My wife bought this book when it was first published, when the author was on a book tour. When it was written, Americans were just learning about how the food processor opened new doors in cooking, that we could now prepare things that were impossibly hard or time-consuming before we had a food processor.
One of my favorite quick recipes is her recipe for molded salmon mousse in this cookbook. It comes together literally in minutes, and gives you a gorgeous mousse in the shape of a fish--that's also delicious. I still have the fish-shaped mold we bought to make this recipe, and we still prepare it.
This is a good book, with recipes that were fully tested that are easy to prepare and delicious. I'm sad to report that the author died last year, so unfortunately we won't be seeing more books from her.
