Arcane Acres is flourishing faster than Ethan ever imagined.
With a bustling marketplace filled with glowing chicken eggs, flying pigs, and cows that produce rich chocolate milk, newcomers are arriving daily, drawn by the promise of the town’s magical wares and the portal to the dragon sanctuary. But as the town thrives, shadows gather on the horizon.
Among the fresh faces are those with darker intentions, eager to exploit the town's enchanted charm. Tensions simmer between the townsfolk and traveling gypsies, threatening the delicate peace Ethan has worked to build. But even this unrest is nothing compared to the true danger creeping into Arcane Acres.
A series of mysterious animal attacks puts Ethan and his friends on edge, leading to a chilling discovery—a werewolf is on the prowl. And worse, it seems to be working alongside a powerful witch, one who’s been secretly feeding off the essence of Arcane Acres’ magical creatures, growing stronger with every stolen breath.
When one of Ethan’s friends falls victim to a werewolf bite, the stakes grow higher. With the next full moon looming, Ethan must race against time to find a cure before his friend is cursed forever. But the clock is ticking, and the shadows in Arcane Acres are growing longer...
Book 3 of Arcane Veterinarian offers a unique blend of cozy, quirky charm, slice-of-life, and immersive LitRPG elements, where readers continue Ethan’s progression from a novice level arcane veterinarian on his way to grandmaster status.

I spent my youth in the land of make believe. School was a bore, and growing up in the "Boonies" without cable television forced me to use my imagination. If I wasn't holed up in my bedroom playing with my vast collection of action figures, I could be found in the forest with a wooden sword or staff in hand, battling the forces of evil. As an 80's kid, I was raised on a healthy diet of movies like Star Wars, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Goonies, and endless other classic (but strange) movies.
As a reader, I enjoy books that take off right out of the gate, sweep me off my feet, and whisk me away on an epic adventure. As an author, I try to create books that do the same for my readers. I write fantasy, and I suppose that I still live in a land of make believe, except now I get to share the adventure with others.
I hope that you will join me on my next adventure, and together we can escape reality, if only for a time.
Why? The first 2 books in this series are fantastic. They both had high drama and action moments but they were also full of farm building, sanctuary building, the Great moments with the animals and even some laugh out loud funny moments. But those are all gone in this book it's just one long angst book. Not one single good thing happens from beginning to end. None of those great and funny animal moments exist in this book. All those "Cozy" moments don't exist in this book. It reads like a Shakespearean tragedy. I highly recommend you read the first two skip this one.
I enjoyed the characterization which leaves you with a strong sense of how different people react to situations differently. Lovable Dugh and the interaction between Rose and Matilda. Truly an enjoyable read!
Totally enjoyed it! This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
