This is the 2nd book in the Obsessive Love trilogy and I love Conner and Aurora story so much. I 10/10 recommend this book.

A love story that's dark yet beautiful
I have to say that this book is one of my absolute favourites. The story is thrilling, compelling, and not at all predictable. Connor and Aurora are my idea of the perfect power couple. Their love burns deep beyond any fude. I can't wait for book three.

Another amazing book. So many of the other families make an appearance in this book. I wonder if they are hints towards future releases.
I don't think Kylie can go wrong with her books. The stories are always engaging and entertaining from beginning to end. Always leaving the reader wondering what's coming next.

This is the second installment to the Obsessive Love series. Connor and Aurora find themselves in some unfortunate circumstances which has them both making decisions to help each other. The aftermath of those decisions has them on the run. All Aurora wants to do is prove to Connor that they belong together. However, insecurities are catching up with her and she still thinks she’s not good enough for him. The first book was about Aurora‘s obsession with Connor. This book focuses on Connor. It shows us his ruthless side, but also the gentle side that only she sees because he’s only gentle when it comes to her.
It’s appropriately titled deadly devotion. Connor will do anything that he has to do in order to protect Aurora. He will always choose her. Even if it’s a choice between his family and her, she will always be his priority. He is committed to her and will do anything to prove it. When she is taken, there is nothing he won’t to get her back. It doesn’t matter who he has to fight or kill, he is getting her back. She is his person. They are the ultimate Romeo and Juliet but they will not have a tragic ending. Instead they will fight everyone to be together.
Kylie Kent showed us that there’s nothing these two won’t do for each other. Even when they are at each others throats, they cannot stay away. They are each other’s destiny and there’s no denying it. His Deadly Devotion is the second book in the Obsessive Love trilogy, which last ended on a cliffhanger so I was very relieved to find this one in my inbox. And boy, it didn’t disappoint. Connor and Aurora are back and left with picking up the pieces of the consequences of their actions, realizing that their unhinged love for each other has now put them in dangerous situations that will really test their loyalties. Of course, as with any Valentino book, the entire family does get involved one way or another and it’s a true reunion of our most beloved family.
“I can save myself.”
“I know, but I like saving you.”
The best way to describe Aurora and Connor is that they’re crazy. Crazy for each other, crazy in general so they fit together perfectly in their chaotic life. This is the book where their bond grew, where their limits and love for each other got tested. I really REALLY loved the way they stuck together, the expressions of love, it just gave me so many butterflies. They might be young but they know what they want, each other, and their determination made them so strong as a couple. Aurora really grew on me, I liked how strong she was, how she was tough around everyone else but melted in the arms of her Prince Charming. And Connor was a gentleman, his thoughts for Aurora were so pure, kind, real…how can we not fall for this man?

As with the ending? I am shook, I am sat, and I am SO ready for the final book. Aurora and Connor really killed it this time around, I adored every moment of this book and I really can’t wait till we get closure to their happily ever after.

For some reason, KU didn’t push me into the review area when I finished all 3 books, so I’m writing one and then copying to the others.
With the exception of the epilogues, this entire series takes place over maybe 6 months. When I started book 1, I swore it was said they were 17. No birthdays occurred, but one day they were 18. You know those books where you’re like “and what happened in between?” None of that here, because there is no moment in the probably less than 6 months that we’re left out of. So when did they have birthdays?!?!?
I was fine with book 1. Mostly liked it. Things just went down hill from there. 18 year old mob boss? Not hot or exciting. Had Connor been 26ish…. Perfect. But 18? 😬
Aurora and Conner had the same exact conversation soooooooo many times. Ok. She’s clingy and more insecure than anyone, but enough is enough.
Book 2 didn’t really do it for me. I liked book 1 much more. But book 3? That virus thing was the dumbest thing I may have ever read. Seriously? Lame!
Ending was boring too. We already knew those 2 situations were going happen, so tell us something juicy instead.
Best part of the series - Some real funny lines/banter.

Okay besties, Kylie Kent did it AGAIN— "His Deadly Devotion" (Book 2 in the Obsessive Love Trilogy) left me wrecked, obs€ss€d, and begging for more. Aurora and Connor? Pure chaos soulmates. They’re insane for each other, destructive in the most delicious way, and I couldn’t look away if I tried.
Aurora proves she’s that girl—tough, loyal, and strong even when the world tries to break her. And Connor? Whew. He’s ruthless, terrifyingly protective, and so devoted it’s both scary and swoon-worthy. The way he claims her? D€adly perfection.
The Valentino family drama just adds fuel to the fire, and that ending? Absolute cliffhanger carnage. Kylie, why do you hate my sanity? I’m OBS€SS€D and already counting the days until book three blows everything up.

Boring
The first book wasn't something I would normally seek out but it was way over the top and completely unhinged so it was pretty entertaining. This book is the opposite. It's so boring. Nothing happens the first 60% of this book. It's literally just them in different rooms of a house interacting with various random characters and someone threatening someone else. It was so hard to get through. Things do happen the last part of the book but the author creates zero tension in what should be some pretty tense scenes. Not that I'm looking to read about a woman getting tortured but it felt odd that the author chose not to really talk about what Aurora went through when she's had no problem describing ultra violent acts by either of the leads. Because she shies away from describing Aurora's imprisonment I never felt concerned for her. I'll read the last book but i don't have high hopes after this waste of time.

It’s book two and things kick into next gear for Aurora and Connor. Book one left us hanging wondering if they would find a way to get past everything that happened during Her Dark Obsession.
There has always been something special about the Valentino family, and I have loved it from T and Holly through their children and now the heirs. Aurora is the only heir to get a trilogy though and if you’ve read any of the heirs then you’ll understand why. Let’s say she’s complicated.
Connor is everything Aurora needs. He’s not only strong, fierce, and smart but he’s loyal, knows the kind of world she’s from and able to be her equal protecting her from others and herself. It wasn’t going to be easy for Connor to move forward after what Aurora did in book one, but when the threat was too close to her, he could only see that he needed her.
There is real danger hunting them and his family is the most dangerous of them all. Her family is mostly supportive because of how that family loves and that’s one of them most amazing things about them.
I liked how things moved forward in their relationship, and they got their act together in that respect. They made some big moves that had them erasing some of the danger chasing them, but they are far from out of trouble.
The story moves forward, the relationship moves forward, and the danger still lurks. Book three is going to one hell of a story and I can’t wait to read it.

There has always been something special about the Valentino family, and I have loved it from T and Holly through their children and now the heirs. Aurora is the only heir to get a trilogy though and if you’ve read any of the heirs then you’ll understand why. Let’s say she’s complicated.
Connor is everything Aurora needs. He’s not only strong, fierce, and smart but he’s loyal, knows the kind of world she’s from and able to be her equal protecting her from others and herself. It wasn’t going to be easy for Connor to move forward after what Aurora did in book one, but when the threat was too close to her, he could only see that he needed her.
There is real danger hunting them and his family is the most dangerous of them all. Her family is mostly supportive because of how that family loves and that’s one of them most amazing things about them.

This is book two of Aurora & Connors trilogy and while the stakes at an all time high one thing remains true and that is both of these characters love for one another.
Aurora Valentino is a fierce and strong character but we see her soft side when it comes to Connor. I found it beautiful that Aurora allowed herself to feel vulnerable with Connor and he also respected that because the only thing Connor wants is Aurora’s happiness.
With things becoming uncertain in New York the pair are sent to Sydney- well it was initially Aurora but you best believe Connor will follow her to the ends of the earth🥹
Things escalated quite quickly in the final few chapters and I am excited to see how Kylie will close out this duo’s trilogy.

When I say I love Connor and Aurora, I mean it wholeheartedly. They’re like the perfect modern-day Bonnie and Clyde—young, yes, but the devotion they share is so real, so intense, that it practically leaps off the page (or in my case, my Kindle screen). His Deadly Devotion continues on from that epic cliffhanger in ‘Her Dark Obsession’. Aurora and Connor have a bounty on their heads and are on the run. But can they out run their enemies for long?
So many heartfelt moments between the couple and also some brilliant humorous possessive moments. And the dark mafia aspects were thrilling, the stuff Connor gets up to, to protect his love ultimately starts a war and the cliffhanger was excellent!
Looking forward to book 3!

INTENSE. EVERYTHING. 😍 And listen, do not call her crazy in front of Connor unless you’ve got a death wish, because that man will END you. His love, his protectiveness, the way he claims her—it’s top tier, chef’s kiss perfection. At first Connor has a little trouble to forgive Aurora after what happened to Kenny, but it doesn't take long for them to be back together. In every hiding spot we see characters from Kylie's universe, which makes this book so fun! Aurora doesn't let anyone tell her what to do - which is really awesome to read! Connor just stands back and is proud of his girl, which is really swoony. ❤️
Super excited for book three and for them to have their happy ending, they truly deserve I! 🤍

I have grown even more in love with Aurora and Connor. As Aurora would say, finding and staying with her true love is really hard. Their story is like Romeo and Juliet but let's hope that they do not share the same fate as the two fated lovers with a tragic ending.
I was already obsessed with Connor but this time, it is more about woman power. Aurora has it and she is not afraid to get her hands dirty.

I had such a great time with this one. Aurora completely stole the show for me, she's honestly one of my favourite FMCs I’ve read in a while. She is a queen, and I will not hear otherwise. She's so badass, sharp, and strong that I wanted to fist pump every time she walked on the page. And then there’s Connor… this man is absolutely gone for her. The way he looks at her, the way he moves for her, he's completely gone and I am here for that kind of devotion. Together they're fire and I couldn’t stop reading. And then that ending… the audacity to leave me hanging on a cliff like that (haha). I'm already desperate for the next book because I need more Aurora and Connor in my veins ASAP.

Omg I have needed to know what happened with Connor and Aurora since that wild cliffhanger from the first book! This book allied some of my fears, but it also left me needing to know how things will play out in the end. The way Connor loves Aurora to the point of giving up any and everything for her was incredible. She is still her crazy unhinged self, but he is the perfect match for her. The way these two love and protect one another is truly remarkable. I could gush about them for hours and hours and still never say enough! The plot is filled with action, suspense, steam, family, devotion, and an ending that will have you screaming for more!

Part 2 in this trilogy was just as amazing as part one. This time it’s all about hiding. Can Connor and the Valentinos keep Aurora away from trouble long enough for them to fix the mess they are in? If we learned anything about this Amazing, takes no shit, no one tells me what to do women, we know trouble has a hard time staying away.

Aurora and Connor are just the perfect couple. They are both insanely unhinged but sweet to each other and overly possessive. Nothing could come between them. Connor tried so hard but couldn’t keep hating her. He even got jealous of her brothers and cousins touching her. I laughed every time that happened. He didn’t let anyone call her crazy or even her call herself stupid. He takes ott/possessive to another level and so does she. The plot was incredible. Although it wasn’t as spicy as the first book, it still had delicious spice. And the cliffhanger….. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!
