Olivia Black fell in love with romance novels years ago and read everything from alternative to ménage, and everything in between. Thousands of books later, Olivia is still an avid reader on the lookout for a good book.
Olivia started writing ménage romance with Siren Publishing under the name Alicia White, then later decided to branch out and with the support of the publisher, started writing ManLove under Olivia Black. Silver Bullet was the first ManLove series and Olivia is looking forward to many others in the future.

I think my biggest problem here is that there are things that I will easily accept/ignore in a paranormal setting but put them in a regular old contemporary setting and I struggle with them. I don't know for sure that that is the problem but insta-love is a lot easier to swallow when you throw in soul/fated mates.
Of course, on the other hand, people often gripe about how quickly characters come to care for each other and I think that is sort of silly because I think it is rather common to come to care about people fairly quickly, if you are actually getting to know them - so it's not like it doesn't happen, though the whole "two days after we met we are deeply in love and married and having kids" is maybe pushing it a little, even for me, because obviously with only two days they haven't really gotten to know each other that well, unless it was a hell of a two days...the right author could carry it off I'm sure. I'll stop rambling now.
Pretty typical of what you expect from these kinds of series. An unrealistic premise that brings a bunch of men together who happen to be gay to a ranch where a bunch of cowboys live who happen to be gay. A convenient setup for sexy times, that were pretty sexy actually.
My main niggle was with the references to the two MC's. I didn't like them being constantly referred to as "the cowboy" and "the younger man". The references were used a lot and it was distracting.
If the MCs aren't shifter who are under the effects of mating insta-love, confessing love within a week of knowing each other is pretty unrealistic (if you aren't my in-laws who married after seven days but that's a whole other story). There was no 'getting to know you' or real connection shown here. Just lots of sexy times as they waited for all the illegitimate children to make their way to the farm. I may read the upcoming books, though, because I'm a sucker for punishment when it comes to a series (as proven by my love-hate relationship with Stephani Hecht's shifter books).
