Finished the last novel, Sea Leopard, about 4 days ago. Now that is what is called a page-turner to the last page. I was casually sitting and laying on my elbow on the last chapter, but as I saw how many pages were left and where the suspense was, it seemed like it was going to end in a cliffhanger! Boy was it heart-pounding to the last page! It's two stories simultaneously, one in the home-front (mainland England) and the other with the submarine (out on station). This is not to be missed!
I read Firefox about 10 years ago, and eventually Firebox down last year. Both were nail biters. Of course it's almost impossible for me to separate the Clint Eastwood movie, which was also great. However, the ole' cliché holds true here: the book is better (both firebox books-wish they would have made Firebox Down into a move-wow!)! Sea Leopard deserves a suspense movie, without a doubt. Good reading, please pick these up!
