Definitely not my genre of book but my girlfriend was on the front so had to give it a read!
It was sweet, a bit boring but light hearted.

Not sure what to say as I definitely wasn’t the target audience.

A Christmas Wish at Woolworths is the latest book in the Woolworths Girls series. Unfortunately the author, Elaine Everest, passed away before this book was released.

As with its predecessors, this book was an easy read. Many of our favourite characters from the earlier books are in this book too and it’s nice to see how their characters have grown.

As with the other books, the author manages to conjure up and capture the essence of the Woolworth stores and it beings back memories of visiting the store when I was younger.

Whilst I enjoyed this book, the storyline was a little bland and not much really happened.

This is the last book set in Edith, it was a lovely ending. I will read the next and last Woolworths book when it is released. Thank you to the late Elaine Everest for many hours of complete joy in her books x
