It was powerful in it’s relentless effort to show all the sides of such a strong issue like drug abuse.

Some don’t like reading books that deal with drugs and alcohol but from reading this book, it brings the party lifestyle in to perspective. The consequences of a mistake, is believable within the narrative. I loved the relationship that was founded between Ryker and Gabby. The founding development of the story was enjoyable and special to read. The issue of drug abuse and the notion of making mistakes is what resoundingly I found of heart within the book.

In reading, the heart of the characters and the lessons learned grasp so many important aspects of life and that was delightful in reading. The important issues, the heart of romance that blossoms between Ryker and Gabby is sweet and charming. I could really relate to Gabby, not in the sense of the drug issues but with making mistakes. It was an amazing read and I rated it a 4- Lit Love. Griping story, strong issues dealt with and the love of two people who despite all the pain of the past come together and flames ignite. xx

RUSH INTO YOU by Brianna Lee
*Was given a copy in return for an honest review

RUSH INTO YOU by Brianna Lee is a story of raw emotions and consequences for choices made. I just need to tell you that I enjoyed this story very much but the story deals with subject matter that some may find hard to read, even though it concerns a very real and prevalent problem of today.

From the very moment Gabby is introduced, I felt her agony and pain over one bad decision. This one decision destroys her life, completely and utterly. She feels unworthy, unloved and has no purpose in life, just utter despair. The high of drugs is her only escape from the pain until one night.

One night of bad decisions ruined her life and one night saves it.

Ryker sees through the outer surface of Gabby and sees the inner beauty. RUSH INTO YOU is a love story but it is more than a love story between a boy and a girl. RUSH INTO YOU takes the reader on a journey of self love and acceptance and sometimes seeing yourself through another’s eyes is the only way to heal.

I really liked this book. Gabby is someone dealing with real consequences and Ryker is just a good guy that falls in love with a girl trying to survive.

RUSH INTO YOU by Brianna Lee receives 4 out of 5 PLATYPIRES!!!

TEXAS HUGS and HAPPY READING!!!

Rush into You is a story of phases of self-forgiveness and moving on. At the start Gabby cannot bare to do either, using drugs as her escape of her guilt-ridden nightmares and judgmental people. Her life is haunted by an error she made six years earlier on her eighteenth birthday, an error that ripped her away from her two best friends, and her parents. One night, one bad decision that spirals her out of control until she meets Ryker, a tender and unassuming Harley riding bartender. He shows her a glimpse of what a normal life could be again, but she is still too wrapped up in her self-pity to see it clearly enough until she overdoses and is forced into rehab. She doesn't meet Ryker again until over a year later but the rehab has moved her finally to a place where she can start to enjoy life again even if she still cannot forgive herself for her past errors. Ryker is the magic key to that final phase but not before a few more complications are thrown into the path of both of them. Overall, I found Rush into You to be a believable journey of the character either sinking into the dark pit of a life of despair or fighting to get past their mistake. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Let me just say that a Rush into You starts off with a bang. What a prologue! The prologue is three quarters of a page long. That's it. And I've never read a more intriguing yet powerful prologue. It took hold of me and I just kept going. And the rest of the book didn't disappoint.

When I started Rush into You and the further I got into it, I never would have thought it was from a first time author. This book had so much involved in it. Gabby was such a sad but powerful character and had so much description. The character evolution was amazing. You got to know her and while I didn't agree with her choices that she had made, I understood her. Brianna Lee did such an amazing job with this character.

Ryker was the most perfect guy for Gabby. He was patient and understanding. He didn't push her or push her away when he easily could. I would have liked to hear from him more but his was Gabby's story. Her story of healing and growing with Ryker right along side of her. If it wasn't for Ryker, Gabby would have been dead. Not only did he save her, he helped to heal her.

I applaud Brianna Lee on her first book. It is an amazing story.

Brutally & highly emotional novel.

Rush Into You is the story of Gabby and Ryker. Gabby's world shattered in one night. It was a night that no one in her town allowed her to forget. To numb herself just to survive each day, she lost herself to drugs & sex.

Gabby's world changed the night she met Ryker. He is scorching hot, tattooed and drives a motorcycle, yet he's also the first person who doesn't know her history which allows him to truly see her beyond the pain and treats her as a person. It's a night that changes her life again.

This was a tough book to read but I was captivated within the first few pages & knew I couldn't let it go. I cried (boy did I cry), cheered & smiled as I read this book. Brianna Lee is a writer to follow. I can't wait to see where she'll take her readers next.

Can I just stay how happy I am I won this raffle?!? I usually do not read these kind of books I'm really into paranormal and fancy- I fg witchy books lol but I read the blurb and wanted to know more of Gabby's story so I entered and lucky me I won! This grabbed me and refused to let go almost like hunky Ryker. This is a great book and I don't want to spoil it for anyone out there but this is a must read. I laughed I cried and I cringed.

We all have those days where we feel down and out and like we aren't the best people so in this way I was able to relate to Gabby. I mentally cheered her on thru out the book and did a mental touch down dance or in honor of the World Cup did a Reynaldo at the end!

I was also touched by the little note that Brianna left for me on the front page! All in all I can not wait to read the next book!!!!

Full Review posted at Book Lovin' Mamas

I give this book 4 full moons and recommend it to new adult readers out there. I do warn you…certain scenes may be graphic and very emotional. You may feel angry at times and at other times happy. But…be prepared for a ride inside a young woman’s head who has been through hell and is trying to better her life and still deal with her demons. Her guardian angel/knight helps her though. ****Oh…before I forget another thing about Ryker…involving the bedroom…one word…HOT!!!**** (Brianna definitely put in some very steamy scenes with the characters. Gabby is definitely a lucky gal.)

Rush Into You is a story about a girl who had it all and then lost it all in a blink of an eye. Gabby is at the lowest point in her life. She has reined her life and now seems out to ruin her own. One night she overdoses and a practical stranger saves her.

After that night Gabby gets her life on the back on track with some help from rehab. When he life is going well she runs into her stranger that helped her, Ryker. He says he is not a man who has had real relationships, but he wants to give broken Gabby a try. He knows she has some ghost in her past. He is willing to work with them and her, if it means spending time together.

Ryker is the perfect book boyfriend. He stuck around longer than the average gut would have. Especially with all her past demons. Ryker made this book!!!
