From Boston's favorite seafood restaurant, a generous haul of simple recipes that bring out the best in fresh fish, shellfish, and other ocean bounty, plus answers to myriad questions about seafood.
I have the original cookbook and this is a more updated and modern version. I just wish it were better. It remains a basic-how-to-cook-seafood cookbook and does include traditional and familiar recipes. The restaurant is SO good and so creative with their recipes and presentation I thought the "new" book would reflect current trends. Alas, no. Disappointing.
While the "recipes" are mostly so simple and standard as to hardly merit the name, this book provides very clear and detailed guidelines on how to cook many varieties of seafood and so would be useful to anyone unfamiliar with or nervous about cooking fish.
