She fell into my arms as her entire world fell apart. And I was never letting her go.
Reed I've been alone for over three hundred years. The darkness is around every corner, trying to swallow me whole as I watch my packmates one by one find their true loves, while I stand permanently on the sidelines. But when she collapses in my arms, everything comes into crystal clear focus. I don't even know her name, only that it's her. My mate. The one I've been waiting centuries for.
But she can't be my mate; she's human. My nose can't detect a single hint of wolf on her. So how can we be fated? It makes no sense. But when I see the omega seal shining on her palm, I know larger forces are at play.
But it's not until after I fight my way out of the bar, past her attackers, and back to the Enclave that all hell breaks loose. I've broken a cardinal rule, and now I must face the High Alpha—and one of my best friends—for punishment. I won't bend the knee, not with her life on the line. No matter the cost.

The story arc spans multiple books, but each one contains a new couple and a new romance, while still bringing in familiar faces until our world's problems are solved.
So much going on for nothing to happen. I really enjoyed the first couple books in this series, but at this point, this series is just being dragged out. I was really excited for Reed’s (MMC) book. Fiona was a good FMC. But both she and Reed threaten to leave far too often for me to buy that they’re really, really good together. Fiona spends the whole book trying to figure out what her magical heritage is. I enjoyed following along on that journey with her. Her romance with Reed has very little build up and with each of them threatening to leave the other or thinking they shouldn’t be together because they’re not good enough for each other, their love story is just ok. Major let down considering how much I was looking forward to Reed’s story.
Major spoilers ahead so I can get my rant out. ****Don’t read any further if you don’t want to see the spoilers****
The whole reason for anything to happen in this book was to get a hold of the omega stone to unite all the packs so that the wolves would rally behind changing the law about hunting omegas. But at the end the stone they recovered from the dwarves ended up being one piece of the whole omega stone and the other FOUR pieces are spread out over other magical species. If there has to be 4 more books before we can even get to the Great War that Fiona had a premonition about, I’m done with this series. I really liked this whole omega law subplot when the love stories were good. But between the last book and this one, it feels like the author should’ve made this into a trilogy and ended it. The romances in this book and the last are what the kids would call very “mid”. They complete their bond after Fiona is almost r*ped in Vegas, which for me, really goes against everything this author has done to make it seem like the fated mate bond is sacred. It seemed like a decision made hastily when emotions were heightened and Fiona was just trying to get Reed to stop feeling like he’s not good enough for her. I almost DNF’d at 60%, then at 80%. I’ll read the next to see if the rest of the series is going to be dragged out. But if it’s like this one, I’ll probably give up on it.

If you want a good shifter romance, start with this series. It is plot forward, the AO dynamics are slightly different than standard, and other shifters and species make heavy appearances. The characters aren't teeth-achingly sweet or overly cringy. Every time I pick up one of these, I binge it in 24 hours. I will be picking up anything April L Moon writes, no question.
I LOVED this book. Just like the rest of this series, this book was pure dopamine.. and might I say a new favorite?
It was fast paced, addictive, and full of love that made my heart explode. I couldn’t put it down.
The characters completely stole my heart, and their story had me grinning, gasping, and maybe even tearing up because it was so perfect.
The love between them felt so real, even if some parts were reappeared in the beginning. Still you could feel the warmth and loyalty in every scene, especially from the other characters. How easily they accepted Fiona made my heart just swell.
April L. Moon, you’ve ruined me in the best way. This entire series has made me want to crawl into the books and never leave.
I was delighted to get an ARC because I was eager for the next installment of the series—and I am glad I didn’t have to wait longer for this excellent continuation of the story. The romance is powerful, the tensions run high, and multiple mysteries to solve also expand the world-building.
What I particularly appreciate is the deft normalization of Fiona’s epilepsy. As someone in remission from a seizure disorder, it was particularly meaningful for me to have it discussed openly. It was a bonus that it was a regular part of life for a woman who was so powerful and strong.
Genre: Paranormal Romance ⭐️ 4/5 🌶 2/5 🧠 3/10 Noteworthy: Book 4 of an incomplete series of interconnected standalones with a heavy overarching plot. These must be read in order and have a different couple's pov in each book. Where we are from book 1 to book 4 is on the other side of the universe with how much has happened. 😂
I just flew through nearly 1500 pages of this series in 4 days and could probably read 1500 more right now! I very rarely read more than 2 books in a series back to back, but you could not pry this series out of my hands! The way the overarching plot is thick gets you invested is masterful. Brava April! Give me Olivia and Lucian's part of the story now, please!
I feel like if you've made it to book 4 in this series, you're up for whatever is in store. And the ride just keeps getting more unexpected. Is this ever in a plausible or sensible fashion? Oh no, far from it! However, the shame resides with you for ever expecting it to be so. I've come to think of these books as fun palate cleansers. I'm never bored and I like all the main pack members. Thanks to April L. Moon for the ARC edition in exchange for an honest review.
4th book in The Hunted Omegas series! More species introduced into this magical system! Conflicting kingdoms, a coming war & more plot twists! Slow burn! Fated mates. This one was so tender & sweet! Just a bit of spice. Love the found family. This whole series deserves so much more hype!
Realizing this series is gonna be loooooong. This one in particular felt really long to get through. Granted I was in the process of moving, packing & unpacking, and working. But still this one felt slower. But as long as I go into the rest of the series knowing it’s not a quick read, I still will enjoy the plot for sure! I like this little paranormal world and the characters & that they each have their own stories & complications, histories and personalities, even between couples, I like that.
Fated to the Wolf Billionaire is my favorite in the series so far.
There’s just something about human/werewolf mates that makes the dynamic way more entertaining. Reed is an absolute walking green flag, and Fionna is such a fun FMC. I loved how she didn’t take any of his shit, how she coped with being thrown into the deep end, and how much she grew throughout her book.
Their relationship was really good, and I was genuinely excited every time I picked this one up. I’m also glad the author switched things up a bit so the books didn’t start feeling repetitive. And the plot? So good. I’m fully invested in how everything is going to play out.
So yeah, my favorite couple so far. Very curious about Lucien and Olivia next. I like her, but I’m still undecided about him. We will seeee. Rating: ★★★★
The fourth book in the Hunted Omegas series is another hit! I only received the ARC earlier today, but here I am already, having inhaled it in one session!
Fated To The Wolf Billionaire really moves the continuing story along and opens the world up too. The romance between Reed and his mate Fiona was really strong! Fiona isn't a wolf shifter like the previous 3 FMCs are, so it added some nice variation to the series and I like that there's obviously more to come for Reed and Fiona in the next few books. Speaking of what's next, the epilogue at the end is (as always) amazing at pulling me into the next book and into the next couple's story. And as usual, I can't wait to continue the series!
Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy from the author, but this is my voluntary and honest review.
Fated To The Wolf Billionaire is book 4 in the Hunted Omegas series, it can be read as a standalone but for full enjoyment I highly recommend reading them in order. I absolutely loved and devoured this one. The vibe and tone of this one just felt really different. I loved how the tension was so high in this one, multiple things to uncover and the world building was on point. The way the author crafted Fiona was amazing, I thought it was so cool how different she was from everyone, it was really original, well to me anyways ! Just added something different from all the previous books.
Fiona & Reed together were just perfect. I loved their story and their romance. As always I love that we get to see the previous characters a lot in the books, so we see what's happening with them. Something I also really appreciated in this one was the representation for people living daily with epilepsy. I loved how the author approached it, normalized it and everyone around Fiona was so supportive. There are still many things to uncover and I am excited to see where the author takes the series next!
Overall, this was a fantastic addition to the series. I really enjoyed it and devoured it within hours. It was fast paced and action packed which kept me hooked. The epilogue also made me crave book 5 ASAP!
Reed is a 300-year-old lonely wolf shifter billionaire, and the fated mates setup had potential—especially with the twist of a human FMC marked with something bigger going on. I did like the continuation of the larger conflict around the ODL and the world-building threads carrying through the series. That part kept me invested enough to keep reading.
But the execution? That’s where it fell flat.
The story felt like it stalled out. Instead of leaning into the bigger, more interesting conflict, it shifted focus into the “what is she?” mystery and then into an artifact-hunting quest that just didn’t hit the same. It dragged the pacing down and made the story feel… kind of boring.
And I’m going to say it—this was absolutely insta-love, even if it tries to pretend it’s not. Reed is immediately all-in (which, fine, fated mates), but the emotional depth just didn’t feel earned.
The FMC was also a struggle for me. Her constant insecurities got repetitive, and it felt like Reed spent half the book reassuring her instead of the relationship actually growing in a meaningful way. It made the dynamic feel one-note instead of swoony.
Overall, it was a fine read—easy, entertaining enough in moments—but it didn’t have the emotional punch or plot momentum I wanted. Good concept, but it just never quite came together.
This series has such a hold on me! I literally devour every book! This book was just as good as the rest in the series! I mean the dedication alone was screaming "you have to read this book!" Also, the summary of past books in the series at the beginning of the book! That is my absolute FAVORITE thing and more authors need to start doing this!!!!
I love Reed's character and it was so great to meet his mate. I loved that the FMC was different and had a medical condition unlike other FMC who are usually healthy. This representation for people with medical conditions was so refreshing to see.
There was a lot more going on in this book with traveling to different places and the mystery of what Fiona is. I also love getting to see characters from other books as well. This book is one of my favorites of the series.
Honestly, it’s the same reason for all the other DNF and low reviews. Reed was a character I liked in the other book, and suddenly any personality he had went out the window. He was a stale saltine cracker.
Fiona wasn’t really hooking me.
When I found out they were going on yet another adventure to search for something aka drag the whole Omega plot on more…I just stopped. I came here, read some spoilers, and it’s not worth reading any more. I might read the next one, but idk. I don’t see resolution for the main sub plot any time soon, and now the plots with each couple is getting watered down, too.
Okay first, the plot is thickeningggg i need olivias book like yesterday to be able to know where we are going with this because i am on the absolute edgee. I loved this book and i lovedddd fionaaa she was a badass alright and she knewww what she wanted and went for it and i loved her for that. Reed reed reed oy this maan is full of surprises and he was trying his absolute best to be the man that deserves her and it was the sweetest thing ever.
For me their relationship felt like a second priority of the book for the plot so we didnt get to see their relationship evolvee (and i needed more of that) for example she mentioned more than once that she wanted to get to know him more the personality likes and dislikes and i didnt feel they had any convo of that sort, also there was couple of plot holes that made noo sense, she had a job back in the states that somehow disappeared when they got together same with her hobbie of watching animals and creating the book (her big goal hopes and dreams) which kind of pissed me off because it was as if all her life outside her new discovery is null. And for me it was hilarious (and not sure why) but everythingggg in this book was hornyyyy on any journey they went or an adventure or if they are facing something its most likely as one of them is horny🤦🏻♀️. And i truly and utterly feel like i didnt understand what she is??? Like they mentioned a name and that she read about it and somehow over night she was a master at controlling her powers like what??????
All in all not the best plotted book but the couple sort of saved it and the major plot is evolving.
2.75⭐️ I think this one was my least favorite from the books It was not okay to reveal what she was at around 80% of the book and then just brush it off like we will figure it out as we go 😅 like it was nothing I swear I am more interested in the underlying story more than these couples I keep stating it but here I am on to the next 😕😕 this story needs to get a move on and I wish these couples had a more decent epilogue but I guess since this is still ongoing hoping i get a fullll epilogue on every couple in the last book
Another fated mate pair, more drama, more politics, and more mysteries that need to be unraveled. I enjoyed learning more about some of the other magical species, and it seems like more information is coming.
This book gave everything it needed to give (except a few unwanted typos). I got fantasy, smut, and I like this world although dwarf world confused me, need the next one asap please and thank you xoxo
The story continues from the previous book where Fiona and Reed meet, along with the back story, so be sure to read the books before this one. I enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters. I liked how more supernatural species are introduced and interacted with. I would have liked to have read and learned more about Fiona’s gifts and her species. Although we get a little more information on how to solve the omega issue, I feel there is too much to cover making it hard to see the end and where or when the series ends. I was given an ARC to read, thank you to the author.
I didn’t think I would enjoy this book because I didn’t care much for Reed and I really wanted to get to Olivia’s book, but I’m so happy I read it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. So much so, I just didn’t want to stop reading. The performance through the audiobook was also amazing.
Loved the story line. After Leigh/Gael (enemies to lovers trope), this couple (Reed/Fiona) was a welcome reprieve. It was nice to see them fall in love and no 3rd act breakup scene. I enjoyed the addition of another species although I wish we got a bit more regarding Fiona’s species. I wanted to see her use her powers more especially after she began to accept that her powers weren’t evil. But hopefully we might get a little more in the next book. I have enjoyed this entire series and I’m excited for the next one.
Thank you April L. Moon for giving me the opportunity to read this book prior to release.
I received this as an ARC for a review! I have loved this series and was looking forward to this book. Reed and Fiona are the pure embodiment of loving each other for who a person is as a whole. Between her chronic illness and his need to protect everyone he cares about especially her, they make a perfect team. While they are trying to figure everything with the Omegas and the secrets about Fiona everyone comes together as a packa.nd chosen family to find answers together. This was such a great book I highly recommend it! I can't wait for Fated to the Scarred Wolf!
