In my defense, I had no clue the gorgeous guy I had a wildly steamy night with was my brother's best friend. Or the single dad of the little girl I was about to nanny.

I hadn't seen Dr. Owen Fritz since I was twelve and he was twenty-four, but even back then, I didn't care much about him.

He was doing his billionaire, master-of-the-universe, medical school thing, and I was too into art and books to notice anyone.

Now he's cold and broody, but he doesn't scare me the way he does everyone else.

He's been scarred, but I've been scarred worse.

We both promise to leave that night in the past, vowing to keep this secret between us and stay professional from now on.

Especially since I'm living with him—sleeping down the hall from him—and his adorable little girl.

Until one night of hell changes everything and all those promises we've been struggling to keep don't just break, they shatter.

Now there's no holding him back.

And the more he watches me with those magnetic eyes or whisks me into dark corners and puts his heated hands on my body, the more I forget why what we're doing is so undeniably forbidden.

We're playing with an unstoppable fire.

And we're both about to get burned.

The story was very smooth sailing, and there's no real conflict, only the internal concerns of the MCs.

Owen (34) and Estlin (22) met at a bar when her brother (also his best friend), Jack, stood them up. Jake planned to introduce (or reintroduce) them to each other before they officially met as potential boss and employer. But, an emergency came up, and Jake had to cancel, but Owen and Estlin were already there. When they met, they didn't have any clue who the other was. She was around his family when she was younger, but it's been years since they last saw each other. Anyway, long story short, they met, sparks flew, and they spent that night together.

The next morning, they were both shocked to find out that Estlin is the one who's applying for the nanny position, and Owen is the friend her brother said needed help. He didn't want to hire her because of what happened to them the other night, and for some reason, he knew that it'd be a bad idea to do so because he's attracted to her. But Rory (6), his daughter, fell in love with Estlin right away, so Owen had no choice but to hire her. 🤭

Like I said, this was very chill; there's some push and pull in the beginning because they're trying to stick with the boss-employee setup. But the tension, chemistry, and attraction are making it difficult for both of them to stay professional. They just can't help but flirt most of the time, and they always find ways to stay close to each other when they're in the same space. There were subtle glances, hidden smiles, and secret touches that they're trying so hard to control and not display when there are other people around.

It took them two months before they finally gave in to what they wanted. But I think the car accident was the needed wake up call why Owen finally got his head out of his ass and finally threw the caution out the window.

Estlin proposed a temporary situationship, and Owen didn't outright agree to it. But he was able to make it look like he's okay with that, when in reality he has other plans to make this temporary setup a forever type. 😅

This was cute-ish, and I did enjoy seeing them try to fight their attraction. Owen's relationship with his kid was too adorable, and how Rory became so connected to Estlin was almost the same. I love that when they finally "f*cked it" with their concerns they were really all in with one another.

I do have a love-hate relationship with Owen's family members. I love that they're concerned and up-to-date with everyone's businesses, but at times this isn't good when the issue has to be solved privately.

Just like the scene where Jack found out about Owen and Estlin's relationship. This gave me freaking second-hand embarrassment, and I'm just a reader but I feel like I want the ground to open up and swallow me whole while I was reading that part. Did they really have to have that argument in a hospital where there are other people around (Owen's family and friends)? Jack blew a gasket, and while the reaction was somehow understandable, having that faceoff with an audience was still cringey. But this issue might be a me case only; the introvert in me can't handle the attention. 😅

Anyway, looking past my personal concern, I think this was okay. It was good enough to pass some time, and I still had fun with it.

Book info:
- Age gap (12)
- Boss x Employee
- Doctor x Painter
- Insta-lust
- Single dad
- No cheating, OPD, breakup
- No V (h - months, H - years, I think since his divorce, so 3 yrs???)
- HFN (in a relationship)
- Bonus epilogue (mos later, engaged)

Notes:
- Estlin's ex showed up twice; the first was to ask for forgiveness and to get back together, but she's not interested. The second was to say goodbye, and he kissed her on the lips. Estlin made the excuse that he's French, so that's their thing. Is that really true? Because that scene made me see red, that's why this is a 3.5 star instead of 4. I wish she didn't let him kiss her, even if it was to say goodbye. 😤
- The ex-wife was not in the picture; Owen and his family made her move to a different country after she dragged Owen and their daughter through the mud. They've been divorced for three years.
- This is definitely a me thing, but I really despise it when the MCs used to love other people. Owen loved his gold-digging ex-wife, and Estlin loved her manipulative and emotionally abusive ex-boyfriend. 😒

I am really enjoying this series! These men fall hard and they fall fast. The Boston's Irresistible Billionaires and really working for me.

This one starts with a One Night Stand between two people who are taking a break from life and they get stood up at a bar (not by dates). They have a crazy, hot night and then go back to their regular lives.

Only for Owen, this entails being a single dad and discovering that the woman he's about to hire as a nanny, who is also his best friend's little sister, is ALSO the woman he just stole the panties of and can't stop thinking about.

Estlin is looking for a fresh start and a chance to get out of her parents house, so when her brother encourages her to become a nanny for his Doctor best friend, she thinks it could be just what she needs. Only, when he opens the door and she sees who he is... she knows this will be a tough sell.

Fortunately for her, Owen's daughter is gaga for Estlin, so she's staying. He'll just have to get over it. But boy, will he grump along the way.

This was another lovely, warm, delicious story. I loved all the characters, the family, and the charm to this story. I am becoming hooked on this author. She has just the right amount of spice and heart balance. Making for a very enjoyable story.

I listened to the audio of this title and it was beautifully performed by Stephen Dexter and Desiree Ketchum. They always make for an enjoyable listening experience. I highly recommend listening if you like audio books.

I can't wait for book 3!

DNF around 35% so not rating

I'm not a fan of romances where both characters are aware the other wants them from the very beginning of the book. What's the fun in reading that? Where's the push and pull? Where's the will they or won't they?

The h was very inconsistent--she had body image issues due to her ex, but only time she ever thought or acted on those issues it was obvious plot points--didn't come to naturally at all. It was awkward. In every other instance she seemed to have very high self esteem (in a healthy way, not an unlikeable way) and no issues with her body. When her body image issues was brought up I legit stopped reading for a moment with a 'wtf'? expression on my face, and had to mentally rethink her character than I tried reading again, but the damage was done and I couldn't get back into it.

I'm also not sure how the H is a billionaire, he's a pediatric surgeon...yes, you can make great money with that...but billionaire rich? Maybe they brought it up and I forgot...maybe it comes up later.

This is the second book in the series and these books keep getting better and better. I adored Owen and Estlin so much. They meet one night at a bar and have a hot one night stand not realizing they actually already know each other. Turns out Estlin is the girl Owen plans to hire as a nanny. I loved this book so much the way they both fall for each other was just so beautiful. I also loved the relationship Estlin has with Owen’s daughter. J Saman once again didn’t disappoint and I can’t wait for the next book.

I was not prepared for how dirty this book is. Owen is absolutely filthy and it was so hot. We start off with a bang…hot billionaire doctor was going to go out and meet his best friend but ended up getting stood up by him. He meets sexy Estlin with a body like a pin up and ticks every single one of his boxes. While they knew each other through the years, Estlin didn’t always go by her middle name, and with the 12 age gap between them, Owen didn’t ever really pay attention to his best friends little sister/his little sisters best friend. So imagine the shock on both of their faces when she’s comes by his house the next day with her brother after their wild night out together to go over a potential job offer of being his little girls nanny. Now they’re officially forbidden to pursue anything together, even though the chemistry between them is so hot.

Stephen and Desiree were absolutely outstanding. I always forget how freaking good Desiree and it’s just such a pleasure every time I hear her. And Stephen just always delivers with his performances, and with as dirty and filthy as Owen was Stephen was a great casting choice.

I liked the characters a lot. Rory was such a sweet kid, Owen was a solid lead and Estlin was an angel. I always love a good nanny story but this one was so much more. They were so good for each other and as they fell in love the story flowed well.

I loved this book. A fun, sexy and beautifully emotional romance with fantastic characters and fabulous tropes that had me sucked in from start to finish.

✔️ Billionaire
✔️ Brother’s-best-friend
✔️ Age-gap
✔️ Single dad
✔️ Nanny

This is the second book in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series, but note that our hero, Owen Fritz is the second-generation of a huge family dynasty of doctors and rockstars from Saman’s earlier series. I haven’t quite wrapped my head around how it all fits together yet, but I’m desperate to dive in and discover. But you can read this one as a standalone.

Owen and Estlin meet in a bar and share a wildly steamy night together before going their separate ways. So, imagine the awkwardness when she rocks up at his house the next day as the new nanny to Owen’s six year old daughter.

I can’t have her be Rory’s nanny. I can’t have her live in my house. I can’t pretend like I didn’t spend all last night fucking her into multiple orgasms … I said things to her. Dirty things. And I did those dirty things too. I told her I’d make her sore today and fuck me for wondering if I succeeded.

It turns out that Estlin is the little sister of Owen’s best friend. She is an artist who has spent the last few years living in France and England. She’s still recovering from a brutal betrayal and a gutwrenching breakup which left her shattered, but she’s home now and determined to pick herself up and move on, starting with a new job. Owen is a paediatric surgeon and desperate for help coping with the many demands on his life, so when his best friend suggested his little sister as a nanny, he agreed. And for the sake of his little girl, who loves Estlin instantly, they agree to move on and be professional, and pretend they never even met.

He licks his lips, his gaze hot and locked on mine. “You really want this job?”
I stare straight back up at him. “I really want this job. You notwithstanding.”
“I don’t like this.”
“Get over it.”
His eyebrows hit his hairline, and an incredulous chuckle bursts from his chest. “Get over it?”
I shrug. “I mean, I realize I’m incredible in bed, but yeah. Get over it. You were just okay, by the way, in case you were curious.”
His lips twitch, and he shakes his head.

Even after their one night together, Owen knew that he wanted more with Estlin, and now she’s moving into his house, caring for his daughter, and it’s driving him crazy. The sexual tension is insane, with both of them trying to ignore the fact that they want a repeat, and even worse – they’re spending time together, getting to know each other, flirting, teasing, and starting to fall for each other, and though they know they can’t go there, they hide nothing from each other.

“My sweet thing, I need you. I crave you. I am consumed with you. You must already know that as I’ve done little to hide it.”

The build-up is fantastic, and I loved watching these two dance around each other in their attempts to ignore the inevitable. Not only because of the ‘forbidden’ nature of their relationship, but they’ve both been burned in previous relationships and they’re wary of getting hurt again. But, of course, the temptation becomes impossible to resist, they give in to it, and holy freaking hotness, they are on fire together! (This is a seriously steamy read). And more than that, there’s a strong emotional connection between them which brings the romance, and God, I love them together!

Estlin is a fabulous heroine – strong, confident, and bravely reclaiming her life while opening her heart to Owen and little Rory. And Owen completely stole my heart. He is sweet, caring and protective, and the way he is there for his girls is just gorgeous. I love how they love each other, and their beautifully heartfelt romance completely consumed me.

It’s not an even playing field between us. I can’t promise it’ll ever be. I can’t fathom a time will ever come when I won’t worship at your feet. When I won’t feel a million miles beneath you and nowhere ever deserving enough.

Little Rory is a delight, and her relationships and the moments between her and both Estlin and her Dad are just adorable. There’s a great bunch of side characters – some new, mostly from Saman’s other series and the first book in this series, and I enjoyed them and the fantastically entertaining dynamics.

This is a gorgeous read full of fun, drama and heat. There are ups and downs, and some pretty big challenges for them to face, and I loved watching it all unfold. There is angst and drama – mostly outside of the love story – and I loved watching these two navigate their way forward and get their HEA.

I loved this one – 4.5 stars!

“I loved every inch of your body last night and wouldn’t change a thing about it.”

This follows Owen Fritz, 34 who is a doctor in pediatrics. A single father who doesn’t have a lot of free time and needs help with his daughter Rory. Forced to interview his best friend’s sister, whom he has not seen in over a decade. A few drinks the night before couldn’t hurt. That's when a beautiful young woman changes everything with flirty banter and competitive darts. Which turns into a night spent together. But what happens when the next day that woman rocks up to be interviewed for the nanny position?

I loved this book. The audiobook narration was brilliant as well. Stephen and Desiree brought these characters to life. I enjoyed the tension between Owen and Estlin. They both tried to be professional as much as possible but gave in to temptation. Also, Owen being a panty thief was illegal. The way this man protected, took care of her and made her feel comfortable made me swoon. Estlin is beautiful with his daughter Rory, they just clicked together and Rory is a cute kid I loved to read about. Only a couple of things. The way her brother found out and how he reacted made me uncomfortable due to what just happened and who was around. It was a very selfish moment. Lastly, the surgery performed and how he swooped in to do it, I believe is unrealistic and I feel it’s a conflict of interest. Not a big deal but personal preferences or issues. Overall I loved this book.

Amazing! I loved the first book in this series too and this was equally good. The whole Fritz family and friends are a big bunch of lovely and funny people who stand up for each other. It can get chaotic with all these characters and names but the author describes everything well.
Estlin and Owen are hot and cute together. She is the nanny for Owen’s daughter Rory and there is a lot of tension between her and Owen. They try to keep their attraction a secret but can’t deny they fall fast and hard for each other. Both are intelligent and their banter is funny. I liked the way Rory was included in the story. She is such a lovely and well behaved little girl.
I had a lot of fun with this book. This is the typical silly RomCom with likeable characters, a little bit drama and good smut.

He’s a single dad, doctor, loves kids, and wears glasses…HELLO OWEN FRITZ!🔥

J. Saman just knows exactly how to write a Spicy Romance Book!! Started and finished this book in less this 24 hours…IT WAS THAT GOOD😍

I absolutely loved this FMC! I knew right away I was going to enjoy this book just from the first chapter. Estlin has such a strong personality with this bubbly attitude that I loved so much. Owen and her had the best banter with each other and I found myself smiling so much while reading each time they were together. I really enjoyed how we get to see two sides of Owen and how much he gives in to the love he has for Estlin, even when there’s so many things that get in the way.

I’m obsessed with the secret relationship trope and the amount of spice in this book with the forbidden feels just made it so FREAKING GOOD. The couch scene was WOW 🥵

If you love….

Another book by J. Saman that I could not put down. I seriously read it in one setting. I really love this series so much. I love how J. Saman tells a story, it pulls you in and has a way of just keeping you there until the very end. The chemistry was there from the beginning between Estlin and Owen. I really loved their dynamic, I loved Owen and his relationship with his daughter Rory ( she was so adorable) I just love this whole atmosphere, the family is great, the characters are great. I cannot wait for more in this series!! Book 3 sounds amazing already.

With each book I fall harder and harder for J’s writing because she creates such relatable characters and takes a known trope and turns it into something more!

Estlin has had a crush on Owen since she was younger and now she’s all grown up and who she is today is a women who turns Owen’s whole world upside down! There was so much heat between the two and I loved when they sparks finally flew because Owen was a goner! Did they have a lot to overcome, yes! But they had each others backs and had so much love they just needed to show everyone that this was more than attraction.

Owen losing control and showing feeling is something he isn’t used too but when it comes to Estlin I love the emotion that just poured out of him. I loved that Estlin brought out the best in Owen and how strong she is. When the world was against her she fought back and took back her art and her voice.

This is one of my fave in the series and seeing this second gen grown up and taking over the world just brings a smile to my face! If you’re a long time Saman fan you will fall even more in love and even if it’s your first book be ready to be blown away with the amazing characters and the love that fills the pages!

Estlin (Eddie) came home after several long years in Europe. When her older brother sets her up with a nanny job with one of his old friends, Estlin is happy to make the escape from her parent’s house. Only, the man that she once knew years ago, Owen, is the attractive, single dad that she is going to be nannying for. And he is the man from her one and only one night stand from the previous night. They decide to make Rory, Owen’s daughter, the main priority when they know it can’t ever work out between them. Only, their lines are starting to blur and cross even more as time goes on.

Owen Fritz was not expecting his one night stand to walk into his house the next afternoon. Especially not as his best friend’s little sister and his daughter’s new nanny. Trying to shut everything out from that night, Owen makes it clear nothing can ever come of their ONS. After a horrifying night leaves them shaken to their core, Owen and Estlin take their forbidden relationship further. Will their hearts make it out of this alive?

This is the second book of this series and I love it so much. I read the first one a few months ago and was so eager to read Owen’s story! Estlin was amazing and I really felt for her due to the horrible way her ex treated her. Owen had such a dirty mouth and I loved how he turned it off and on when taking care of his daughter. Some tropes are single dad x nanny, billionaire, big city, found family, one night stand, best friends sister, and a few more. Some TWs to consider are: emotionally and mentally abusive ex (to FMC), an accident, surgery and parent leaving their child. Just be aware and take care of yourself.

What to expect;
Single dad x Nanny
Brother best friend
Age gap
Forced Proximity

“ I should of known that night.
Know what?
That one night was never going to be enough with you”

This is my first book by this author, so I did read this book as a stand alone. I didn’t feel like this effected my reading experience at all! But I do want to go back because gosh I love all these characters!

This story starts off with a bang, quite literally when they both are taking a break from life and it ends in a one night stand. But it turns out they were much more connected than just that night.

I loved the single dad aspects of this and Owen being a pediatric Surgeon? Could he have a better occupation.

Both Owen and Estlin have things to work though and I loved watching them come together. There is so many swoon worth moments in this book between father and daughter, to friendships and family I loved it all.

I’ll be looking forward to reading more by this author and more if these characters.

Thanks Valentine PR & J.Saman for this title in advance in exchange for an honest review!

This was my first J Saman book and it was amazing!! I loveeee me a good single dad/nanny trope and this one was great.

Owen is a pediatric surgeon, billionaire, divorced single dad. And the man was everything 😍 His personality really showed up when he didn’t realize who Estlin was. Then he turned all broody and grumpy which I loved hahah. He first meets Estlin at a bar not realizing she’s his best friends much younger little sister that he hasn’t seen in years since she was a kid. A one night stand between them goes off so well, but then she shows up the next morning to be interviewed as his new nanny. Talk about shock 🤣

I really loved Estlin too. She was funny and never backed down from what she wanted. She is an artist that spent years abroad in Paris and left a toxic relationship behind. Now she’s back in town looking to focus on her art some more and nanny as her main job.

The chemistry between these two was off the charts. She also was wonderful with Rory, Owen’s daughter. The forced proximity between them since she is a live-in nanny… yall 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Owen Fritz has a dirty ass mouth and the spice in this book was chefs 💋

Thank you so much J. Saman for this ARC. I loved it and now I can’t wait to read all of your others books.

📚Story overview & Review📚
Julie has truly mastered the art of crafting a smart, hunky billionaire "Mr. Darcy" while delivering smokin' hot, sexy scenes! The pottery wheel scene!? Dead. I died! So smokin’ hot!!

I was captivated by Owen; the broody, hot-and-cold, guarded billionaire surgeon. Estlin, with her sweet and artistic nature, is on a journey to find herself and blaze her own trail after some dark times, making her relatable and endearing. Their chemistry is palpable, with an undeniably forbidden pull that hooks you right from the start. The dynamic of the nanny, billionaire, and brother's best friend trope combo was killer, complete with a sweet little girl that falls head over heels for Estlin. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book and can’t wait to see what happens next with the Fritz’s.

I cannot believe I binged this book in 1 day. I am loving this series so much and when I tell you I devoured it, I mean it. I love when a book starts off with a one night stand. And this was no different. The chemistry between Owen and Estlin were like fireworks. You could not convince me that they were not meant to be together. I loved their story from start to finish. you could tell feel the longer for each other from the very beginning. and not matter how much they tried to fight it, once they gave in, it was all or nothing. I love how protective Owen was of Estlin. She deserved someone to put her first and care for her that deeply. She had been through so much and Owen did such a good job of putting her first, while also putting his daughter first. I loved Estlin relationship with Rory. She was the cutest kid and she has been through so much at such a young age. I love how protective Estlin was of her, and how aware she was of Rory’s feelings. It was so refreshing to hear the conversations about “it’s okay to not be okay.”. I loved how easy Estlin fell for Rory and vise versa. this story was beautifully written and I can’t wait for Stone’s story next!

The narration was fantastic. What a pairing Stephen and Desireé are. They were cast so perfectly for Owen and Estlin. They both bring such joy, tension, and love to these characters. They are both two people I can always count on that no matter the speed I am listening to, I can always understand every word clearly. I also love love love both of their kid voices in this one.

4.5 stars

tropes:
- single dad x nanny
- billionaire surgeon
- brothers best friend
- forced proximity
- age gap
- he falls first

Thank you Julie and Must Love Audio for the ALC🫶🏽

An artist who's lost her muse takes a job as a nanny for the surly single father of an adorable six-year-old girl. Aside from the fact that their families know each other, the woman who shows up for the nanny interview is the same woman Owen Fritz shared a very recent explosive night with. And his best friend's little sister. Oops.

They hadn’t seen each other for a decade – she was barely a teen and Owen was in college – and they both realize their hot night together should stay in the past. So of course, it has to be strictly business and nothing but professional between them. Until it isn’t. And Owen, bless his heart, he really does try to resist. He's been burned badly before, and his priorities are his daughter and his job as a pediatric surgeon. At least until Estlin entered the picture.

Estlin Kincaid has also been burned badly and is focused on rediscovering herself and getting back to her art. While little Rory is in school Estlin has time to spend in the studio, if she can just get back her mojo. The longer she's with Owen and Rory, the more her inspiration grows, as do her feelings for a sweet little girl and her father.

Owen and Estlin’s story has all the elements we love in a great romance read. I adore Owen's irascible grumpiness and his marshmallow heart for his daughter, Rory. But his surliness doesn’t faze Estlin, and her sunny, colorful outlook chases his clouds away. And don’t get me started on Estlin and Rory together, because those are some of the sweetest, most touching scenes.

This series brings together three different fictional worlds as we get new romance stories for the next generation. While this can be read as a standalone we see many familiar faces we've come to know and love. There's nothing better than reacquainting with old friends while watching new ones fall in love. Filled with humor, brimming with heart, and third-degree Hades hot, you won’t want to miss this captivating, phenomenal read!

The Nanny trope isn't my favorite and this book handled it in a way that makes it a trope I don't love. They've known each other for years, hadn't seen each other in many, and met again and fell into bed without recognizing one another. I don't have a problem with that. However, when Owen reluctantly hires her, his best friend's sister, as a nanny, they both agree to be professional. Almost immediately, though, they're flirting and crossing some lines. I can't help but put myself in the nanny's shoes and think of how confused I would be and the mixed signals would not be good for me.
I know it's supposed to be hot, they can't stay away from one another, they can't fight their feelings. I'm just asking for some time when they do remain professional without inappropriate discussions and flirting. I want it to build to that. I want some angst before they simply can't ignore their feelings for one another.
Also, this is gonna sound awful, but Rory, Owen's daughter, kind of bugged me. In a nanny trope, I often enjoy the bond between the nanny and the child, and it was a sweet bond, but Rory was spoiled, as a daughter of a billionaire single parent probably would be and I just didn't love her character.
Not only was this a nanny trope, it was also best friend's sister and the two MCs' relationship was revealed in an annoying way and was dealt with horribly, causing a huge scene with awful timing. This irritated me.
The ending was rushed and lacked quite a bit of detail and substance.
Therefore, I found this book to be lacking and for me personally, the tropes were not handled well.

While I love Julie and her world of billionaires, I'm finding that everything is starting to feel overused and repetitive. The storyline just feels so similar to other books the author has written. I don't mind the 2nd generation of characters, but for the storylines to have so many similarities to the previous series, it feels like a letdown.

I'm also kind of ready for doctor storyline to move on. We've already gotten a whole slew of doctors from our beloved Fritz family and surrounding family and friends. Watching most of the 2nd gen become doctors is not my cup of tea. If you think about it, by this point, the Fritz characters that are in this series are 3rd gen doctors. It feels stale.

I'd love to see Julie move on from the Boston/NYC area and move to another region with different genres. I love the interconnected books, but it would be fun to read hockey, cowboys, firefighters, etc. from the author. Her books always stand out to me, and I was super upset that this one didn't.

Thank you to the author and VPR for an ARC.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Undeniably Forbidden, the second book in the Boston's Irresistible Billionaire series, showcases a brooding billionaire doctor and single dad who finds love with his daughter's nanny. For those seeking a steamy, emotional, and entertaining tale, look no further than Undeniably Forbidden.

Dr. Owen Fritz isn't in the market for a long-term relationship; his daughter's welfare is his paramount concern, and introducing a woman into their lives would be disruptive. Thus, when he encountered the vibrant and attractive Estlin, a meeting that occurred only because his best friend had to cancel their plans, he intended it to be a single night's affair. Yet, destiny had a different plan for them.  Imagine his surprise the following day, when he discovers the true identity of his one-night stand. His best friend's sister and his daughter's prospective Nanny.  Indeed, what a predicament!

Owen knew that having Estlin in his home would be a significant challenge. Owen made up his mind to resist the attraction between them, prioritizing his daughter's well-being and his friendship with her brother. However, as the saying goes, the road to hell is often paved with good intentions.

It puzzled me why they believed maintaining a professional relationship would come easy. It's common knowledge that a single taste of the forbidden fruit often leads to an insatiable desire for more, especially when it's constantly within reach. Estlin and Owen were bound to discover this the hard way—pun intended. The intrigue heightened as they attempted to conceal their relationship from family and friends. One could only speculate how long they could keep their secret before it eventually blew up in their faces. Fortunately, when the truth came to light, the fallout was not excessively dramatic, and ultimately, everything resolved positively.

Owen captivated me when I met him in "Undeniably Convenient," so delving into his story in "Undeniably Forbidden" was delightful. His lack of arrogance, entitlement, and self-absorption was refreshing. His love for his daughter drove him, and he would do everything to protect her, even at the expense of his own desires. Estlin, an up cand coming artist, is striving to leave her mark on the world. After a hit to her confidence, she's piecing it back together, one painting at a time. Despite their differences, they found common ground in the unexpected betrayals by their ex-partners. As a couple, they complemented each other perfectly, providing exactly what the other needed.

If you're not a fan of particularly steamy romances, then this book might not be to your taste. However, for those who enjoy a more intense level of passion, 'Undeniably Forbidden' would be a perfect choice.

Calling all single dad- nanny romance lovers! J Saman has put all the emotional conflict and soul deep ache of forbidden romance in Undeniably Forbidden. No one writes medical romance like J Saman and I always get an extra thrill for it. Owen Fritz is so swoony and brooding and dangerously sexy..my heart ( and panties) cannot handle it. Estlin has stormed into his life with her sass and sweetness and fire. None of them were ready for the all consuming passion and heartache and finally, the hard earned happily ever after.

Boston's leading pediatric surgeon and part of the rich and famous Fritz family..Owen Fritz has finally accepted that he need to hire a live in nanny for his sweet daughter Rory. Her mother was a piece of work and dragged them through hell for money and fame. He doesn't trust anyone easily. But his best friend Jack has a solution. Her sister Estlin was living in Paris for arts and had to leave after a tragedy. She was nannying for a rich couple in London and she is perfect for Rory. Only one problem occurs when she appears at his home...she is the woman Owen had a one night stand, last night. Their attraction is alive and blazing but she needs the job and Rory loves her. Can they really control their feelings?

Owen Fritz has many sides. His past relationship has left a bitter taste in his life. He doesn't want another woman to destroy his heart and more importantly, Rory's heart. That little girl is just so adorable and cute. I love how she bounced back from the hate and hurt with help of a big loving pampering extended family. She is Owen's priority but Estlin became an essential part of his life. She has suffered through a lot of heartbreak. Her past has shattered her confidence. Her family is rich and famous too and they still think she is the family's baby. But Owen believed in her potential. In her talent. In her passion. She was so different and she got under his skin. They knew they are forbidden. But their chemistry and feelings are too intense to resist or ignore. They basically healed each other. They both have been betrayed and manipulated and hurt in their last relationship. It wasn't easy for them to open up to each other. The author portrayed the angst and the tension perfectly. Rory acted as a buffer and as a glue and that was so sweet. It was spicy but the emotions reign supreme. I gave it 4 stars only because I felt the last few chapters were a bit rushed. Everything got dissolved in hurry.

E-ARC Review:

SWOON!!! When I say i devoured this book, I’m not saying that lightly, I literally dropped everything and read it all in one day and was HOOKED! This was a perfect one night stand, age gap, single daddy romance and i ate it up.
After living abroad and a relationship ending volatile Estlin (or Eddie, as her brother calls her) is living back in Boston and looking for a job as a nanny, but when her hot as hell one night stand ends up being her potential new boss, things start to get complicated.
Owen, a stellar pediatric doctor and a dad to an adorable little girl, Rory, has been closed off to any help with his daughter. Thankfully Owen has amazing family & friends to step in and help out but as Rory gets older he needs more of a stable routine and a live in nanny. Owen’s best friend, Jack has recommended his sister be the one to help him with Rory, but now he’s second guessing if that’s the right decision. Estlin was so perfect for Rory and coming into Rory’s life when she needed her the most. Estlin also brought out the best In Owen, he fell fast and hard and even when he was trying his hardest to fight his feelings he was able to slowly break down his stubborn walls and enjoy life again, laughing, and taking time with his daughter, not always being the grump everyone thinks he is, and when his protective sexy and caring side comes out, I was all over that. This book had a bit of suspense and mystery to it too, leaving you inthralled and so invested. I am also happy I listened to book one , Undeniably Convenient, not becuase you have to in order to read this book but because you get moments of your past favorites and fall in love with them all over again.
