Beary Merry Kisses

Beary Merry Kisses
Ellie is back at her family’s winter cabin for the first and last time without her parents. She’s running from an abusive ex who no doubt is going to try to track her down.
While gathering supplies she runs into Koa, her childhood friend and is caught off guard by the attraction and his scent. Despite their history and obvious attraction to one another, he warns her to stay away, not wanting hurt her or for her to learn his secret.
He’s a bear shifter, not entirely in control of his beast, and she’s his mate.
She’s warned that she’ll have neighbors soon but pushes it aside when she finds not one, but two giant bears in her front yard.
Adrian and Rowan are both Alpha bear shifters and very active with the female population, but stumbling upon Ellie they realize that she’s special. Although Rowan is apprehensive to give up his f-boy ways, he can’t help but be drawn to her.
After a bit of angst and emotion the four of them come together forming a pack. After seeing Ellie through her heat , they let their guard down only for Larry, the POS ex to show his ugly face. Everything is quickly shut down by her powerful mates and they’re able to love happily ever after.
I enjoyed this quick read. The author did a great job packing backstory, character growth and plot into so little words.
Would I read again? Possibly. Would I recommend? Yes. I happen to know just the friend who would enjoy something like this.

We got to 80% and it was wonderful and sweet and loving and then everything went so fast and it got ridiculous. We had so many options!
But the Koa just magically fit in, no problems changing over to civilization again, or blending with strangers.
Ellie bites her alpha after getting out of an abusive relationship and is just like “yeah it’s fine, I’ll spend forever with you stranger”
Rowan isn’t jealous that she banged Koa first after her brother?
This story had so many opportunities had it been longer and damn do I wish we had explored them.
Also… the baby…. I’m just saying even if she had that baby at exactly 9 months later, she is not going back to work full time, happy go lucky, with a month or two after giving birth so like the timeline went to shit at the end there.
UGH IT COULD HAVE BEEN GREAT BUT HERE WE ARE AT 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because we rushed the ending that really should have been majority of the book.

Fleeing an abusive relationship, Ellie runs to the place that feels of home and safety, a place she shared with her late parents, and ends up running right into an old friend and two new neighbors all hiding a beary big secret. Fated mates, protective instincts, and even some healing from grief and trauma abound in this little omegaverse novella set in a small town with a little bit of the paranormal. Twas beary sweet.

I really enjoyed this Omegaverse bear shifter romance. Ellie has had a rough couple of years, so she went to the last place she was truly happy with her parents before they died. The place that meant so much to their family for decades. She definitely got more than she bargained for. The heat between her and Adrian and Rowan was scorching!

Sweet and short
Instant love, short and sweet. This story has all the hallmark feels. Running away from a bad situation, the fmc soon finds herself the center of attention with 3 overprotective bears. Super cute, a few bear puns, and a whole lot of instant love and omega/alpha dynamic. Plots a little choppy at times but otherwise an enjoyable read.

This was a great shifter Omegaverse holiday story. I loved Ellie and her bear shifters. This was a short read, with enough drama to keep things interesting. Her story, and the characters were all well developed and overall, this was a great holiday read!
