Nathan Delacroix is a surprised when his favorite author comes to him for a BDSM perspective on her newest book. Not only is she a woman, but he finds himself growing more and more attracted to her and the unexplainable connection he feels. Toss in a serial killer, psychic abilities, a secret masochist, a twin brother, an FBI agent, a little foursome action between them all and a lot of hot hot kinky sex and you have Master Delacroix.
I know I’ve found a new author and a new series to get into when I’m not even finished the book, but have to put it down so I can go purchase more of what she’s written. This was the case with Ms. Michaels and Master Delacroix. As the second book in the series, I was reluctant to start reading this without having read the story that came before it (Topping the Domme). But this really was a stand alone book, and I had no trouble getting into the storyline or the characters. And I loved these characters!
As a Dom with the ability to sense other people’s emotions and thoughts, Nathan is literally the perfect Dom. Knowing what people are thinking even before they realize it themselves, he is able to give his sub exactly what she wants. He is dominant and self assured, and in Connely James, he finds a woman who is starting to explore her interest in BDSM and can’t hide her sarcastic and conflicted thoughts from him.
The two of them together are a likeable couple and the sex is sizzling and kinky and oh-so-yummy. The writing was so easy to get into and I found that I had trouble putting the book down. The underlying story wasn’t much of a nail-biter, but rather provided a background for the relationship between Nathan and Connely to develop, and (I hope!) set the stage for stories about Nathan’s brother Daniel and FBI agent Josh.
If you’re looking for a hot, kinky, crazy-sexy and can’t-put-it-down read, this is definitely it!

This story was very enjoyable. While Nathan did push all of Connelly's boundaries you could tell that she was into it. Some of the BDSM elememts were not my cup of tea but it did not detract from my enjoyment of the book. I did like this couple. The one thing I really appreciated is how there was sponatuity between the couple. So many times there is too much structure and too many rules in the BDSM books and all their life revolves about the lifestyle. This one had a plot and you really got to know the couple.

I very much enjoyed reading this story. Nathan Delacroix was introduced in the first book of the series and he did not disappoint as the hero in this book. I loved that the author chose to make the heroine in this story a mature woman. She's still under 40 but not by much. Connelly was a great match for the sadist.

Interesting story with super hot BDSM sex scenes. If you're not into reading about BDSM, then this book is not for you.
Nathan Delacroix is a former FBI agent, he's profiler and psychic. He can connect mentally to people, which was a huge asset as an agent. After a killer went after his fiancee to get to him, he retired. Now he owns and runs an upscale BDSM club outside of Atlanta.
When Nathan gets a phone call from a famous author popular for writing thrillers, James Connelly, asking for an interview for research on his latest book, he agrees to a meeting. When Nathan meets the author, who is actually a woman writing under a man's pen name the unthinkable happens: he connects to her mind immediately and quite vividly. He can read her thoughts clearly, he's never been able to do that before with anyone. He invites her to come to the club that night to check it out. He has a feeling from her thought patterns that she's a bit of a masochistic, he can't wait to bring it out of her.
Connelly James lost her husband two years ago when a serial killer almost beat her to death after he killed her husband. What she doesn't know is that Nathan's the agent who found the killer by mentally connecting with him.
Nathan finds out who she is in relation to the crime, but he's not sure that's why they have a strong connection. The more time they spend together, she keeps surprising him with her submission. He enjoys spending time with her, she's a breath of fresh air.
When the killer escapes prison, he goes after Connelly to get to Nathan. Now they are hiding in a safe house with the FBI until they find him. But Connelly can't see a future with him if old enemies keep trying to get their revenge.

Hot, Steamy, Thrilling
Wow! Just Wow! I thought "Topping the Dom" was good! I liked Nathan even in the it, but OMG! He's so, so, so.... (fanning my face).
Nathan is worried about Connely, an author who in researching the BDSM world! He takes her under his wing to show her the ropes, so to speak! He's been having visions and he's not sure who they are about. This is a MUST read even if you've never read the first book!

Nathan Delacroix is skilled BDSM Master who is also psychic that helps the FBI solve certain types of cases. He does not want anyone to know he is psychic that does not have to know. Nathan is likeable man and Dom. He is a kind and thoughtful man who will do what is necessary to protect and help those around him. He meets his favorite thriller author only to find out that she is not who he expected.
Connelly James is an author of thriller novels who writes under the name of James Connelly to be taken more serious. She schedules a visit with a BDSM Master to do research for her newest novel. At first neither knew of the deeper connection between the two. Connelly is attracted to Nathan right from the first meeting.
The chemistry between Connelly and Nathan is blistering. I loved how well they got along outside the bedroom, while Nathan’s abilities did help him. I think that even if he did not have them there would have been a great connection. The sex scenes were blistering. I loved how willing Nathan was to let Connelly experience what she wanted even if it was only once.
Master Delacroix is the second book in the Crime and Punishment series by Trista Ann Michaels. While this book is part of a series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone with ease. I found this book very well written. The main and secondary characters were both interesting and realistic. Ms. Michaels did a wonderful job of drawing the reader into the novel and keeping them entertained and on their toes all the way through. This book was fantastic! Wow, what a great find.
What a good book. I had a soft side for this Dom from the beginning, when we were introduced to him in book one of the Crime and Punishment Series. I was so glad to read he had his own book!
What to say about Master Nathan Delacroix. He's super sexy, handsome, can read minds, a Dom, and oh yeah he's a sadist. Do I need to say more. I mean the man makes being a sadist sexy.
Connelly is pretty and an author who has no idea she's a masochist. Her book brings her to Club Fetish for research but little does she know her research is more about her.
I loved how Nathan took care of her. I loved her transformation but most of all I loved how they complimented each other and took care of each other. I loved the crime plot and especially liked the interaction between Nathan and Daniel, his brother. I'm secretly pinning for Daniel to get his own book!
This book is definitely a standalone but for a better glimpse of Nathan before this book, it's best to read the first book in the series. Neither books will disappoint. Definitely a great find. I definitely like this author's writing style and her steamy sex scenes won't disappoint either!

MERCY!!!! What else could I possibly say. This book has you "feeling" so much. I could not get enough of Master Delacroix.
Story line was very strong and the characters grow as the story grows. Love these characters. Trista Ann has a definite winner on her hands. I think I might need several cold showers before the next in the series, Theirs to Share (Crime and Punishment Book 3). Or maybe my hubby will just be wanting me to read more.

I loved this book! Master Nathan and Connelly had such great chemistry and the building of their relationship was fantastic and super hot. This fabulous story had emotion, action,suspense and burning hot sex! If I could give this book more stars I so would!!

Very good follow-up to the first book, though it is about a different set of characters. Loved Nathan and Connelly's story. There is a bit of suspense in the story which I wish would have been explored a little more, but the story was still very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to Josh & Daniels stories.

Crime and Punishment
I am a huge fan of the Dom books, especially stories that have a sinister, suspenseful side. Michaels books include everything for the BDSM lovers, as well as the murder mystery lovers. She is a fantastic story teller, with a great eye for details pertaining to her characters, the plot and always leaving the reader with an HEA.

Absolutely fantastic book, love the characters, Connelly and Nathan have fantastic chemistry, I very much enjoyed their interaction, sex scenes are so HOT HOT HOT. There is a bit of drama and suspence too. I really didnt want this book to end.
