Johannes T. Evans is a gay trans man from the South of Wales, now living in Yorkshire, and predominantly crafts fantasy, romance, and erotic works featuring complex and layered characters, especially those who are queer and trans, and he has a particular affection for writing disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent characters like himself.

When not writing, he spends his time absorbing queer period works & history, petting cats, taking photographs of native insects, or lusting over fictional pirates and non-fictional bearish men.

He began the transition to publishing original work officially with the publication of his first novel, Heart of Stone in July of 2020.

As short as it is this tale will touch you heart. It's obvious Michael has some mental issues but he is also an absolutely incredible painter, his sister likened him and his lifestyle to that of Vincent Van Gogh. The only lights in his life is his painting and watching his neighbor Bertie who he adores. He couldn't find a better friend than Bertie, Michael in his past has been used and abused by even the ones that were supposed to help me, he is truly a heartbreaking, touching character in this exceptional story.

Gah. Can’t describe it without resorting to cliche. The man can write.

Oh my goodness. Loved this story. I know I will be rereading.

See my review of “Sweet On” if you’d like to read my longer rambling about this new-to-me author. For now, I need to go read another of his stories.

And yes, the above is identical to my review of More than Chocolate. It’s too hard to describe these stories. They’re too good. Just trust the blurbs.
